FOMO: The fear of missing out
We see a growing dependency on mobiles. People are using their phones for all kinds of things, but also seen is a rise in the usage of social media. The constant urge to update a status, put a picture, to show off a vacation, shout it out from the roof top if you got a raise and even the really mundane things like what you ate for lunch today. Is this addiction making us unlearn how to live in the moment and enjoy what we have? Do we forget to enjoy unless we get a certain number of “likes” on a status? Is external validation so important? BE SAFE brings to you an episode highlighting this need which is fast becoming an everyday addiction.
