The drummer is a pocket sized nuclear reactor and they play at insane speed and precision. This was recorded for their DVD of their concert and was mixed in Finland by the same people who work for Nightwish. If you started with a music video, you might have been one of the embarrassing reactors who said, "These women are fake and have another performer." Midori (guitar) and Miyako (guitar & keyboard) play unbelievable guitar solos / harmonies. Haruna (drums) doesn't get sweaty during the one and a half to two hours of playing, and she smiles. When watching their performances, you need to hold your chin firmly so that it doesn't fall to the floor.
What did I just watch....is this real....LMAO!! Another innocent pedestrian hit head on by the Lamborghini of Metal Bands that is Lovebites!!! Yes they are real, all petite models who wear white dresses and high heels on stage to stand out and be seen easier. Haruna/drums the 4' 9" pocket nuke that beats that special arranged kit into mush during every show!! ( careful there are a lot of the WOLF-PACK who have been crazy for her for years so the line is very long). Asami/vocals is a 4' 10" dynamo who is an ex-ballerina student and a backup RnB/Jazz/Soul singer who never sang metal till she joined this band. The dual lead guitars are polar opposites who blend together perfectly. Midori/Blond the Flash/Shred Queen dropped out of Pharmacy school and gave up piano at 20 to learn guitar. Miyako/Dark hair the Melodic Queen Harmonics/Tones is a classical trained pianist since age 3 (wait till you hear her on the keys) who picked up the guitar at 18 and taught herself to play. The bassist/Miho is the founder and true metal-head who left the band recently due to personal reasons and we await her replacement. These insanely talented women define Flawless Perfection especially LIVE. 50+ songs since 2017 and this one doesn't make the top 10 LIST!!!! Pick anything but Bloodstock (lousy audio engineering job) and you will never be disappointed by these women...NEVER/EVER no matter if it is Power, Speed, Thrash, Prog, Rock, Ballads or even classical piano. Welcome to the WOLF-PACK the fan base that have been following these talented women as they try and get the exposure they truly deserve.

Oh, it's real, listen to the studio track, it sounds very different this is much heavier live, in the studio track the guitar solos, get lost in the mix with all the symphonic elements. These ladies can fucking shred, and Haruna the drummer is a mini-nuke of deathly destruction.

I agree that they sound heavier live, but I dig the more symphonic sound of their albums as well. There are a few songs I definitely prefer live though.

Congratulations! You have discovered Lovebites who arguably are THE BEST heavy metal band in the world, surpassing the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Dragonforce. How? Because while the U.S. took mandatory music curriculum out of the public schools starting about 30 years ago, Japanese schools REQUIRE every student to study at least one instrument. As a result, while we sat on our thumbs and let our kids become retarded in the U.S., we are now seeing the rise of Japanese heavy metal bands. One of their guitarists, Miyako, is a musical genius having been trained on classical piano since the age of 3. Since Japan is still male dominated in business corporations, the young girls have been concentrating on the arts, music in particular. That’s why there are so many all female rock bands coming out of Japan right now. There are NO bad Lovebites songs. In fact, their live concerts are even better than their music videos.
The real deal, and while they have some great music videos, every live performance is outstanding like this one. As mentioned, stay away from Bloodstock as it is shit mixed. It only takes a couple tracks to be totally all in love bitten.

Oh, it's real, listen to the studio track, it sounds very different this is much heavier live, in the studio track the guitar solos, get lost in the mix with all the symphonic elements. These ladies can fucking shred, and Haruna the drummer is a mini-nuke of deathly destruction.

I agree that they sound heavier live, but I dig the more symphonic sound of their albums as well. There are a few songs I definitely prefer live though.

lovebites is my 2nd favorite band after Unlucky Morpheus, who i highly recommend you to check out, songs like Black Pentagram or Angreifer performed live are good to start with

Congratulations! You have discovered Lovebites who arguably are THE BEST heavy metal band in the world, surpassing the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Dragonforce. How? Because while the U.S. took mandatory music curriculum out of the public schools starting about 30 years ago, Japanese schools REQUIRE every student to study at least one instrument. As a result, while we sat on our thumbs and let our kids become retarded in the U.S., we are now seeing the rise of Japanese heavy metal bands. One of their guitarists, Miyako, is a musical genius having been trained on classical piano since the age of 3. Since Japan is still male dominated in business corporations, the young girls have been concentrating on the arts, music in particular. That’s why there are so many all female rock bands coming out of Japan right now. There are NO bad Lovebites songs. In fact, their live concerts are even better than their music videos.
