I ran into a couple videos I'd downloaded recently, and it brought back memories of a different world. Found some of the creators, others either I cannot locate or their channels were deleted.

When I saw boneless skinless with gold leaf I expected them to have replaced the skin with gold.
This channel proves that the content a creator makes and even the topic is entirely secondary to the passion and love they put into their videos. I don't care about sardine but he does and I fix wit that.

I want to imagine these fish were the most hoity toity fish. Which demanded to be coffined in an embossed tin filled with oil of fillet anointment, and laced with gold flakes.
And then once delicately packed in the beautiful tin, they let their guts hang out and started chowing down on cheetos and mtn dew.
Twas all a facade, a veneer, a charade to impress others - their crime was vanity, and we the innocent were made to pay for it.
I'm glad Matt took the hit for these sardines before any of the rest of us tried it.
You need to be a total clown to even consider buying these unironically for a CZcams video.

Some of the best I ever had were "polar" brand, smoked, in olive oil. A while back they were on sale for a buck a can. Went home, ate them, and went back and bought all they had left.
He's reviewed those MW Polar ones with the clear top. I also liked them a ton

I splurged on a $34 can of alalunga's hake cheeks after seeing it featured here, and I don't plan to do it again but I can respect the cost of that can. these are clearly nothing special beyond the packaging and gold flakes are basically negative value.

I tried sardines today for the first time in my life because of your channel. I love them, and I think me and my girlfriend found a new hobby. We got them from trader joes, and ate them while we watched your review of trader joes canned fish (including the two specific ones we got). Not how I expected my day to go, but I found your channel and really want to try sardines (and kippers) now, never had or even thought of having canned fish before
I just joined this channel. And I like your style. You should do end of the year videos starting this year where you tell us your best recommendations at different price levels and also in different categories. With maybe some fun facts or highlights or whatever. I'm gonna be honest I don't think I'm gonna keep watching all your videos but I think that would be popular.

How the hell did i end up here with the rest of you, But boy I love this channel and love his groovy tunes in the background.
I love the cozy feeling i get when eating fish out of a can. I like to imagine I'm that kid from jurassic park 3 who survived inside the wreckage of the airplane eating canned food. Or just some bunker dweller, afraid of what lurks on the surface. And at a time of stress, confusion, and desperation, the only comfort I find is in my can of fish. The fish gives me strength for today. The can gives me hope for tomorrow.

I wonder how much better a freshly cooked sardine would be in comparison. Expensive canned food is kind of an oxymoron. Maybe there's an expensive canned corned beef too or canned tomatoes.

You don't eat the bones of a fresh grilled sardine. Pressure cooked sardines make the bones easily digestible.
There are some of the only full lenght vids I enjoy, and I don't even eat sardines or canned products (too poor atm) keep it up brotha!
