As a amateur soapmaker, It has started feeling likea messy and tedious task. but watching your videos make me feel just how soothing and zen it can be and reminded me why i started. Thank you :)
You are by far the best teacher on CZcams 💕
Wow, thank you so much, Rose! 🤗💕
I have no intentions of ever making my own soap, but I am subscribed to and love watching every one of your videos. There’s just something about you and your channel that is enthralling!
Thank you so much for saying so! Enjoy!
Just the making of this soap alone is beautiful!
I've been watching your CZcams channel for a while now, and you seem more confident in your art. I appreciate your time and expertise in design. I'm not a soap maker for business, I make it for my family who has lots of skin issues, but you inspire me to make it more artistic. Thank you for your time!
I've never clicked so fast!! So glad to have another video from you! Beautiful job of course. You have the most relaxing voice.
Aww...thanks so much, Heather! 💝
Whilst at work today I was thinking about this video as I knew I was going to watch it as soon as the night was quiet at home. And I'm never disappointed. Thank you for sharing these techniques and your talent with us. I am so blessed to be able to learn so much from you. The soap turned out amazing as it always does.
Stunning!!!
oh my😍.... your soap bars are excellent made and I love the idea with the straight tool to made the technic of ultra thin horizontal lines!! Thanks for sharing so much knowledge, TINA
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and amazing techniques! I love watching you create and have tried several of your techniques as I am making soap favors for my niece's wedding shower on October 3rd. Thank you Terri 😊
Thanks a million for sharing!!
I just want to say that I love your videos! I love how methodical you are. I have learned a ton from you. Thank you!
I really loved your "tips" in this video and so wish I had seen this before I made my soap for this challenge. In particular, I think using a thicker swirl tool was really helpful. I also want to thank you - I now use a plexiglass to mix my "difficult to mix" pigments, and this really helps a lot with some micas which seem to never mix well. I really enjoy your videos!
Another great video. Thank you.
It’s beautiful… I will definitely trying this next week. Thank you for the excellent tutorial.
Impressed by the very simple and cool work!
The polite work is very nice.
There are many places I can follow! Thank you! !!
Beautiful soap and great, detailed video. Thank you.
Thank you Marie, for sharing your ideas, they are very helpful, specially for me a newly soaper. You are very sweet , talented, and I love your pace.
Love the slanting tip!!!!!!!
I always love your videos. Soap making is such a calming art and your videos especially are so calming. Just a combination of your voice, your methodical way of making soap, and the beautiful end products are just amazing.

Thanks so much, Barbara! I am so glad you are learning! 😘💕
Gorgeous! I've missed seeing your videos!
I hope someday I can make soaps as beautiful as yours! Just starting. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your video!! I have just begun to make my own soap. First batch went well, though I mixed everything by hand. Second batch was last week, and I used my new stick blender ... like a maniac! The batch siezed! I panicked and got it into the mold. Turns out that was the right thing to do. It is okay and curing now.
Your use of the small beakers makes so much sense. I made a couple small glass receptacles for my fragrance oils, but they are too small. I just added a pour spout to a 200 ml beaker I had, but that is too big for the project you did on this video. So I will be making a set of beakers of a size somewhere between my tiny cups and my larger beaker. Ariane Arsenault uses glasses with three pour spouts on each one, the purpose for the three spouts being unknown. But I think I figured it out. I will make my small beaker set with three spouts so that every -time I reach for one-considering my other hand will be busy holding something else- there will be a spout handy for pouring. If you are in a pinch and have to rotate the beaker to line up a spout, you run the risk of spilling it or losing your attention on what your other hand is doing. Thank you, Tree Marie, for the ideas!!
Thank you for also giving us the temperatures in Celsius and the amounts in grams ☺️❤️ I just got interested in soap making and this will probably make it a lot easier for me to get it started. For now I just bought some melt and pour to make my first baby steps in soap making 😄
Stunning soap ❤️
Thank you! 😊
I personally don't make soap but I don't have any plans to go ahead and try but I really quite enjoy these videos I like learning about all the different soap recipes and methods to swirl I think it's really interesting
Great video. Hope to make a charcoal and gold leather jacket scented soap like this in the future.
Sounds good! Go for it, David!
New here. Lady, you are amazing! Thank you for the thorough details, that helps.
Welcome, Cassandra!! Thanks so much!
Great video Teri ... thanks so much .... I’m just heading into my soap room to do my Challenge soap .... yours is so beautiful... have a great day 🐝🐝🐝🌈🌈🌈🧼🧼🧼❣️❣️❣️🌻🌻🌻
Hi this video is awesome, and beautiful, and I had a question about how long to turn on Owen to force gel you said few seconds but how many secs
I am a new to your channel and I love it!!!! I am very new to soap making and was wondering can you use titanium dioxide dispersed in water?
May I ask where you got your little squeeze bottles? What a great idea for topping off oils. :)
Teri sweetheart ❤
It was an amazing video and soap I really loved it I wish you all the success and progress in your line of work 🙏
My regards to your sweet family ❤🥰❤
Thank you, Rawa! Regards and success to you and your family as well! 💝
Nice
wooooooow que genial,,,,
Thank you!
Great looking soap. Really informative. Hi from Australia
Thank you! So glad! Hello in Australia!
Hi Terry, I love this design, its very cool! I like beef tallow better than lard, makes a nice hard bar too. I miss your videos. Hope you and your family are safe.
Thank you, Janine! I have yet to try beef tallow. Can you buy it already rendered? I have no desire to render it myself. 🤭
@@TreeMarieSoapworks
Yes you can buy it on Amazon, I got mine from there, its white too. Very nice.
@@steelersgirl071961 Perfect! Thank you, Janine! 💕
Oh my goodness wait a minute…Do you have separate little squirt bottles of your liquid oil’s? Did I see that correctly? Are your topping off the last few little bits of your measurements that way? That would make so much sense… I struggle so much pouring from big gallon jugs and trying to get it on the dot.... i’m totally going to try this… Probably not gonna try this technique for quite some time definitely gonna do the squirt bottle thing! This was awesome and it came out so beautifully! I definitely need to get some more swirling under my belt before I try this ❤️❤️❤️
Aww am so much eager to try makin such soaps😍..but I hav a doubt here, isn't titanium dioxide harmful?? Can it be added in such organic products? Pls suggest
I like your videos
I want to know the difference between cold process, hot process and melt and pour process?
Melt and pour is already saponified (usually) commercially made soap that can be melted, colored, and fragranced. No curing time is required. CP soap is made the way I made it here. 4-8 weeks curing time is needed. For HP soap, extra heat is applied, and it forces the gel to happen in the pot. It is usually made in a slow cooker or crockpot. HP soap has a different texture. You can't design with it as you can with CP soap. It has more of a rustic look. Some people use it right away or after a week. I like to cure it longer than that.
Thank you for another lovely and informative video! Your soaps always come out so beautiful!
There is a question I have I don't thiink I've ever seen you answer, though if I've missed it, forgive me. Since you pre-disperse your colorants in oil, how do you calculate that in? Do you reserve that much olive oil out of your overall oil weight and just ballpark that the oil you add via the colorants will get close, or do you just add extra oil via the colorants and find it doesn't matter in the long run? I've seen some people say that it's better to use water instead of oil because the extra water is less likely to hurt the recipe than the extra oil, and wanted to know your thoughts.
I add the oil in addition to the batch oils, and it doesn't hurt the recipe. It adds to the superfat. I don't use water because it needs to be stick blended in to be well mixed, and stick blending causes acceleration. I need my batter to remain fluid while I work, so I mix the colorants with oil, and they are easy to stir in by hand.
@@TreeMarieSoapworks Thank you! That all makes sense. I will not worry about it so much then.
These are stunning. This was my first challenge and I struggled lol I had a hard time getting my lines to break thru all the way to the bottom, but I see yours didn’t go all the way thru either, they went further than mine though. I wonder if I was expecting it to fall to far thru lol.
Lol, yes, mine doesn't either. I was afraid if I poured from so high so that it would reach the bottom, I wouldn't have any batter left over for the top. So glad you joined the Challenge!
Tiffany Wyatt I was thinking of doing the next challenge but I’m scared I’m not ready, as you are a soap challenge newbie I’m hoping you can let me know how long you have been soaping for,
@@lilyp6910 I haven't done the soap challenge, but they have a section where they recognize the best soaping newbie. The qualifications for that are, if I recall correctly, the individual must have only made soap for less than a year and made less than a certain number of soap batches. I just looked and the Best Soap Newbie for the April challenge entered 3rd batch and was recognized for it.
What are the measurement for all the ingredients
Can I use color food for soaps? What color are you useing? Is it safe for the skin?
No, it is not suitable for soap making. It would be best if you got your colorants from reputable soap supply companies. Nurture Soap is excellent with color. Mad Micas is great too. Most of the colorants I use are from Elements Bath and Body.
Hi, what temperature is yors lye solution and oils right before putting them together?
85-95 degrees F (29-35 degrees C)
Can you please let me know what you used for bevelling. Any link to purchase
I just use a vegetable peeler. I put my thumb on the blade so it doesn't wiggle as I bevel the edge.
You have a lovely voice! This design resembles a feather :) btw what’s that tool that looks like a butter knife?
Thank you so much! The tool is an artist palette knife.
Out of curiousity, when you say Elements “provided” you with the scale and things, do you mean they sent them to you for free? Or is it just an affiliated link? Or do you just shop there and are promoting them? I was just wondering if utube soapers could get stuff like that? I think that’s actually kinda cool and should be like that
I worked freelance for Elements. They provided supplies because I made tutorials and tested supplies for them. The videos came later.
Hi sweetheart
It is so nice to see you again ❤🥰
Thank you, my friend! 💝
I miss you and your videos sweetheart 🙏❤🥰
Uggh, all the cool designs are done with a slab mold. All I have are loaf molds.😢
I understand; I do have a video on making your own slab mold from a cardboard box if you're interested.

@@TreeMarieSoapworks youre very welcome. Do you or is it possible to make a specific shape?
😊 I don't make specific shapes unless I have a silicone mold for it.
@@TreeMarieSoapworks i mean the way you do the colors with the wood sticks
for this Soap Challenge, we had to do it a certain way, but you can do the colors and swirls whatever way you want. I can't wait to explore lots of different swirl patterns and colors! I have so many ideas! 😊
