dam i hated the end titel as i knew when i heared this music it was bedtime, the weekend was over,. and it was school in the morning. Still feel that saddness etched to this music
The other day whilst flicking through daytime tv, I saw Katherine Rogers, who played Firefighter Josie Ingham. She was in an episode of Doctors on BBC1. She was instantly recognisable and still looked good
I always remember them leaving the final episode of a series on a cliffhanger, and the continuity announcer would say 'London's Burning will return in the autumn'...argh! Haha
Great show until about series 9/10 when a new producer came in and thought it would be a good idea to kill off all the original characters and turn it into a soap.
Yeah turning it soapy played a part in its demise I think and the decision to kill Sicknote, one of the beloved and funny characters on the show, was absolutely disgusting. Fair enough if the actor wanted to leave but give him early retirement or send him on tour with a theatre company don't kill off the longest serving character (along with George) especially in such a throwaway exit, turning it soapy and killing off all the original characters certainly played a hand in its axing and did they REALLY need to kill Recall??? The show had been axed so there was no reason to do it

i ust to have my sunday lunch do my homework then wit 4 londons burning and knew that when it was over it was school in the morning so many memmories
good old time's when all we had was analouge tv 1-4 nicam stereo/teletext :)
Loved the haunting Saxaphone Tune at the end credits.
Shame the series went so terribly downhill after about series 5/6.... Music was always the best part of it actually!

The end credits were always the worst part! You had to wait a whole week for more Blue Watch!! LOL.
