Loving this game. The fact Robo can write tickets for cars parked in front of fire hydrants to grabbing thugs and throwing them into walls, while battling computer glitches and dealing with his past makes this game of 2023.
Proof you don't need the biggest budget to make a good game. It's nice when developers actually remember a game isn't all about it's highest graphics, it's about fun. We're not all buying games lost under the same illusion that we're going to be professional competitors and relying on that and making people pay out the nose over and over again on MACRO transactions to remain competitive or eye catching.

I agree with you. Rogue City feels like a 6th generation game (OG Xbox, PS2 and GameCube). The game is simply a videogame. The game makes you feel like you are part man, part machine Robocop! These developers may have found their niche in gaming...The Crow would be a great videogame.
It’s better looking than that. Graphically it feels between PS3 and sometimes 4 to me personally. It’s absolutely spot-on as far as capturing that urban 80s feel and look matching the movies. Teyon really hit a home run with this game.

I’m glad so many people are having fun with this game. The reveal, what was shown a couple of years ago didn’t look very promising and that made me sad as a huge Robo Cop fan. But it looks like they took their time to make something very special. I can’t wait to play this game!
Had more fun with this than I ever have with a AAA title in a long long time. Enjoyed this more than Starfield. Mario Wonder or Spiderman. Its everything a fan of Robocop could ask for. It will be platinum #201 within a few hours.

Urban version definitely had a harder edge which was more like Dredd from the comics. His acting was on point for Dredds actions. But it was basic in aesthetics. No standout characters, no futuristic bikes, no mention of the wasteland or of the mega cities. The buildings security is the only thing that stands out in that category.
This game is amazing!!! I am having so much fun and will be playing it a couple of times through (trophy season). There is a lesson here; when you respect the source material and create a great story, awesome things happen.
This game is absolutely AWESOME. Huuuuuuge step up from their Terminator game in every single regard and even that was already pretty decent. I loved the 2003 game, bought it at launch and felt like I was robocop when playing, who knew 20 years later they would recreate they exact same feeling. I find this game heavily inspired by the Titus 2003 game but its so so so much better
When would you have a sequel take place? After Robocop 3? Between 2 and 3 again? I wouldn't mind it if they completely remade 3 for the better. Give us the rated R version with some tweaks to story.
I've been enjoying it so much. I have no idea what "journalists" or Gen-Z kids might think of this game, but if RoboCop was a childhood hero of yours, don't even think twice. You will not be disappointed.
One little detail that shows these people really know how to capture the look of the 80's that I noticed: the "control chip" in the cinematic that gets installed in Robo's head is literally just a transistor with a blinking red light in it. This is exactly the kind of inexpensive, quick prop they would have made for this little bit moment in the prop department of one of these movies, in a video game made in 2023. That's some serious dedication to getting the look and feel just right!
This game is legitimately one of my favorite games of the year. For background I own Robocop 1&2 on VHS, Laserdisc, Dvd, and Blu Ray. I am a huge fan of the first two films so I may be biased, but this game is what I have always wanted.
Teyon has made an equally fantastic game called TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE - COMPLETE EDITION, which I highly recommend and which is currently on sale. Not long ago they made an upgrade for it for XSX.
I agree, this is fun shooter. This is the Robocop game I’ve been waiting for since I saw the original movie in the early 90’s… I would love them release some extra story missions via DLC. Also… don’t the developers still have the Terminator license… I’d totally trust them to create a new Robocop vs Terminator game. That would be amazing.
I decided to put maryjane 2 down and I picked this up, I'm about 15hrs in and I'm having alot of fun it's far from perfect but it stays true to the movie and there's alot to do the story is straight forward and the upgrades and collectibles keep you wanting to progress I'm looking forward to seeing more games like this get the proper treatment they deserve I give it an 7/10 🤘
My GOTY. I can not understate how much I love Robocop. It’s my 2nd favourite movie of all time, just under Jurassic Park, and then followed by Predator and Die Hard. I got such a wave of nostalgia firing this up.
I get the feeling the guys at id software are keeping an eye on this title, especially Hugo. Hugo mentioned Robocop as an influence while working on Doom Eternal and id software has said about their next game, "if Doom Eternal felt like Bruce Lee on rocket skate, then our next game will feel like a lumbering monster truck".

I just started playing this game with about 7 hours in. I totally agree with the review. The game is set in the 80’s and keeps that Jenky game style, but the mechanics and combat are so fun. Great review, RGT 85!
I just got Robocop on PS5 and I'm loving it ! It's a dream game for this old 80s kid that always loved Robocop 1 @ 2 ! I'm going to get the game on Xbox Series X next month just to support the awesome developers who made this and the underrated Terminator game !

Glad to see another successful polish game released. RoboCop and Ghostrunner 2 are getting very good reviews. Many people don't realize how many games come from Poland. Its not all Cd Projekt Red or Techland.
For me as huge robocop fan this is one of the best games ever made the terminator game they put out as amazing aswell definitely going places these guys
I was watching Alanah Pearce and Rahul Kohil stream this game last night... the game looks like a blast but it clearly has bugs/glitches we witnessed... it crashed, had some npcs or an item glitching out... and after the crash, that took 40 mins to download and install a new patch again. The game's dedication to the world of Robocop and its time period is very faithful.
I bought this on Steam Deck and am having a ton of fun. Only issue is trying to find a happy medium between performance and graphics on the Deck though
Goty for me, just wish there was new game plus but I'm gonna replay it and make different choices. I haven't played a game this much in years. I recommend their Terminator game as well just as good but robo is amazing

I’ve only been able to play about an hour, but I love it! I’ll get it for my Series X or PS5 when it goes on sale. The Steam Deck is a decent enough experience. But this game deserves the full next gen experience.
Robocop: rogue city is a game that needs no introduction. Everyone knows who Robocop is, it’s also a game that is very surprisingly good. It just goes to show you that you don’t need a big budget or a big team to create good games Rerez said this once, and I agree with him “big companies can create bad games, small companies can create amazing games“ and I think that Robocop: rogue city proves that, is it the best game of 2023 far from it no, is it a bad game, absolutely not, but is it a game you should check out yes I highly recommend it, Robocop: rogue city gets an 8.5/10, there are some things I do wish they could’ve done better such as the lip-synching and even a new game plus mode but overall I’m happy with what I’ve got and maybe they might fix that later on in an update.
This definitely ❤❤❤ a game for us 30 and up who grew up watching robcop and felt disappointment of the console versions (which wasn’t horrible) but now I am confident to pick this up hopefully it’s $20 or less around Black Friday

That was from RoboCop 2, and this clip was also used in movie theaters at the time to tell patrons not to smoke in the theater.

I got the platinum for this , spider man and Alan wake over the last 2 weeks and I enjoyed this the most out all 3, so that says a lot. Loved it.

Robocop 3 and the remake are the only two Robocop films that tried to appeal to kids and they failed.
There was also a cartoon and a Canadian live-action TV series which were family friendly.
1 is a classic
2 was a solid continuation
3 is a chore to sit through
I know that both October and November are packed with games, but man, Robocop and Ghostrunner 2 were unexpectedly good surprises.

I remember playing the console game when i was a kid, i remember the RoboCop vs Terminator one too.
Glad to see another successful polish game released. RoboCop and Ghostrunner 2 are getting very good reviews. Many people don't realize how many games come from Poland. Its not all Cd Projekt Red or Techland.
For me as huge robocop fan this is one of the best games ever made the terminator game they put out as amazing aswell definitely going places these guys

I was watching Alanah Pearce and Rahul Kohil stream this game last night... the game looks like a blast but it clearly has bugs/glitches we witnessed... it crashed, had some npcs or an item glitching out... and after the crash, that took 40 mins to download and install a new patch again. The game's dedication to the world of Robocop and its time period is very faithful.
I bought this on Steam Deck and am having a ton of fun. Only issue is trying to find a happy medium between performance and graphics on the Deck though

Goty for me, just wish there was new game plus but I'm gonna replay it and make different choices. I haven't played a game this much in years. I recommend their Terminator game as well just as good but robo is amazing

Funny enough, I did just that for RoboCop on Blu-ray at dollar tree, back when dollar tree stuff was still one dollar. How appropriate! But that was a dollar well spent!

This is a great game, I did a robocop painting on my channel , iconic film. Shame about the sequels.
I’ve only been able to play about an hour, but I love it!
I’ll get it for my Series X or PS5 when it goes on sale. The Steam Deck is a decent enough experience. But this game deserves the full next gen experience.

Omg! I remember buying Robocop for Game Boy 1 from Toys 'R' Us as a small kid. That game was SO difficult I was so upset lol.
Robocop: rogue city is a game that needs no introduction. Everyone knows who Robocop is, it’s also a game that is very surprisingly good. It just goes to show you that you don’t need a big budget or a big team to create good games Rerez said this once, and I agree with him “big companies can create bad games, small companies can create amazing games“ and I think that Robocop: rogue city proves that, is it the best game of 2023 far from it no, is it a bad game, absolutely not, but is it a game you should check out yes I highly recommend it, Robocop: rogue city gets an 8.5/10, there are some things I do wish they could’ve done better such as the lip-synching and even a new game plus mode but overall I’m happy with what I’ve got and maybe they might fix that later on in an update.

This definitely ❤❤❤ a game for us 30 and up who grew up watching robcop and felt disappointment of the console versions (which wasn’t horrible) but now I am confident to pick this up hopefully it’s $20 or less around Black Friday
It's popular to poopoo Robocop 3, but it had one of the best villains in the series and those awesome sequences with the roboglider.

I was just as skeptical about the Terminator Game on PS5, but I loved it. I can’t wait to play this game!!!
