This small Bicycle Pump works with both presta and schraeder valve types and has a built in pressure gauge. It comes with a mount so you can mount it to the water bottle cage bolts on your bike frame, but I typically just put it in my pack so there is less stuff on my bike. This pump has replaced the other pumps that I used to take, as it is small, lightweight, has the pressure gauge built in and is well built. Check it out at the link above!
I bought a new one last month. I used it today. It performed excellently and got us out of a bit of trouble... Just like it's supposed to. Good stuff.
Thank you so much for this clear review of this pump.
I was already to buy it, but then I read the problem it has with unscrewing Presta valves!
I did a couple of things that solved the problem. I bought Presta to Schrader valve adapters and Presta cores and a core removal/tightening tool
Great pump. Works really well on my 29er presta valves. No issues what so ever. The guage is meh. I usually go by feel or firmness on my tires. Save yrself the extra dollars and get no guage. No guage has even more of a flexable hose.
I was about to buy this bit I'm glad I watched this video first. The guage is useless for lower pressure mountain bike tires. I went with the cheaper one without the guage.
I appreciate that YOU don't use the bike mount but would've been good to see how it mounts and whether you could still use a water bottle beside the pump.
Thanks for clear explanation need to get one had a problem at the gas station pump since I have a presta valve .
This does work, although it works better on a standard valve. And eat your Wheaties before using...it is quite a workout inflating a tire over 50 pounds.
Agreed completely
I think it may be a tad easier to use, if the flex tube was screwed onto the wheel valve first. Then onto the pump afterwards? I have a similar pump and that method seems to work well. Thank you
HA now it's working! THANKS!
As mentioned by several others, it pulls the valve core right out of my Presta valve when disconnecting, and leaves me with a really flat tire!!!🤪🤪🤪
Me too. Piece of garbage
@@jfragghianti interesting! Actually my beef is with the use of Presta valves too.?My rims are way big enough to have Schrader valves, I think Prestas are too complicated!
@@33India6 I’ve kinda gotten used to presta valves but still hate them. I don’t understand why shrader valves needed to be tampered with.
@@jfragghianti totally agree!!!
@@jfragghiantiMoney grab no doubt 😮😅
Everting in your pack. Noting attached to the bike.
Great review man, love this channel
Nice and easy CLEAR explanation. Thanks man!
Thanks big help wish mine had the pressure gauge
Pulls my valve out every time on my presta. Even after I tighten them to an alarming degree.
I was just looking for new pump for my bicycle and this exactly what wanted!
I realize Im kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to stream new series online ?
@@keegancorey7750 what kind of series?
@Keegan Corey i would suggest FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
@Jameson Solomon Yea, I have been using flixzone for years myself :)
@Jameson Solomon Thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :) I appreciate it!!
Just got this for my mountain bike 😁🤙
I doing know why but EVERY SINGLE TIME i unscrew the hose form the presta, the whole darn valve core comes with it… whats the secret?!
Fantastic video my friend!
I would like to see how well the hose flexes when you're trying to pump up a Brompton wheel and the gauge doesn't fit if you keep everything in line including the gauge before bending.
is this a high pressure pump?
Thanks! Good video!
Thank you for this. I've been having a really hard time getting a seal with pumps with locking levers (which are probably called something else; I'm not an expert); I currently have 3 of varying qualities and only the cheapest one works, and it's falling apart and has no gauge. I was wondering why someone hadn't come up with something that just screwed on. It turns out I was looking on the wrong site; I found this on Amazon, as well as a few others. I need to look a bit further because I'd rather have a full-size pump with a screw-on connection, but at this point I'll settle for a hand pump, just so I can keep the tires inflated and keep exercising.
Have you ever had the valve stem come out when you unscrewed the pump? I had that problem with another similar pump. What’s the max pressure for the gauge?
Yes, I just had that happen. Apparently it’s a problem with other pumps as well. My other issue is pumping a tire on a road bike up to 100 psi. I’m not ready to give up on this pump just yet but I may need to start taking steroids to make it work.
Yes! Valve stem came out and wish I’d had pliers to unscrew it from the hose. Also a real challenge to get anywhere near 100 psi. 😅
@@BrunoTunes I recommendusing a Schrader adapter. I keep them on all three wheels of my Catrike!
I just wane thank you for this amazing info
Can you use this for dirt bike tires up to 15 psi?
This pump is great. Until you have to use it. It hates Presta valves. Ask me how I know. So far I have bought 2 pumps that don't work.... This one, The Bike Tool(that doesn't work)and a Silca Tattico(that broke). Any suggestions here for a quality pump.????
But he just showed it in this video,
it did worked on his Presta valve.
have you tried.. Air Tool Switch Comp Pump from specialized?
Topeak Race Rocket HP mini pump..
update? Do you still like it? Also do you think it could fit in a water bottle if I used a water bottle to hold it plus a tube to keep it water tight as a storage solution?
Good question about the bottle, I’ll have to check. I do still like it, however it does take a bit of pumping depending on your tires.
@ Noah Robinson. You can fit it under your water bottle holder. Here is the link czcams.com/video/F9wjaHAld5Q/video.html&feature=share
I bought this pump and don't get the pressure gauge with mine. Is that an upgrade?
I put 80 PSI in my tires so that would probably take 1 hr to fill or it may not even get near 80 PSI.
I have this pump and every time I unscrew the pump from the stem it unscrews the presta valve from the stem and I lose all the air and have to screw the presta valve back into the stem. What am I doing wrong?
me too - did you find a solution?
Fern Gordon I had to buy a new pump that attaches like my floor pump.
same problem, this is obviously an issue with this.
If just unscrewing this pump unscrews your valve core, it was loose already.
I believe u need to first make sure valve cores are tight , get a valve core tightener tool maybe, then also before u start screwing the pump on the valve, make sure u really push in the pump head so that it goes past the valve core threads
How much pressure can you achieve with such a little pump?
This pump is nothing but problems, screwing it in to the presta valve closes the valve and doesn't let air in, then when I unscrew the pump it unscrews the presta valve with the pump. It's very difficult removing the presta valve from the pump after it's separated from the tire's valve stem. It take plyers to remove the valve head from the pump... It's a nightmare to use. The directions this guy gives are wrong, TEST THE PUMP AT HOME BEFORE YOU GO ON THE ROAD.. I found you CAN NOT screw it deep into the presta valve, that will ruin your whole day. YOU CAN ONLY PRESS IT STRAIGHT ONTO THE VALVE THEN TURN IT A FEW TIMES, any more than that and you're remove the presta valve head when you unscrew the pump.
didn't realize it would keep unscrewing my valve..every time...waste of money!
This is nothing else but a rebranded Taiwanese Airsmith pump. Pro Bike Tool is just another brand, who owns no R&D, only sales and marketing departments.
Need experience about frame adaptor
Cool i guess i bought the shit cheap one without knowing despite there being only a $3 difference
Does it pump air in when pulling the lever out as well?
How could it pump when pulling on pump?
@@timunderwood2687 they do exist they are called ” Dual Action bike pumps “
Absolutely trash pump
