Don J look it up, there's a difference
I wouldn't say shyness is based on lack of confidence as such. Take for example going red in the face if someone you like looks over at you. That's shyness. But being in a bar and someone is making eye contact and encouraging you to approach them, but you don't feel confident, well that's lack of confidence.
There is a difference, I look shy (I think) and girls like that .
I'm shy because I don't give a f about talking to girls (even if she's hot, I only try once and if she don't respond , i say bye (it' s not like she's the only girl on planet).
I don't talk to other people that much because I think i 'm on higher level (they call me egoist).
I don't have problem talking to others so I don't think I have lack of confidence but still I look shy to other people (shy/mysterious always get those words from others)
Hmm, that's quite interesting. I'd say the opposite is true for many cases as well. Guys who are constantly looking to hook up with women are merely seeking validation and attention due to a lack of true self esteem and self confidence. It's analogous to how truly wealthy people try to remain low key while posers are the ones who are constantly overextending their means just to look rich by wearing gaudy clothes and shouting from the rooftops "look at me, look at me, I'm rich."
It seems society has misunderstood true confidence with superficial confidence. True alphas don't need validation from the masses, including trifling hoes. They are above it all because they simply give no f's. True alphas define the game; the rest merely play the game.
Then again, the video never defined what they meant by "shyness." They could really have meant to refer to someone with no self confidence, so you're probably right.
M Done yeah I'm like that too. I don't talk much, don't have a problem talking though, just don't wanna talk with some people, especially dumb people. I cannot stand people who can't understand shit. other than that my hobbies are different from most people's hobbies my age (21). I don't go out to parties and clubs. Im into cars and I drift and race at the track and I'm usually working on my car in between track days. might be boring to some but the adrenaline on the track going 140km sideways is something you can't match.
Thing is shy people tend to be more confident with people they know, hard to explain but that's me anyway, I'm a different person around different people..

Girls really want is attention, if you don't give it to them as fast as possible then that particular girl will forever ignore you because they think in their minds that if the relationship happens, she wouldn't get much attention from you. If you think about it here is no need to be shy. When you understand this, you will stop shooting yourself in the foot. Your mindset is "I hope shell give me a chance" that is weakness.
