Her voice is so...clear. Like with other singers you sometimes can't make out some of the words they say. With her I can hear every word clear as daylight.
I just went to their concert last night in Dallas, she definitely didn't seem nervous, and she moved around quite a bit. She loves to twirl the microphone cable though :)

I listened a little more closely to the lyrics of the song... Pretty eerie, really. "I can tell you lies, and you can't get enough." The way the chord progression falls backwards, into a lower (more minor?) place at the chorus feels like a villainous reveal.
Yeah almost all their music has some eerie undertones to the lyrics. Heck some are a bit ruthless even haha. They may sound upbeat, but they lyrics are pretty dark.
Jason Chamberlain Its actually "I can sell you lies, You cant get enough" which is actually more villainous.
The lyrics are,"I can SELL you lies."
She has a beautiful voice live too

Saw them at San Siro Stadium in Milan few days ago supporting Depeche Mode. I've been completely surprised by their music and by her lovely voice. I've never heard from them even, and I live in Scotland! Waiting for September!

A wonderful song, so glad to have come across these guys.
This is the kind of song that can blow your mind with nostalgic beauty if you don't hear it for 15 or more years following the times you heard in your teen/early adult years. This happened to me with Pacific State by 808 State which I experienced in my early years of going out/dreaming big.

You know what I always find interesting about watching them perform (especially this song in particular) is that Lauren never seems to dance to the songs, which isn't a bad thing, it's very intriguing somehow (can't explain).
When I hear this song I am usually throwing myself around like something out of the exorcist, it's so frickin' good!
