On the topic Mooer pre-amps: May we suggest a demo on the Mooer 015? Does it give the kicks of the original?
Whats up man!!! Help me please ... plug the Mooer 011 on the return of a Meteoro 2x12 MCK200 (Andreas Kisser) and I can't get a nice sound. I've tried everything, digging the middle for a more Metallica sound, I've left it flat and etc. Except that NOTHING ... I can't get a nice sound for my ears. Why that??? Help me. Thanks.
Have you checked if you have the cab sim OFF? If you play with amp / cab that should be off and if you play directly into audio interface / mixer it should be ON. Hopefully this was helpful 😎.
Im into metal from Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden up to the extreme cannibal corpse stuff (mainly for cc’s guitar tone) and I’m wondering if I could get their dual rectifier tone hooking one of these up to my TSL100’s effects loop along with using a tube screamer like they do in the front.
Im only just getting back into playing after a 12 year break and trying to get caught up to the crazy technology.
Im definitely finding myself being a tone chaser this time around and don’t want to spend 5k for each sound lol

Ya screw the major bucks i sold all my expensive one trick ponies I'm using a clean Solid state amp I made into a head and just using different pre amps !!!!!
@@zandig666 I hear that. If I ever sell my tube amps, I’d likely get the Marshall mg100hdfx half stack solid state and use pre amp pedals as well. Amp snobs give that amp hell and I don’t know why. I mean, other than the replaceable stock speakers in the cabinet, it’s a beast at a phenomenal price
@@someonehadtosayit2566 yessir I had an mgfx 100 I got rid of which i shouldnt have, those programmable channels etc r killer. I will keep my eyes open for those combos cheap still .now I kept my marshall 412 chopped a peavey bandit 112 into a head and just use preamp pedals
I will keep my eyes open for marshall lead combos, mosfets etc and other cheap combos and cut them into heads cheap and killer !! Those jvm Mesa etc 2-4 channel amps are $2-$4000 😂
I love the rectifier sound, but you did´nt have enough gain in this video for my liking. Did you have the gain at 10?
Not at 10 but the pic shows the settings. I’m more like the less gain the better / punchier but maybe it doesn’t work with Boogies 😎. Well...this wasn’t a Boogie but anyway...😊
Just a matter of taste, i guess. But something was missing with this pedal for me, it did´nt have the "oomph" that rectifiers have. Yeah and the terrible hiss was missing too. :)

Maybe you also should try the 002? It’s based on a JCM900 if I’m not wrong. I’m on a hunt myself for a solid Marshall-ish preamp/pedal.

@Malcolm Reynolds Yeah it's my favourite OD / Dist / preamp pedal. That boosted with SD-1 and you basically have your JCM800 style crushing sound.
Sure! I’ve done that and with MXR GT-OD, and Wylde Overdrive too and they work like they would with a real amp. That’s why I like BE-OD so much ’cos it ”acts” like a real amp.
