Hmm...dissolution of self, suppression of ego. Nothing is wrong because everything is already perfect. Not hung up on the future. Not hung up on the past. A lot of work to find ourselves this way. Even this will not last. A new self is slowly moving in. Duality and non duality. Duality was that self that began for us as infants. This non duality is just an adult viewpoint. Nothing really matters. The dream wants to have fun. Self wants to feel. There has to be a place in the middle. Just let go of this viewpoint. Time to move on to a new project.
I say "God" is, and then their is nothing because there are no words for it and there should not be words for it because it is supposedly that which is nameless. Then I say there is no God. I am existential. How can we say are values are not existential? How can we say higher reasoning does not exist?

One Suzanne's point, I think it isn't possible to describe it without inadvertently adding in our personal perspective. The reason I say this is, we don't just use words when we speak. We use tone, and that tone communicates our relationship to what we're trying to explain. Only in this case we're trying to explain "nothing" (for want of a better word) and we can't, because whether we like or or not, whether we identify with it our not, our brain and body have connotations, feelings and opinions about the word "nothing", which we can't help but convey, verbally or non-verbally, when we talk about it.

My conclusion.. this reality is completely absurd in every way and literally can't even be thought or spoken about at all with any logical sense or conclusion. I can't emphasize the complete irony enough. Every avenue seems to lead to and even demand a complete letting go of literally every aspect of ourselves and everything and simply to play in the absurdity of it all. Absurdly I am unable to do this... LOL I can't even. Completely absurd. I couldn't even imagine anything being harder to endure than this. It cannot even be communicated.

The teachings of Jesus came directly from the torah, he then meditated out in the wilderness until it became his truth.
In lucid dreaming we get to know our false self and learn to let go of it.
Learn to breathe in through the nostrils just as Adam did to become a living soul, and through your deep deep sleep (trance state) you shall be outside of your body looking at your old false image, flesh and bones.

Could there be an expansion of talk re: the personal sense of energy being gone for you…do you still observe reactions within yourself in a way that lets you dissolve it. For me, fear is largely gone, but contractions in response to challenging karma still come up… personal sadness still comes, but somehow held in a wider space if that makes sense…ty
So good to find someone who can discuss it openly. I feel what you feel. Agree the fake spirituality thing, could say much but why bother, it's all dead wood, misleading, exploitative, repulsive. The fake disconnection produced it all. Everyone of them will have to clear that out and climb that huge mountain we've climbed. And who knows what epic challenge or illusions of consciousness may come next? The universe does seem to assist the desperate climber hanging by their finger tips. @clee: as your "me" apparently seems to be so deep into the story of the father and "the frozen little boy", it could be useful to do FIRST "the work" (katie byron), and THEN talk to your father. it's only 4 questions and a turnaround, freely available on her website. question those old judgements that you put upon him, and turn them around to feel if the opposites of those judgements aren't also true. or even true-er. so you can see the "frozen little girl" finally. do first "the work", then talk to him. maybe you even might want to apologize to him, as crazy as this might sound to your "me" now. lots of love

@@cleestacy dear, "the work" never fails when it comes to melt frozen love. and when you did it, and all has come up to be seen clearly for what it really is, and the tears have melted the ice, you might find yourself wanting to embrace your father. you might find yourself letting the love flow because now it's possible. also at this end of the world "the work" was done because of frozen love to a father, and afterwards the "me" would have loved to run to him and to embrace him. he was already dead for 30 years, but the wanting to express the love that was turned upside down for decades (or frozen) was strong. even if your apparent "me" doesn't apparently "fall away" by doing "the work", this "me" can find at least peace with the father-story. you will be fine, dear clee! love & greetings

I don't think that the experience of all the people is exactly the same.... And you can't even define it " experience" as there's no subject experiencing it... But even if it's not personal it doesn't mean that the non dual experience is the same for each person in the same way. All of this business of non duality with the belief that each person claiming of having the shift has the same identical taste of it, it's just a big assumption. I've seen so many non duality you tubers and more mature teachers like Adyashanti, Dolano, Rupert Spira or Tony Parson...and they all give you a different " taste" of it. But I don't feel that these sharings of Suzanne are more the " real deal" than the ones of other " non dual CZcamsrs" or spiritual teachers. And by saying that other non dual or spiritual teachers are arrogant , to me she is coming up as arrogant as making herself different as knowing really the truth compared to them. The objective attitude like she holds the objective truth and people then creating an idea in their head of how awaking should " feel" creates more damage than positive effect. My feeling is that Suzanne is still in a process and not quite there and she is taking a big responsibility in giving sessions and influencing others without concerns if she can create more damage than good to people

Question slash rant: I know material pleasures aren't happiness, but they feel a lot better than chasing after spiritual bliss when often I get literally zero results from meditating, etc, especially when the nondual message is repetitive and almost every teacher's gaslighting your own experience of trying to find that bliss y telling you how simple it is to "just be that". Ugh.
It may be that the meditation techniques you're using are not working for you. A lot of meditators are stuck for this simple reason. And then there are all these teachers who keep telling people that the methods they use don't matter and there's nothing to do, which doesn't help.
It seems everything helps someone at some point… but simultaneously inevitably is useless or even harmful to another at the same time. I think in this way the message there’s nothing to teach and nothing to do is pointing at our own individual discernment because ultimately only we have the final say on personal meaning (derived from a fundamentally meaningless universe) and by definition it won’t be the same as another’s, though we may take inspiration (good/bad) to help us move in different directions and learn who we are/want to be in relation to what another says/believes/experiences
Bit of both seems fine… but yeah as the other guy said, being aware of something not working for you is ok… maybe don’t abandon the whole thing just explore a different approach?

Suzanne, I’m so glad I found you. Through meditation i know I am the rising and unfolding of awareness. I Am That. The question i asked of myself, which hilariously i still called the Infinite Creator as though separate, was if I’m that, then i can’t feel guilty for my thoughts and feelings. For they are not me. Then I remembered AGAIN for the second time that I am NO-THING. So then the question was what do I do? Do i follow certain thoughts or not? THe answer, accept the thoughts that don’t feel good. Act upon the thoughts that are fun. THis is what letting go is supposed to mean.I guess. Have fun. No fear. For the self is an illusion.
I think what would be helpful to other viewers is to describe what you’re feeling rather than describing the suffering you’re ascribing to others. Because it sounds like one big judgment. But i can tell you’re mocking your suffering because now you’re detached and see the true nature i.e. awareness. I’ve found that we have to meet people where they are. Although, given the negative comments, I suppose you’re the magnet to trigger the karma.
And,i wouldn’t agree that you’re not a teacher. We are here to embody the human experience, even if we awaken to our God like nature.
Suzanne’s just vibrating in almost non-duality. When you get to this level it’s difficult to hear. Because you’re learning who you truly are. It’s the deeper meaning of you’re not the mind, body or emotions. If you’re not that, what are you? You are the rising and unfolding of awareness. That’s GOD. And that’s you. So there’s only happenings. That’s it. The happenings that are happening are not you. The happenings are just happenings. Everything is just a happening. The “I” of I Am is awareness. There is not individuated I.
Ugh, the last part was so right on. Seeking equanimity or Unity is another mental trap. There’s only awareness. You’re already there. LOL.
Also, if you could go into more detail, if you felt inclined, it would be so wonderful to hear what “seeing the dream more clearly” looks like for you :-)

It's a bit disheartening that this stuff can't be told, but it makes sense. Nobody owns truth, nobody is there to tell what is true, how can a person that isn't even there do anything, let alone say what's true. It's like saying a you can tell a lie that's actually the truth.
Or maybe it's the opposite? The average human as far as they know knows something. So fundamentally it's all truth, even the so-called lies.
If one can understand that irony then it's easier to judge another not so harshly, or even not judge them at all.

What does one do when one is not able to trust a teacher anymore? It seems like obedience to a guru is paramount. The teacher I am referring to is good, nothing wrong with them. But I am not able to be obedient. Any tips?
Sounds like you don't need a teacher.
I’m not a “realized person” or whatever you call it but I don’t think you should be looking for teachers to be “obedient” to in general, least of all when you feel you can no longer trust a teacher in that way. I’ve heard it from people who I think are fully realized (such as Angelo from Simply Always Awake) that it’s not necessary. Just find a teacher who you trust enough to tentatively work within their framework, and know that you can move on whenever you want. You’re probably never going to find a teacher trustworthy enough to become blindly obedient to, and why would you want to anyway? Maybe you have some self-doubt that you should investigate?

@@mannutdutd Sure, I guess the moment we put things into language the game is already lost(And it's only lost in the context of language and concepts too). Still though... we can still make attempts and I think there's a gradient of more coherent and less coherent language. Maybe language isn't that bad, it's just that the way we've been using it has been problematic, because there are so many ways to be confused. But yeah physics basically supports eternalism, and that implies time is an illusion. I imagine existence like a single flower blooming instantly and timelessly, it's just that we're stuck deep down inside this flower so we perceive a passage of something. Our brains evolved as time percievers and time fabricators, not just language fabricators, concept fabricators, and self fabricators. It can help to conceptually untangle this first even if the point is non-conceptual.

Says it’s not mental then goes about using thoughts to describe how it’s not mental. Stop it. It IS mental. You won’t get anywhere by thinking. There is no you thinking, a “we” trying to figure out what all this is IS the illusion. This is already wholeness with or without the thinking.
It's just one of the many paradox's of the dream. There is the shift between the nothingness and the phony character. Even though it's fake, in order to have the experience of conversing with another being or character, both must play the part of a character and language such as "it is mental but not mental" has to be used.

I couldn’t watch all this but what on earth has any of this got to do with non duality!? It’s sounds more like a therapy session. I’m disappointed with this Suzanne. You need to make up your mind on whether you are veering away from spirituality or becoming a therapist because it can’t be both.
I appreciate your comment. And as someone who spoke a lot in this call, and just watched it back, I kinda agree. However, it also has me reflect a LOT. Or, reflection happens when these words come out with Suzanne.
There is a HUGE seeing of ALL the stories. That seems not to happen with other teaches who tell me NOT to have stories. To NOT buy into them. They are denying and rejecting the existence of stories. But stories exist. But they’re just stories.

This group and these questions speaks not to the theory or concept of non duality, but perhaps the seeming experiential dropping away of the illusion.
This can be painful to experience to the person, and it’s helpful to talk to “another” who has also been through it.
I do think that true non-duality is the encompassing of EVERYTHING. This includes emotions and sensations. But to not buy into them. Teachers who can’t speak to deep suffering (Rupert Spira and Adyashanti, by their own admissions), can’t talk about it in this way. They point more poetically and almost intellectually and practically.
Neither is incorrect, but different apparent people will want/need a different “in” to non-duality.
@@cleestacy I can totally see how these conversations with Suzanne help you identify the stories and bring you both clarity and comfort. However, for some people, I think it may cause a lot of confusion especially if they want to see the non-dual nature of existence. Any discussion regarding stories is, in my opinion, more akin to therapy; I think the distinction is vital. I much preferred Suzanne's earlier videos (those in the cemetery come to mind) which provided a fresh and unique perspective of non-duality.

I don’t want therapy because therapists try to fix and heal. Suzanne just speaks to what’s here. And sometimes it’s emotions and stories. That IS non-duality, no? It’s part of the all.

This a 100%. Any reputable meditation teacher (whether in a non-dual tradition or not) will refer students who are stuck with a story (or stories) that causes them great anguish to a professional therapist. Especially people who have significant trauma may need to address this first. It's not enough to just "talk it out" (which might provide some temporary relief) or escape into "it's all an illusion" (if it were, what would be even talking about here? It's just deferring what really needs attention). As the psychotherapist and meditation teacher Jack Engler said, "You have to be somebody before you can be nobody."
@@cleestacy Yes, stories are part of the whole but if you focus on them, dissect and analyse them, you are veering away from non duality by emphasising the illusory existence of separate egos who are wrapped up in their stories. Far better to zoom out from the stories and see them for what they are: thoughts arising in awareness that cannot touch the peace that you are. That’s my opinion anyway.

I think in a lot of your videos you attempt to embody the nondual state and that ends up straying away from your teaching ability. Please help people make connections and walk them to a state of unity. I know you say everything is illusory, this is true, but at a certain point it’s a coping mechanism and we must go back to real healing by being able to come back into the body and have it process emotions. It’s ok to feel into your emotions instead of purely observing them. If you go through this yourself, you will inevitable guide others more fluently with real world examples. Much love, you got this
