I am so proud of being an African and having talented kids like u to assure us that this generation of Africans are going to uphold our dignity and love.
This reminds me of the times when I was 4 living in Nigeria, but now i'm 10. So what i'm trying to say is that Botlahle's poems give me inspiration and make me feel calm when I am angry, sad, or depressed. :-)
except that she is using traditional music and art... to remind the ones who are losing it. I tell you as much as Africa is being westernized, and by that i mean loosing its own identity and copying the western life, there is still so much about culture, traditions, and religion in Africa as compared to Europe... as for JESUS CHRIST, i leave that to individual's right to choose.
I love her so much she is my inspiration and she us the reason why I love poetry so much . Botlhale has inspired me a lot I love her poems and her music she is a very dedicated girl I love her so much
+Hadarah BatYah "African" is not really a language but you could say "the African language" that she's using...but I do agree though...it was a beautiful poem
You people who love criticising are pitiful. in Africa we have great ladies who are stil regarded as heroes to this day. The statement " When women knew their place does not imply a subservient woman but a lady who has dignity in being venerated as the embodiment of mother Earth. Zulu people still call their land Mthaniya"s land or kwelika Mthaniya in Zulu. Mthaniya was an ancient Zulu queen. We call our queens iNdlovukazi which means the Great Female elephant, thus emphasizing their greatness. We call our kings Ingonyama, which means Lion. a lion always gets defeated by an elephant every time. We understood them to be the power behind every situation. We have a legend where the Goddess Nomkhubulwane (Zulu ANGEL (Isithunywa) of fertility, rain, rivers and maidens) is venerated as the most supreme messenger of our one true god, Mvelinqangi (Not to be confused with the western Yahweh). SHE IS A FEMALE ANGEL. READ THAT? FEMALE. So don't think every phrase that is uttered on this Earth applies as you would know it in your culture. please ask before just talking.
you are a pleasure to watch, smart & beautiful!!! YOU GIVE HOPE,a light at the end of the tunnel...dont forget the animals of Africa who are suffering...too!!!!

I would like to live in Africa, because Europe is losing everything: tradition, honour and humanity.
+SlavicBoy But that is exactly what she is saying about AFRICA, the whole wortd is the same. Our Only Hope is in JESUS CHRIST- Sweet Yahshua Messiah
at least she's making a point
except that she is using traditional music and art... to remind the ones who are losing it. I tell you as much as Africa is being westernized, and by that i mean loosing its own identity and copying the western life, there is still so much about culture, traditions, and religion in Africa as compared to Europe... as for JESUS CHRIST, i leave that to individual's right to choose.
