Many of the talents that appeared in the past three years aren't used with offline tournaments yet. The atmosphere and pressure is completely different.
Sharky is a spectacular commentator.
Thanks for the complement. I try my best
Facts, I think he is my favorite Tetris commenter.
@@Rejinx i really liked jonas and heather's commentary. for a year or 2 they both commentated for some ctwc matches and they were both way better than half of the full time commentators at the time. i remember once this commentator kept talking about stupid, random things and not even talking about the matches, and jonas there as a guest commentator kept having to steer the focus back to the match. i was excited for them to become full time commentators, but sadly we never got to see that happen.
sharky is always focused on the matches too obviously so he's not one of the bad ones i was talking about. that one that was commentating with jonas was horrible. there were a lot of comments mentioning his terrible commentary but i forget what his name was.
17:01 Yo Doge just randomly having conversation with Vandy and gets out of this dig no issues spectacularly holy crap lol
I feel like I should be over this by now...but it still blows my mind to see these players playing well into the kill screen.
1:23:14 I counted 37 pieces during that drought for an I piece. That’s that bs that makes us slam controllers.
I think it’s super smart of all of these players playing live tournaments prior to CTWC even if they’ve qualified. The distractions of live are huge and time delays. Smart to get adjusted.

🤩 TETRIS AT THE END!!!!
Watching dog reacting on Andy’s mess up is a very funny
Dog cool as a cucumber. Seriously I thought he was going to nap there between lines. Ya know, eat some nachos, drink some suds, read a magazine.
That Kingsman callout was legit
28:00
I wanna see pictures of Dog's room. Is it a complete mess or is everything organized as neatly as his stacks. Wow.
He streams quite a lot, you can judge for yourself
Спасибо за Тетрис
Andy and Doge first game kind of monster
I fucking love Sharkie
Im happy Tetris competition has grown but I miss the early days. It felt more like friends just hanging out having fun…it feels different now.
Still now, like friends having fun, only problem is dog brothers' shit face when losing.
We need more programmers in Tetris competition, I've been spoiled by the data Trey's program provided
Anyone knows what the dollar amount up at the corner is for?
that was the crowdfunded prize pool for this event through matcherino
does joseph(jdmfx_) play in the 2022 ctwc?
God damn, how tall are Fractal and Sharky?
Sharky is 9 foot 3 or something close to it
I'm 6'4"
You should see tugi
Doge wearing a mask
We need Sharky commentary so when someone is a little high he can comment how they’re gonna get out instead of panic commenting when these demons are high on 16 🙃
I disagree. If anything it's the other way around. In the last round a player had a drought and was clearly going to top out but nobody reacted until he had, because everyone thinks these players are superhuman, whereas Sharky recognises when they are probably defeated and reacts accordingly with panic.
Both of you have valid points. The truth is that yes while players are truly capable of digging out because of their movement speed of the pieces, execution is huge. It takes one small mistake, whether it be a piece going to far, a double rotation or lack there of. A good majority of situations are diggable but all it takes is one wrong move to take a diggable situation into a guaranteed top out
@@Dredgmonkey I see what you’re saying, I’m just saying at the times when it is not a 30+ piece mega drought or when someone just slightly miss drops it gets a little high with very clear burns these kids are just very comfortable in that lane. A bunch of the other commentators not exactly Sharky and Vandy do a lot of panic at commentating at a slight missed drop or when things start to get a little high, and to be honest it’s just not very soothing to the ear. I love Sharky’s commentating because of the intensity of it and because of the gradual buildup of potential panic not just immediate holy shit the game is over because a piece got missed dropped or someone is more than half the screen high.
The more I type this the more I realize I could be being very petty or preference based lol
Where’s Joseph at?
This was a qualifier in Austin, Texas; JD lives in cali. JD has also been busy with college
Yrs
I need more Sharky commentary. After listening to Sharky announce a game, anything else is just mediocre.
I will be at CTWC commentating matches and I do commentate matches for my own events on twitch
Lmao so bad ..he play very safe ..you cant win like this ,like a player like fractal
1:36:59 "not aggressive".
Just about any other player would have burned there.
3...2...1... TEXAS!
Dude was trying to sell it like a used car.
