As long as your within the level 200 range and copy his stats, this build is actually insane. I’m level 195 and copied everything other than a few levels and I beat Malenia in a few tries. (He says 9 stats for intelligence but you need at least 17 to use the erdtree seal)
Level 200 isn’t a build. It’s just stat pumping. Builds need sacrifice. I mean do whatever is fun for you, but boosting every stat except for 1 or 2 of them is kinda missing the point.
@doio8875 every stat isn't being pumped though, vigor, a little stamina, strength and faith are the only stats being touched Take 40 outta faith and 10 from vigor and that's a sl 150 build which Is average
@@urielxsaint stats have soft caps and diminishing returns so you don't gain as much value for levelling them up at certain thresholds and the value decreases the higher you go
Pretty much my main build on my old 300 hours ng+ character. Always wondered why this sword never saw more love here on youtube, imo it's probably the best overall weapon in the game (which says alot!). Haven't played my main for a long time, but back then the passive heal from the sword stacked when dualwielding Blasphemous sword, making the weapon even more insane.
The Blasphemous Blade is an uncanny weapon. I tried to do other builds but I kept coming back to it. I rarely ever have to use Crimson Flasks because of it.
I would add the Commander Standard and Jellyfish Shield, in the offhand. Starting with the incantations as in the video, follow with the buff of the previous mention weapon and shield, then continue the buffs as you mentioned
It may have received a slight buff or nerf somewhere along the way, but the Blasphemous blade has been OP since day 1. I honestly have a hard time not using it. Just spam L2 to win basically.... I'm surprised it hasn't been significantly nerfed.
I always put the bladphemous blade in my left hand and 2 hand my right weapon because it give the takers cameo effect to any weapon you use. And it looks sick af mounted on your back. As well as being able to completely bail me out of any trouble i could possibly be in with a single attack.
Royal remains set, icon shield, and blessing of the erdtree incant Edit: also use the Great Stars if you need fast healing because it heals on hit with every attack, so use storm caller or wild strikes to max out healing
My favorite part of this video is the "I'm invincible" sound clip in the very beginning is from a bond flick and is said moments before the dude gets blown up because he thought he was more clever then he actually was.
You could also add the bestial vitality incantation to the build. Couple that with the blessed dew talisman and the icon shield will also boost passive heal over time effect.
Just respeced my character to this build, really enjoying so far, but do you have any advice when dealing with enemies that are immune to fire damage? specificly thinking about those big looking brasier enemies shown in the dlc trailers
Is this build still viable after the most recent patch? looks like takers flame fire poise damage was reduced and it no longer knocks down enemies with every hit.
Ashen, can you make a Knight build based on strength that can stagger bosses? (pls i don't want to spam anymore) (with like big great swords as well if possible)
I’d also recommend Ashen One’s Stance Breaker build. Its strength based that utilizes the high stance damage of guard counters to break enemy stances in 2-3 hits.
Ash of war lions claw on the giant crusher with stonebarb cracked tear. Cast elden stars beginning of fight. Also hear square off ash of war and glintblade phananx works well but I've yet to try them
You can stagger bosses with almost every weapon aside from deaths poker and a few others hell I staggered elden beast twice in the fight ppl say you can't but after a few charged heavy attacks he laid down for like 10 secs and i was using blasphemous blade I like doing biulds with a few different options like doing faith/int using blasphemous blade and darkmoon great sword you are literally able to take on any fight exploiting different weaknesses of dif enemies you can also do that with any biuod by switching ashes of war and affinity the fame gives you so many options esp If you use your imagination I just noticed if you stick to one type of weapon you will have trouble with dif enemie types but blasphemous blade can stagger anything if it can stagger holy enimies
Would swaddling cloth actually kick in though? It’s for successive hits right? I know it can be trigged from charged attacks but only on like the 4th one and Taker’s flame isn’t chargeable
This is a strength/Faith build. Intelligence is for "know-it-alls" and nobody likes a "know-it-all". Erdtree Seal is perfect. He is not using Krillins Destructo Disc for this build.

For this build, with Erdtree Incantations, at 80 faith, you would use the Erdtree seal for best heals. Not sure why the argument lists loads of Golden Order spells? Although, we have a build currently being fleshed out that is all golden order incants! 👍

You only use a different seal if you're specializing in something. Example: dual gravel stone seals for lightning. Erdtree seal does NOT boost erdtree incantations except healing. You can verify this on the fextralife site. I'm a hybrid build of faith/dex/int so I'll be looking forward to that video! Your build in this video is good for hp regen but I prefer more power. I'm running a lightning build with dual gravel stone seals +25 and it melts everything.
Pre-dlc & umpteen ng+’s/builds later, the Blasphemous Blade with high faith is my go to weapon particularly for its end game viability. Far from my favourite weapon but takers flame’s hp recovery & its high damage offsets OP boss attacks.
the blasphemous blade is cool, but if you find yourself always coming back to it like a lot of people in this comment section are claiming. It's probably because your bad at the game

You’re thinking of the golden order seal. That requires int.

Amazing build… pro tip you can throw a oil pot at a enemy before you use the Weapon art and you get 50 percent more damage for that first strike
