Kia sent 1500 to the United States in August alone. That's insane they only sent 500 total to Australia.

Great review of the Air version of this car!!!
But at least here in Spain, the KIA EV6 Air price is way cheaper than the Tesla Model 3.
And I find it to be much more visually attractive and family-friendly too.
Undoubtedly, this car is a great effort from KIA!!! And I think that the entry level is just fine for most users 👍🏻

Here in NZ the Kia EV6 is much more expensive than the Tesla Model 3 and to get the same specs you need to buy the Top Spec EV6 which here in NZ is $111,000 and the Tesla Model 3 is only $74200. Even the lowest spec EV6 is $77990 and it is very basic.

@@sheryltrainor3784 Just curious why you think the lowest spec EV6 is basic?

@@brendansmith4136 This base model EV6 is $75,990 + ORC which is about another $1100 so it will be $77,090 in NZ It only has a 394k driving range, It has No heated seats or steering wheel, no blind spot Monitor, No. panoramic view camera, No adaptive High Beam and 0-100 in 8.5 secs! To get those things you have to buy the top spec which is $111,990. I can buy a Tesla Model 3 for $76,943 incl On road costs which has more range, is faster and has all of those missing things except the 360 camera but at least it has Blind Spot Camera view.

Would like kWh/100k on the Hume at 110kph to get a real sense of energy use on a road trip

model 3 is a sedan, and this is a compact SUV or very large hatchback the correct price comparison is with the more expensive model Y.

I Wanted one of these but felt in places it looked cheap and no style EG style of seat very basic heater/radio dials door panels, wheels. Take a look at the cupra Born I know its smaller and slower than the EV6 AWD but also a lot cheaper

Why compare to model 3. That’s a sedan.

It’s pricey compared to other EVs. In the US, its priced below Teslas.

In NZ the cost of this EV6 is more expensive than the Tesla Model 3 standard range, and it has no heated seats or steering wheel, no BSM, to name just a few so the Tesla is better value for money as far as I am concerned.
