I feel if I watch enough of these videos I can redecorate my whole hour for like 700$ 🤔🙏🏻
😂😂😂😂or less. I moved into my first place in July...it doesn't look like it! Lol I've diy'd or thrifted EVERYTHING lol Even my .69 cents sectional💁😂
Agreed
@christina jones .69 cent sectional you say?! 😭😭
Lol yeah
This is genius!!! Especially for someone who rents or moves often and doesn’t want to bother with moving a big heavy headboard. Wow! Awesome diy
MsLiliblue that’s a great point 👍🏻💕
Good idea, looking forward for interesting videos, thxs indeed, u inspired me ,be blessed sister
Or have that hefty price tag money for the ones in stores
I was expecting this to look horrible, no offense, but holy smokes I'm impressed!! I will be making this for sure!!
Amanda Morgan I love reactions like this honestly! Thank you I’m glad u stuck through the video to see the end result❣️😊
I like it. I would have added a thin piece of foam to make the tufting stand out more. Neat project.☺😁🎉
Very nice job!!
Holy cow batman, what a great idea! AAAAND you can use your imagination and use any sort of fabric design. I have been seeing a lot of nice shower curtains coming out this season and thats a lot of fabric on those for $10

I grab up a lot of used king sized sheets at thrift stores, and off social media for my material. Their so cute and cheap!
Oh boy!? I'm going to have to do this now for my daughter!! How awesome!! I love you Kelly!! You are awesome!!
Go on with your crafty self! Absolute adorable!
LOL, Why Thank you :-)
How beautiful! Great job. That's a little girls dream room. Thanks for the video!
That is so sweet a message from you to your children.. and I did like the DIY.🌻🐝🍃🍃🍃
Kelly, Your headboard is very cool!! I wish I had a guest room or a little girl to make this head board but, I live in a one bedroom apartment and it is just me. For years and years I didn't have a head board but, I love anything that is made out of wood. When I was a little girl in the early 60s my grandfather who owned a construction company - out of scrap wood made my mom a bedside to attach to my bed so I couldn't fall out. It was forked at the bottom to adhere to the lip of the box frame and the other side of the bed was against the wall. About a year ago in my mom's basement I saw the side rail protector and told her I had an idea for it. I took it home and cleaned it up, pulled my bed out from the wall and the forked part of the bottom of the bed rail fit perfect over the frame lip, thus I now have my headboard. It is very plain Jane but, at Michaels the other day looking for some flowers for a new spring wreath for my front door I saw some nice wandering vine type of ivy and thought that might look cool to weave in and out of the slats on the headboard - but, sticking to a budget - I put that idea on the back burner to maybe get some other ideas from you tube how to dress it up. I was in the Dollar Tree this afternoon and saw all the large white pieces of foam board and thought of a video where the other day a woman made a faux door out of the foam board. I love the Dollar Tree near my house but, it doesn't carry the nice wall decals of Bible verses and nice sayings that other Dollar Tree's have on the you tube videos but, I found for $1 a box of w large spools of jute string today in 3 different colors so I did buy that. Anyway - your headboard is super cool and I trying to think of other ways I can use your idea. Maybe adding ribbon in a criss-cross pattern and gluing the buttons in the middle of the ribbon and hanging it on the wall to slide photos or other cards/ideas in between the ribbons and hang it on the wall over my sewing table. Thanks for an awesome idea for the future. If I ever have a guest room I for sure will make your head board. - Rebekah from Alexandria, VA
That headboard is absolutely gorgeous! You have inspired me to try and make one for my kingsize bed. I’ll have to measure to see how many foam squares I’ll need. Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us!

Cute! I really like the endless possibilities. One could do just about anything with this idea.
Another awesome DIY.... Love Allie's room..... T hank you for sharing...... LOVE LOVE
Wow! I love this headboard. I have seen this type headboard as a DIY in the past but heavy lumber and major hanging hardware was always used, also sewing the buttons to quilt the fabric. The whole project always seemed so overwhelming until now. The foam board and straight pins idea is genius and the end result is wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
Love, love, love this project! Just what I need!
Love the head board!!!! I especially love the quilt and sham with the little note to your children!!!!

Wow Kelly great job! You're so crafty and creative.
That is gorgeous! Amazing!
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Awesome idea for my granddaughters bed! My bed has a headboard my husband made from recycling pallets, I stained it, matches my country, farmhouse look:)
OMGosh! This has to be on my to-do list! You are such an aspiration! Thank you for all you do and show.
Mark the button placement on the back. Stick an upholstery needle from back to front, thread on a button, stick the needle back thru the same hole and into a small cheap button (anchor). Tie the thread tight to the button and clip. Saves lots of time with no chance of front buttons popping off of the hot glue. Foam board was a great idea! Great vid. Succinct verbiage is awesome!
Wow! This is over the top! Super duper incredible! I'm totally blown away! Love it! Tfs!
I really love this headboard. Amazing!!!!
A Beautiful Idea, specially the Quilt
Just made one and love it! I used the huge cardboard box from my neighbor's new TV, some old fleece blankets and topped it with a gorgeous paisley quilt a friend was getting rid of.
Wow never would've thought of this cool idea ❤❤❤❤❤

Great. Love this. Am going to do this. This will be perfect for bed that's in front of window. No worries about breaking glass
This is absolutely amazing!!
Oh my god this is absolutely ADORABLE! I’ve been putting off upgrading my nine year old’s twin bed to a full size due to budget with purchasing mattress and headboard. This is definitely a MUST DO. THANK SO MUCH for sharing.
I knooow think about all the fabrics at Joann's and if you wanted to spend a little more you can make it a themed one -- they have fabric from tons of Disney movies etc.
This is great! Thanks! I am going to try it for my toddler's room
