You could use the rigid foam insulation board to give the headboard more structure and durability.
And an old comforter for some padding
great ideas, very creative
I was thinking to use a canvas from an art store. I think your idea and my idea would look much more ideal than using cardboard. I think depth is important and gives it a more finished/professional look.
I think these would be really cute for dorm rooms.
I wonder if you could use an old lace tablecloth over a colored material for headboard using this method? I think it would be pretty for a little girl's room.
Very cool idea. I bet you could double the cardboard piece for a thicker look. ⭐
Ooo, put quilt batting on the front of the trifold board, lots of options.
Awesome idea. Kids will love this, especially teenage girls that always change their color scheme.
You could use long strips of Velcro to attach the fabric to the cardboard. That way you could change out the fabric for the seasons.
I cringed when I saw he was going to cut up that beautiful throw.
Love it ❤️ Now I know what to do with all of my Amazon boxes
😂😂😂
I really like the first three using the cardboard backer, and the last one with lightweight blanket and wood frame. They look so easy to do! I'm going to try the fabric on cardboard and the framed blanket for my own room so I can easily change them out! Thanks for the great ideas!
It's OK for a photo shoot, but nothing like durable enough to be functional.
You can also use an old attractive flat sheet. I like the idea of using foam insulation board.
The edges on the first two just don't have that finished look, telling me this isn't something I would do. The black floral print turned out very nice!
The framed material took some doing, but turned out nicely. Painting the frame to match the material would've given it a really nice finished look vs the raw wood.
Good ideas.
Agreed. An extra step to paint it would have really finished it well.
Wow, great insight, you should create your own channel,,,I would like to see your ideas!
I'm pretty sure that with more attention you could do better job...
How do you attach it to wall?
Love the headboard ideas!
The last headboard was stunning although all of them were great! What an awesome hack!
This would be great for decorating a dorm room
I created my own furniture with plastic tubes and cardboard when I arrived here in Canada 33 years ago.
I like all these headboard ideas.
Awesome hack! Can't wait to swap these around. Heck I might even take the actual headboard down to try this hack. 😂. Too cute!!!
You can just use command strips for different cardboard designs
Both syles were great and fun with possibilities for materials to use. Inspiring👍
Good quick ideas for turn around decor in a hurry. I like the chaps idea with the easy frame, he is a genius at constructing things but this I could do myself, anymore easy builds without big tools would be very welcome, Thank you all 👍
I like the last one best. That blanket is what's called the "Summer/Winter" weave. The pattern pulls up the exact opposite color warp threads on the back.
In case you ever want to take that apart I might suggest that you fold the edges in on the last part that you're securing and keep the blanket intact without cutting it. It's going to be facing the wall anyway, you wouldn't see the extra and it would still be stapled at the edge.
These diys are AWESOME...thanks for sharing..
I have a huge canvas wall picture that's seen better days so fabric and staple gun at the ready 🤩
Oh Yea you can also change up for the seasons or to match the bedding super great idea's , thanks for sharing 🌸
Wowowow. I love this idea of the headboards !!!
Watching this is so relaxing.
Beautiful ideas!!
Wow awesome idea
These are some pretty nifty ideas thanks 🤗😎
The first video (Dollar Tree items and cardboard) is a good idea for temporary places, like dorm rooms and assisted living facilities. It’s not super-stable for everyday , long-term use.
The second idea (padded hexagon) is an AMAZING idea, and it looks very professional.
The final idea (fabric on a frame) is another great idea for a headboard OR for wall art.
What a Brilliant Beautiful idea! Oh My Goodness! Thank you so much ! I'm going to Dollar Tree tomorrow and make a headboard! ❤️
WOW 💜
Love them and pretty easy to make
I love using cardboard to make new things!!!🤩🤩
Really creative and affordable, have never seen anything like this!
Ingenius!!
These are ideas you can get inspiration from.
Wow, just what I need to do, thanks for sharing.

What a great idea looks really nice headboards 👍 l'm going to try them all
Wow that’s pretty cool 😊
Our house has a lot of hard surfaces and I had been thinking of putting together something very similar to that last piece. This was just the tutorial I needed for that! I'm thinking of adding some foam padding to the back to help absorb the noise in the room (especially when the dogs bark!) Thanks!
Sus trabajos son muy hermosos.
Gracias
Saludos desde Costa Rica
I like the last one best
Fresh ideas ! Thank you .
Thank you for these great ideas!
🤓You can Use “free” cardboard boxes from the supermarket😉
Girl you've got it going on!!! I'm inspired!! Thank you so much!!
The wall paper was popular in the early 80s. They were called Flair Squares. Very cool ideas. Thanks!
I think it would have been neat on the last one, to staple the side with the extra fabric to the frame, then flip the excess fabric back to the front and create a valance look along the top.
What good ideas! Thank you!!
Awesome job
Great looking headboards from both of you!
Great idea!
I'll just buy a padded headboard lol
Awesome ideas
What fantastic ideas! I love these -- can't wait to try them out. Thanks for sharing!
This is so much easier to do to make your bedroom or living room to look amazing and cheaper. Thank you❤❤
KOOL IDEA THANKS LADY
Great Idea's Love Em All ❤😆
I love this
👍 Great ideas
Great idea for headboard or a picture. I’ve seen this before but didn’t know the type of staples and the first one I’d new to me.
This is awesome
Good work and great ideas. Thank You 🥰❤️💖
That’s a great idea thank you for sharing this
I can see using fabric on the cardboard .
That just arson thanks for sharing 👍
تسلمين
فكرة جميلة وبسيطة وسهلة وتؤدي الغرض
Brilliant
This could be a cheap way to redecorate a room also, use 4 paint sticks & tack nails or velcro, which would make switching designs easier. Redo a whole room or create a focal wall.
With the towels could put padding under make little puff
I've used those "wallpaper stickers" from DT... use caution. They do NOT peel off like a vinyl sticker, or 3M type material. They are paper backed and will just shred like a peice tag sticker. If adhering them to something that's meant for it to stay on (like these cardboard squares), that's best.
Thanks
Pretty
My favorite store
I take decorative stick on papers for lamp shades too. Gives it importance
Might be faster, on the hexagon one, to use batting instead of foam. Remnant sections of fabric shops are great places for inexpensive interesting fabrics.
❤️ I grew up using batting in nearly every project cuz my mom is a independent quilt & blanket maker. It could even be double layered for a super cushy feel! 😉
Or a curtain at a thrift store
Why didn’t you show how to make the frame on the headboard?
I don’t think there was a frame.
It's the cardboard!
She used the cardboard as well as two paint sticks/wood sticks as a brace.
SHE SAID USE COMMAND STRIPS .WATCH AGAIN & LISTEN
Yea..the last frame, wooden was not addressed like I wanted. But was way cool iderz
Super!!! You can also cut the upper 2 corners round a d give it a different look too, just an idea.
It looks cheap, is better to buy a saw and timber, make a frame and can cover whit fabric.
Then glue half of that box to your curtain rod making a window 🪟 match.😘
Sweet
Genius
I think I’d spring for some foam or matting.
nice
❤❤👍
How do you mount the head boards onto the wall properly?
Will these sticky sheets work on wood?
It would have be nice To somehow save the castles of that blanket and somehow Incorporated it into your headboard
I would go for the appliance store pick up free box
The last one I would made a rod pocket with the e excess fabric to hang it much easier, small enough dowel a few cup hooks would do the job.
The last one was best, but did I miss something? How was there a frame visible from the front when he stapled the fabric around the front of the frame?
Make pillows with extra fabric.
😊👍
How do you keep the headboards in place? Wouldn't they fall behind the beds without something temporarily securing them without damage to the walls?
She said she used command strips.
@@jenniferrinaldi8808 ... that whole idea wouldn't stay up half a day in my room. . Nor would it in kids rooms either.
Lol they all said they used command strips and the last one was with nails
@@tiffanysmith3210 Command strips are strong!
It stays!
I 🥰.
Thanks for the ideas. Would like to see the finished products first. Then understand what you are doing as you proceed. Have 2single beds that need the first one.
