My favorite counter to gravistars are miller's, with an aurora. Something about heating and exploding parts off with perk shots is kinda op
Gravastar is super fun, i am working on a bosozoku style racecar art build with gravastars and chameleon mk-2 on a cockpit. I pick the cockpit because it is the only affordable cabin of which is 3 pins tall. But eventually i will swap the cockpit with the kami.

I actually spent around 3400 saved up coins to spite hovers and bought Yokais.
Now I'm grinding. EVERY. single. DAY to master them perfectly. Flooring a hover boy > Orgasm
Yesterday, I had a match where I played around with three Trombone + Pyre brothers and they didn't have a good time at all. One floored, one killed, and the third one finished by the team. SATISFACTION.
Hover builds suck if you don't have upgraded cabin for power, upgraded engine for power, each hover upgraded for acceleration. After ALL of that then and only then they become OP. That means their straight late game. Otherwise any Draco, firebug, harvester, breaker, hammerfall build will destroy you in less than a minute. They move over 100km, they hook you... you die instantly. The nerf to their speed is going to ruin hovers all together. They should just delete them. People would use tracks but they suck, need a huge buff to speed and spider builds are tanks but slow and lose to all builds I mentioned and those builds don't need to be upgraded to slap all day long.

Reasons why Hovers are bad for the game:
- Hovers let you essentially ignore the difficulties of traversing the map, which is a massive part of the game. This also means they're too forgiving, letting you immediately recover from bad placement. The game should punish players that mess up, but hover players aren't dealt this punishment.
- With hovers you can move in any direction at any time at max speed, whilst also being able to simultaneously aim in any direction. This just makes fighting them frustrating, and not even because its necessarily difficult, just because it feels like they're playing on easy mode. Its like a movement part made for games journalists.
- More of a personal thing, but 90% of hover builds look the exact same, with ugly spaced armour, the weapons mounted next to each other at the back etc. Its like every person looked up the same generic "CROSSOUT - Easy how to build meta vehicle guide" and copy pasted. Its a big reason why clan wars and high level play doesn't interest me... the "cars" all look like ass but more importantly: are no fun to destroy (visually).
They are like mosquitoes, fast , nimble as hell at any direction , even it climbs mountings and big rocks like it's nothing , therefore these meta hover builds have a big weakness the cabin is exposed behind entirely .
They should add a map where hovers can do like 15% of fight, and on the map like this tracks and augers would be best. (Yeah, i am talking about a hilly map where hovers can't go up and need to go on special, long and best visible road, while heavy tanks, auger vehicles, trucks and spiders will do all the work and decide on who wins.
- Fire puddles affect them less
- They can easily float over acid and the fire lake on Factory and Clean Island maps
- They don't get stuck on drones
- Getting rammed by teammates on accident only messes up their possible next shot
- They can fly over enemies instead of being pinned

Nasty build....and i meen nasty...gravastars are annoying to play against with a lot of these flashy things that hurt commin towards you....combine that with a couple of hovers and a player that is skilled with em...allmost enough to rage-quit.....hahaha....loved watching people get wrecked by it tho!!!....thanks for sharing and keep it up JB!!

help I'm new there is a mission that tells me that I greeted or eliminated 2 in my garage but no one appears how do I do it please help
add some friend from crossout and then you'll see them appear in your garage as AI targets. add 10 random players or something and you should be able to do that easy
Everyone seems to be using the yo drones now you can't get in a match without them I use them myself sometimes but running around and hiding isn't fun all the time I see them getting nerfed soon because everyone has seen how easy it is to find that sweet spot pw score and use them for easy high points.
Hovers themselves arent the problem, the ability to make them very tanky and still keeping the agility and speed of a hover is bonkers, one simple fix to reduce the hover effectiveness is to revork the armor mechanics

Did you still experiencing stuck on lobby screen when getting matched?. I'm always stuck on the "waiting for other players" session. And experience some rubberbanding while waiting for the game to start. Every update, doesn't fix this problem
85% of my PVP games are like this. So frustrating. Don't get me started with raids... I always waste all my fuel trying to finish one.
@@qfkaiser5345 Yeah. 9 out 10 of my match is face this issue. I'm even trying using lobby against bot enemy cuz i think not many players play that lobby and the matchmaking could be faster. Unfortunately, it doesn't change anything

Hovers need their own PVP mode - hovers vs hovers and pulled out of normal PVP matches, they are okay for clan wars as well because most players use hovers in this mode, don't want to annoy hover players and say they should be ditched from the game just banned from normal PVP as they just have too much of an unfair advantage in most situations, hover players say that it is just a skill issue

I hated hovers at first when they came out and I just started using them again and to me they are great the only problem is I operate them like I'm drunk 😂 seriously I need more practice.
The agility of hovers and effectiveness of spaced armor is killing the game for me.
The only way around it is to add weight to armor so put on a long arm it snaps the thing it is attached to. That is the very reason it doesn't exist in real lift and the best or perhaps only way to stop it in this game. Ain't gonna happen. Edit: also armor should only add like 1/3 to your total durability, and decrease the effectiveness of gun mounts and buggy floors etc. How does an armor part 5 foot away from your vehicle help your hp if someone hits the cabin? It's so dumb.

I one shotted a hover within seconds of a match with the TOW. So satisfying. If we were able to control the TOW more (like flying up and down) I think people would use it more.

@sebastianturkot4567 I tried it earlier this week at 4.5k. Made me a little special forces buggy out of the duster cab. I'll drop the ps a bit more and try it again.

Ad like an extra energy count for hovers like, you have a cab with 60 base hovering energy and one hover Costs 5 energy and the more you built in the less Mobility it gets

hovers need to be fast and very light, not how they are now
I haven't found any hover build that I like.. they are unstable anything can easily knock you around and most of them have very limited firing angles and the one that have ok firing angles have there weapons exposed so you can shoot those off plus the durability sucks.. Mech legs are better but slow too slow. Also there are some who use this cronos I think I spelled it correctly but it basically is cheating. Then we have people like this person who has everything given to them in the game when the rest of us have to pay or grind.
There is a few with doubt, but many claim are just bad players 😅 (Cactus 🌵 message history with low league players says it all)

Or rather by the time most players get to making hovers, they have a grudge against them cause they got killed by hover players sooo many times already so they refuse to play with them... another % of theplayers embrace the hovers for the same reason but more like "to beat the hovers you gotta become the hovers".. and the last group of players quit for the same goddamn reason... thats the crossout player base in a nutshell here AMIRITE?
jb should really do this with 2 thunderbolts or 3 maces with catalina, and use buggy wheels as armor on the hover

You should show that night you were using evans mandrakes with that team of 4 or 5. I think that was Nameless Tower. That was a really good example of what hovers can do even against a team of 4 or 5. The manuvaribilty kept me from getting hammered with your drakes and your team couldn't out maneuver me and the arbs + catinlina 10 shredded everyone in seconds. The map plays a HUGE roll though, being able to move and not bounce all over the place really helps. especially breaking line of site.

Well what can we say, great video buddy, and seriously shows how broken hovers are, it's inertia that's the problem, there isn't enough on the hovers in my opinion, it should be taking a lot more effort to stop and/or turn

The imbalances in crossout is what made me stop playing the game in the 1st place. The power score system they have in place is a effing joke once you hit 7k and up it throws you into matches vs 14k PS try hard meta builds. Ticks me off to the point of ware I am like, this is effing stupied and will just close the game mid match and not touch it for months. Don't even get me started on pack only parts or rediculis build requirements that inforces pay to win marketing.

Best Purple Shotguns tho thats for sure. i have 2 fused tho and i still dont feel like using it. only good with other shotgun teammates that you can follow. = p2w TEAMERS which is the worst part about crossout. p2w i can deal with. p2w and teaming well solos cant win 90% of the time vs that.
They need to remove aim to steer, this is crossout not call of duty.....

This mounting is bad, with the horseshoe hover meta and machine guns everyone is using. This build is only good for bullying noobs, anyone that's played for a while will strip these gravs from across the map.

the problem is hovers have FAR more mobility and then you add on the stupid pass-thru parts gimmick with the long builds. Then you end up with a hover with effective HP similar to other builds but lighter\wayyy more mobile. Its pretty stupid\broken and needs massive balancing. I think the pass-thru parts getting "fixed" might help significantly with the balance but we shall see. I personally dont have hovers and dont know that I will get them. I might get some omni's soon though and try those out.
I hope and soon the hovers die, that they put them in pieces that are prohibited in pvp and CW or directly eliminate them from the game, death to the hovers!
Aw Man No more hover changes. I switched before the ps nerf and it already threw me off. I mean i understand but they also should’nt make them unusable. Cmon

@@arbuzz111 at 4kps your wheels have 100 durability and you always find yourself stranded... it's insane I played at my friends house last night and he's new, there were a duo running sinus-o hovers just dominating every game. You could say yeah they can do that with any build but no, it's bonkers the blatant, clear advantages hovers have at every ps level. And I refuse to play them because of that.

Tbh the game is annoying at the start especially with hovers. like as a newer player your limited by the amount of money you got meanwhile the people your going against have every possible advantage they can have against you simply for playing longer and having more coins. It just doesn't feel as fun or even fair even though when your build is the same PS as your opponents.

I have observed that the gravastar would always fire when it was exactly ready again but you didn't hold down the key to do it that accurately, some people use a tool that is not allowed by gaijin. It's a shame you resort to such methods, you should be ashamed. I've had you on my screen for many years but now you have one less subscriber.Too bad!
I don't understand the hover thing, anyone who's actually flown knows there's so many things that can easily destroy you, I think its fairly balanced now, yes they have mobility but they ain't mobile once u lose one side or the front hovers get ripped off so ure face planted and can only shoot the ground. If they change them further it will make them unusable. They already fall off when u sneeze, hell if u put a lacerater facing upward, just one, and run underneath a hover guess what they not hovering anymore, so y is it necessary for another nerf ? If u can't take a hover out at this stage in the game all ya gotta do is, Get Better, it is a game, not everyone is gonna get a trophy for showing up. It is meant to be challenging and adaptive constantly, and I think that's where everyone gets it twisted cause not everyone can be great, heck there's a few that are only good because of certain addons, so again y is it necessary for a nerf?
