- Our first trip in our newly converted van, we travel to Somerset, Dorset and Devon in search of rare birds, with some surprises, an unexpected Mega rare American tern and a new lifer, its an easter birding spectacular!
Glad neither of you got 'bittern' by the grass snake 😊
I was at Ham Wall last Friday, it was my first time there. I saw the Garganey, Glossy Ibis and the Spotted Redshank. Some Ring-necked duck had been reported but I didn't see them. We also saw an Otter which was another first.
Nonstop rarities! Your hard work certainly pays off! Amazing video as always!
Thanks Jordan, we really appreciate that.
Ham Wall had Cranes last week
Hi, another interesting video. I live in mid Dorset so most of these locations are my local birding spots. Surprised you didn’t try for the yelllow browed warbler which had been showing near the Dorchester sewage works for a while - you must have driven quite close on your route to/from Portland.
Excellent first trip out in the new van! Really nice light showing so many birds off well and the grass snake too! Well done both of you!
thanks Tony, it was tiring, but great to be back in a van!
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures You definately put in some road and foot miles!
Brilliant footage as usual and well on your way to your target 👍 side note the little egret is actually a breeding plumage great white egret
Cool, thanks
