Met Charles in a Starbucks back in 2016. He didn't know a word of English at the time but made an effort to try to communicate with me. He was super friendly and we took a pic together. Little did I know at the time he would become the killer that he is today. Baddest lightweight fighter!
Here’s something I noticed that is very interesting about Charles Oliveira, while most fighters promote themselves in one way or other, either by talking some smack on the microphone, calling out other fighters, or having some sort of agent do the promos on their behalf, Charles is different, because Charles has his fans do the promos for him, which is really cool and it works so well because everything happens organically!!! And that’s probably the best way to conquer a fan base!!!!
