I recently bought this because I'm tired of the old programmable thermostat it's still hot inside the house and everytime I followed directions it didn't work so my old one is A S S, so I definitely hope this is far better

Hi I have this same one but it’s fronzen on fan auto and menu I don’t know how to reset it and it doesn’t do anything else what can I do ?
What would you recommend, for the simplest, forced-air heating only?
Just on and off, and temp up and down. I would take batteries out in summer, to avoid corroding contacts.

My old Honeywell's contacts corroded, and now I only get 3 weeks out of a set of AA batteries.

We have this model in our rental we just moved into but it doesn’t have a heat option, just the cool? Does that mean we don’t have a heater set up to the system in this rental? I’ve never seen that.
correct it probably not configured for heat. But check to see if there is another thermostat somewhere else in the place.

This is NOT an easy setup. Switches screens while you are trying to select the correct option from the manual Hour into it and still no heat.
Appreciate you work and effort ... but seems you should have had better knowledge of the basic install and programming procedures, even though this is a non-programmable unit. I've got a T2 unit to install, and as simple as it may be, you video left me confused, and doubting the instruction given you had problems with the install of "a basic non-programmable unit". If so simple, then why did you have problems?? Please don't me wrong ... I very much appreciated your efforts and posting ... but have to say that it left me doubtful to follow your guidance. Please keep working at it ... very useful posting, but needs to give confidence that the most basic issues are covered. If not ... then caveat to inform us of assumptions or potential issues. Otherwise ... folks lose confidence. Tank you though for what you're sharing ... just encourage you to practice and troubleshoot before posting final. God Bless and Thank You! 42-Jack
