To my understanding technically speaking diesel Loco is also electric, because diesel Loco has big diesel generator, which in turn generates the electricity to drive the electric motors of the train engine.

Electric current can be produced by movement of electrons ( negatively charged) and holes (positively charged). It is convention in electrical engineering to indicate positive charge direction ( opposite to the direction of actual electron flow) as current flow direction. According to this convention current flows from positive terminal to negative terminal even though electrons flow from negative to direction.

      Bro, Few facts.
      1) Electricity is a form of energy capable of attracting electrons in matter.
      2) It is well known that Electric current is flow of electrons.
      3) In DC, flow of electrons is continuous, so there shall be a continuous supply of electrons.
      4) In AC, there is no continuous flow of electrons. Electrons vibrate back and forth at a specified frequency. The neutral or earth need not supply electrons continuously, it just absorbs and releases electrons within the peroid of one frequency. Any object having sufficient free electrons in its equilibrium state can act as neutral or earth.

In electrical distribution system star point in( Secondary winding)LV distribution transfomer is neutral, this point effectively grounded in substations.
Thus your house ground is technically in Neutral potential.
When you connect bulb between L-E . Energy flow from L to E, (your house earth) and returns to N Source grounding in Distribution transfomer.
    it's known as TNC-S system.
You may need to explore in distribution systems for more information.

3 phase. Neutral , star winding joint le ninnu thaan edukkuth.
    Not from ground at substation.
Also 11 kV line has 3 phases only , not a seperate line for neutral.
You can check transmission line outside to your home..
    I mean transformer input
3 phases of 11 kV is transmitted and induced into stepdown transformer ( 11 kV to 240 v) .
There is no neutral input .
    But output is there.
    Secondary side of the transformer.
It has no connection to substation

One small correct bro.. Electrons potential is negative. Ground potential is zero. So electrons are flowing from lower to higher potential. Direction of conventional current is from higher to lower potential.

You are presenting wonderful things in a way which is easily understood by a common man. Kindly pay a little more attention to pronunciation. Of course English is a foreign language to us. Your pronunciation of bulb sounds like bulp. Please do not mistake me. I am not finding fault. My only intention is to make your pronunciation flawless.

Oru China clarification bro, neutral is not taken from substation. Neutral line taken from individual distribution transformers and given to consumers...

    • @dpcruiser
      @dpcruiser Před 2 lety

Neutral is taken from generating station. The top wire in EHT line acts as a lightning arrester, communication cable and its main purpose is system neutral. The generating station alternator star point is grounded. And its taken through this system neutral. And the same system neutral is grounded at Substation, where is taken from distribution transformer. If the star connection in distribution transformer in not grounded meas the entire system will become unbalanced and it directly affect the generating station alternator winding.
