- We travel up to the north east coast searching for a rare little American bird that showed up in a Hartlepool housing estate. we look for a scarce breeding grebe, and try and find a really rare vagrant shrike. What a weekend!
Congratulates on finding the Shrike. What a beauty!
Lovely Dark-eyed Junco.From 🇨🇦
Great to bump into you pair at Anderby Creek. I really like your posts and that you appreciate all the birds not just the rarities. Good luck on your total
Lovely to meet you both on your walk back from the junco, pleased you made it to St Aidens and Anderby Creek for the shrike. Excellent content as always ,always informative and no pretence. Yes I managed to get the junco too
Well done on persevering with the Shrike! Really enjoy your adventures, thanks for sharing.
I saw a female Woodchat shrike at Rainham marshes today. It was my first Shrike of any kind. They're fantastic birds
Excellent video
What a lovely and wholesome video, congratulations on the woodchat shrike Kayleigh! It is one of my favorite birds!
Every upload you make is perfection. There hasn’t been an upload I haven’t enjoyed. Keep up the work
I was 2 years old in 1998! So cool that you've seen a junco again after all those years! Amazing video!
I love this! As an American I see dark eyed juncos all the time and seeing someone so excited to see one makes me smile. They’re cute little birds. I wonder if British birds (except starlings, house sparrows, or pigeons) ever come over here. Probably not to the west coast where I live.
That was a great video and brought back memories of the Chester junco in 98.
Can you do a Cuckoo hunt video? I love your great vids!
we do need to find a cuckoo for the year list, so that may happen.
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures They are one of my favourites, I love the sound, I've been trying to get photos for a couple years now, there is a place where I see a lot, but very tricky to get photos
Are there seriously only 30 records of woodchat shrike in the UK? Here in the Netherlands we get about 1 to 5 a year 😮
More turn up, but it takes a while for the records to be accepted.
What app do you use for alerts on these birds.
No way me and my lass was there, we thought it was you, I was going g to ask but wasn't to sure
where?
