I appreciate your channel more & more each day. It’s awesome that you’re a working man that uses your tools, and not some dude at a keyboard all day with thousands of dollars worth of knives!
Great demo, thank you. This is the first knife where I think the tanto may look a little better. If you had to choose, would you go with the tanto or drop?
Very good video. When you consider several things about this knife, I think it is a steal in the OTF world. The steel is premium, the internal design is much simpler and durable than I think anything else in the price range and even more expensive models (it is easy to work on if you have to), the action is buttery smooth, it is light and just feels great in the hand. I'm having a very hard time finding anything I don't like about it right now. Plus, it is USA made.
I said it in the unboxing, but laying the edge back from factory made a massive difference in mine. Mines the magnacut version, but I imagine the 20cv is probably like mine was edge wise….
I am a Microtech guy but this knife is definitely worth buying - would never even give the Benchmade any consideration, Benchmade is the only company that would put a plastic handle on an OTF and charge $300 for $40 worth of raw material.
it's impressive to me that Kershaw can do autos so well and manuals so not well...(yes there are a few recent ones that people like but overall not good)
Bought an iridium a while back. Reminds me so much of my 940. At 60 bucks it’s an awesome work/edc knife. Their take on the axis lock feels every bit as good as my benchmade. Plus the blade is rock solid, my 940 wiggles like crazy unless you keep the screw tighter than I like. Kershaw does make some junkers for sure though.
Awesome torture test. I got the gray one in Magnacut, Kershaw really knocked it out the park with the Livewire.

Interesting results. Would like to see how it performed if you could lay back the angle and put your own edge on it.

Magnacut version should be a big improvement at 62-64 HRC
Man this intro goes hard. I just wanna listen to metal and flick knives now
Fuck yeah
Just subbed brotha! I just started making knife videos myself I got to get one of those kershaw otf for a video

Was this the magnacut?
Yes
My Kershaw livewire makes a squeaky high pitched noise when retracting in. Unlike my other otf's. Anyone know how to fix that?
Drop some lube inside there
I pitty the fool who watches and doesnt like!
Nice !!! Iv been thinking of snagging one of these and your reviews are always dope …💯🤟🏼💯…🛹…🐺…🖌
Thanks man!!
Only have one auto and its not an OTF .. dont plan on adding another auto
OTFs not for me, but it cuts
