watching foreigners drink rootbeer is one of my favorite things, we are genetically engineered to desire the stuff and everyone else thinks its medicine.
Not for me. I hated rootbeer. Never liked it. Black licorice as well. They chose the worst American snacks. No one eats Twinkies.
Even in America, some people like root beer & some hate it. Also, I've heard it's the flavor of medicine or toothpaste or something in other countries, so I can see where it wouldn't taste like a beverage to them. I hate grape flavored things because the cold medicine when I was a kid was a syrupy grape flavor. It was gross. The only 'grape' thing I like is actual grapes.
