Yes, the dry milk stabilizes the whipped cream. Instant pudding mix works great for whipped cream. I usually use white chocolate flavored or vanilla flavored, but the white chocolate tastes the best. Also, it already has sugar, so you'll need to omit the powdered sugar.

You know why I love your recipes? They are affordable and don't include 30000 pounds of butter or weird USA-exclusive ingredients in every part of the cake. Thank you. My go-to channel for inspiration.
The truth is I'm not a big fan of buttercream. I think it's too much butter and sugar (some recipes call for 1 pound of icing sugar or more).

I think this cake looks really good. I'm not sure about adding a whipped cream icing/topping instead of a cream cheese icing though. I know there's the cream cheese layer, but it still might be nice to add cream cheese to the icing. However, that's only my opinion. It also has less chocolate than other red velvet cakes I've been, but it still looks great, and I think it would taste great as well. I will be happy to try it. Great video 👍

I made this! I didn’t use gelatin powder bcoz it does not melt even how many times I tried. But the cheesecake part turned out fine maybe bcoz I refrigerated it for overnight.

Instead of gelatin I believe a delicious taste and consistency can still be achieved by combining cream cheese and a half bowl of cool whip. I'd probably try adding some chopped pecans to the cheesecake for texture and as a topping but this turned out fantastic 😋and I didn't know there was food coloring gel!

Well, actually when you are making any type of filling you should adjust sweetness to yourself by trying it before you put it in the cake, so the recipe doesn't really need changes in general, bc for me it was perfect. You should match the level of sweetness to yourself, rather than following the recipe to the every gram and complain it didn't was made especially for your taste lol

Everyone should sweeten it to their own tastes. Tasting it while you're making it is important if you want the sweetness to be exactly to your own tastes.
I don’t follow exact measurements when it comes to sugar/sweetness. Although I like my cake sweet. That’s why I eat a cake.
