Well that was 1990 and so, 34 yrs later, some of us still don't want to drive an electric car. I suspect the reasoning is different from that suggested.

40:45 Glad to know I’m not alone in choosing one-hour detours to avoid spending fifteen minutes stuck in traffic.

15 people died every day in the UK traffic back then? Insane numbers, funny how it was just accepted and not even considered something deeply wrong.

Paul made a difference. A decent bloke who had a positive impact. The total figure of drivers trained via Drive & Survive and his work with Prodrive must be quite something.

The part at around 41:00 talking about getting people out of cars is very interesting given how things are today.

1:40 Something gives me the impression that Rowan is on the spectrum. I suppose you could get that impression from much of his work but I was already familiar with (and I absolutely loved) his work long before I came to any understanding of the autism spectrum so it never really occurred to me until this moment.

I have a friend that knows him. He's incredibly shy and awkward but gets around it using humour.

Very interesting, just to see the perspectives they had. Mr Green Peace Guy, I'm sorry, we chose the toilet. I'm very happy we have improved safety and effeciency at least.
