I honestly can't tell any difference with the Steppe Spider. I'm cool with another cab catering rockets, but I feel like the Steppe SPIDER should definitely give another benefit to mechanical legs somehow and nothing else. It was dumb you had to sacrifice a cab just for +10km/h so I'm glad it got changed, but it needs a better more suitable change. Otherwise its a sting to players to call it the Steppe Spider, at least for me.
Regarding the omni wheels:
Before they change physics, they were accelerating slowly in 1 direction but stopping instantly… now they are linear.
Steppe spider AND ghost catching Gaigen love? Nice.
I don’t like the perk change for steppe spider… i needed that 10km/h
What should i use instead of steppe spider now?
Important: steppe spider does not work for pyres and hurricanes… only for unguided rockets
I'm so happy you made this video. I just keep trying to stress to players that the new chance is great. I have invested heavily in crickets and steppe spiders. It seems like they want rockets to be a thing but not to strong. So it makes sense to come out with a cap for rockets.

JB you HAVE to try out Steppe cabin + Heathers with 4+ Bigrams (and either Jay for precision and projectile speed or atitlan for ammo and damage + blast radius), its a friggin death beam if you land the shot on top of someone

I never noticed any difference with the steppe cabin, and as for the sluggishness, yes I agree but you have to slow down and stop in one direction before you can go in the opposite, that's what it looks like they have done, overall another great video buddy 👍
You should have a series where you check out subscribers' builds! I love your videos, but I only have a few teal parts and weapons... Its hard for new players to get the higher tiers.

I've always loved Crickets. I have a set fused for reload. Funny though, at close range my fused Wasps slap harder lol. I have them all and I'd say Crickets are probably my favorite and what I am most worried about on the other team. Especially when they get a spawn shot on me across the map with that fn perk. Take half the build if they're lucky.
Hopefully they are testing the dashing and maybe later on adding it
Bind each cricket to a different key then fire one at a time in fast succession to charge atilan faster

A side dash for the ML200 will risk to see sideways builds, and we don't do that here in Crossout ;)
I haven't been using my golden eagle with omni builds as I thought it was just for tracks and augers. I have been using colossus as I only ever have 4 omni's, so the colossus perk is also useful.
Well this is strange, My acceleration is definitely slower with the golden eagle than the colossus, ever when i make my vehicle a bit lighter. But top speed is higher with golden eagle. This may not be the case if both engines are used far under the tonnage limit though, I will test them.
The Steppe Spider's perk is to change it's perk🤣
what we need is like a piston thing like in minecraft. so you can pop up a shield in front on your weapons. it can cost 1 energy or free but only 2-3 allowed. it wouldnt be op

how do we get you to play our builds on your next live stream?
During the fusion event I was tempted… I had 6 Crickets that I had accumulated…. kinda regretting not jumping on it.
It’s best to fuse crickets for projectile speed so it’s good u didn’t waste ur coins fusing them.
Have you tested this with snowfalls? Snowfalls are known to have such insane damage, but have incredibly slow rocket speed and drop. I think this cabin with omnis and three snowfalls will be amazing!

Does the cabin affect the avalanche? The avalanche shoots a giant rocket, I don’t see why not

It seems like strppe does not actually work on heathers tow missile or nest but I see the biggest difference with waltz
Seems to NOT Work with the flute (have same damage in damage Meter with Steppe and with deadman) but works in pyre.

They made the Omniwheels, meat grinders, etc super sluggish a while back, then never bothered to fix them. I never see meat grinders being used now.
I have made low powered vehicles specifically to fight weaker people but lately online I keep getting thrown into huge veterans fights with huntsman cab truck with one decent weapon. Same end result , I get fraged .
What about those 7k-8k meta rocket spooders from back in the day, they were everywhere... Bet they'd be decent now since you still keep the speed...

Im pretty sure it only works with non aimable rockets
Steppe specifies that only *course* rocket launchers work. So nothing that homes onto the target etc. Also you were looking at the tech tree wrong - you need to read orange type names, not white. So in short steppe now only affects Wasp, Pyralid, Locust, Snowfall, Waltz, Cricket and nothing else.
It's basically the reverse perk of an icebox mixed with better torrero and dusk perks, but just for course rls (wasp, pyralid, locust, cricket, maybe 2 others idk)
@@vietanh7048 Dusk only affects homing missiles, so Pyres and Hurricanes only. Imo it would be better if steppe buffed projectile speed but for ALL projectile type weapons - that includes cannons, autocannons etc. It would be much more versatile instead of being locked to 6 different rocket launchers
@@Revvnar I know what dusk's perk is , hence the part "but just for course rls". Also ye, more diversity between projectile launchers would make steppe way more viable

fire rate is not the same as projectile speed. The main problem with crickets is the fire rate...it's so slow and people just move out the way.
Sadly, the cabin don't affect the homing rockets...

jb man it does not work on the heather, tow or guided. rocket launcher is both a category and sub category. I believe the waltz is classed as a rocket launcher. look at the yellow text XD i am at work so cant look which one is a rocket launcher
heather is a rocket artilery, not a rocket launcher as example

Hovers are officially dead. Super wobbly plus that shit tonnage.
Not really the red hover now have the perfomance of the old blue hovers. So low to the ground, stable and max speed of 75

Great, I fused the fucking cabin for its effect one year agoo and now they changed its fucking effect to one I cant use couse I dont play whith rockets. At least they should make a motor for legs and hovers and also nerve hover stats back to its original form.
Rockets are boss if you git gud. I blow my face off, or loose the launcher, but volley the wasp closing with mace and melee, usually you drive straight through the op.
