  • Ruth and Orpah made vastly different relational decisions, in the same set of circumstances. Why do some relationships survive, and others don’t? Let’s talk about preserving long term relationships, and how to survive the toughest of famines.

Bro. Booker’s message “I made the decision when I was in my right mind” is one of my top 10 favorite apostolic messages. Powerful!👍

I like the whole episodes. Do the people who don't like the banter not have a sense of humor? There are several instances of humor in the Bible. Receiving your blessing through your covering only comes from not chasing after "the will of God" by moving all over the place, it comes through submitting oneself to their covering. This episode was 10 💣.

My former pastor, Joel Buxton uses humor to grab attention and then he has you listening.

Thank you for this. I'm finishing a book on Ruth. The virtuous man and woman take responsibility for who is under them.

Orpah missed out big time. Boaz wasn’t even the closest kinsman redeemer. While we’ll never know, one could theorize that had both Orpah and Ruth joined Naomi and served her faithfully, both Ruth AND Orpah could have been redeemed by the kinsman of Elimilech.

Rahab was the mother of Boaz so he knew a little bit about being a stranger in a country.
