The french were partners with the Indian's in the fur trade the English wanted the land for farms when England won the war and France was booted out the Indians lost the best friend they ever had and well the rest is history we all know what happened next

What about natchez, foxes, and lakota, and Five nations league? In my opinion, they liked the english more.Don't forget also that ottawa were disliked by lakota sioux, but the french supported them anyway.Later France supported pawnee who were cruel to cheyenne, and some anglos were shocked by this.Chickasaw sold the native slaves to Carolinas.
