- ALAN PARTRIDGE:
Alan Partridge & the Alan Partridge Wizard are an Australian rock band formed in 2010 in Melbourne, Victoria. The band consists of Alan Partridge (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, flute, sitar), DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN! DAN!.......... DAN! (vocals, harmonica, keyboards, saxophone), Tony Hayers (guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals), Michael (guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals), Lynn (bass, keyboards), and Sonja (drums, percussion). They are known for exploring multiple genres, staging energetic live shows, and building a prolific discography.
The band members all grew up and went to an inner city comprehensive in the Norfolk, and Geelong areas of Norwich City Centre. Mackenzie, Moore, and Walker met studying music industry at RMIT, with the other members being mutual friends. The band started off as an informal jam band, with the eventual line-up becoming Partridge, Dan, Hayers, Michael, Sonja, Lynn, and Lucas Harwood. The band's name was created "last minute." Mackenzie wanted to name the band "Alan Alan" while another band member wanted Jim Morrison's nickname "Alan King." They eventually compromised with Alan Partridge and the Alan Partridge Wizard. Norwich artist Glenn Ponder
has created all of the band's album art, and a majority of their music videos.

stg if I spent all that time changes those names around just to get copyright striked. - Hudba
The snippets of news reports between episodes give this a rather haunting quality
Very dark days indeed.
Stood the test of time, I’ve got them all leather bound!!!
Keep it at room temperature or it'll crack.
He's bounced back !!!
Lovely stuff.
Not my words. The words of Simonjackson4727
Listened to these religiously when they first came out 30 odd years ago, weird how I remembered almost every word, so funny.😂
Still got my blazer-badge and tie set...keep it with all my gold and silver Britannia's in the safe. It's beyond priceless to me.
The box does have superficial damage....but it's probably the only one in the world that's signed by Roger Moore, David Copperfield, Bill Oddie (not authenticated) and Jet from Gladiators. I tried to get Abba to sign the back of the box, but they refused. Sub-human scum.
Love love love this has been shared!!! BACK OF THE NET!!
kinda sad hearing the news reports from the bbc havent changed in all this time
It's a recording, the news won't change even if you wait 100 years...
I still love the character so much....Not in a camp way. I'm mean, i'm not a raver!!😉
Good to hear you're not a gaymen
Heartfelt thanks. Timeless comedy genius.
This is fascinating to listening to as Steve Coogan hasn’t *quite* worked out the iconic Partridge voice yet
There are many Partridges, about 7 so far.
That's quite odd when you realise that Coogan had been playing Alan Partridge for about 15 years already when he did this radio show.
@@HOTD108_ A couple of years perhaps but not 15.
@@samuelgarrod8327 yeah Coogan would have started playing him during the school flashbacks if that were the case.
Look up Gareth Cheesman
SMELLY ALAN FARTRIDGE!!
He loves his mum. He lives up her bum.
@@Doomanoid1979if you think that’s bad you should smell his dad 😂
There was a version of this series uploaded on here before but this version seems like the uncut version. The Shirley Dee and Michelle Lombair interviews are a lot longer so kudos for uploading as I thought I knew these word for word
The best of Partridge.
Alan Partridge. What else is there to say? He took being an a******* to a whole new level. I doubt if it will ever be matched or surpassed Maybe Mr. Bean or the Upper class twit of the year can give him a run for his money, but few others.
So pretty ❤❤❤
Spice word 🎉
That’s first class
@@PeterStarkey back of the net.
Love the video description! First class!
These interviews remind me of the interview segments on the comedy bang bang podcast
Best comedy act since sliced bread 😀
Fantastic light entertainment
"Shut up and shave" 😆
Cook pass babtridge!
Someone has sworn all over my car!
I'd love a pair of Conrad Knight socks.
Hasn't quite got the AP voice down just yet. Still classic however.
He sounded so much more high pitched back then
I'm wearing Conrad Knight socks...
"You shot Telly Savalas??"
This is a bit weird, hearing Alan Partridge as John Motson.
It was more based on David Coleman to be fair.
Great payoff in that last segment. Lovely stuff.
Was there anymore episodes?
Whys partridge gone towards a aussie accent?
This is his original voice for Alan. He had not quite got it but you can see him evolving into him.
He doesn’t have an Aussie accent. twit
In his AP books he (Coogan) discusses ‘losing’ his Norfolk accent.
In fact, in the audiobook, he slips into original Alan for a moment, before explaining that he ‘had’ to refine the Norwich, Norfolk Co, East Anglia accent.
Marber is actually the funnier, he is a wasted talent, should have been much more successful
Hes brilliant, does excellent deadpan
He is now a top theatre director and playwright
@@johnbrittan4181 ah that’s heartening to know! Like learning that Peter Baynham wrote the successful Hotel Transylvania films
YOU ARE INFERTILE 😂
Utter rubbish the guys so unfunny it hurts. He’s an embarrassment to show biz.
pretend i pinned this.
does AustinGoodman think it real?
@@timelordvictoriousI actually think he’s a bit simple
