The fact that one of the first things he said was “I think you’re attractive” and the girl kept the conversation going has completely shattered my understanding of girls
It just cemented something that was pretty much known already: if you are seen as attractive, you can get away with things a non-attractive person wouldn't. Chris Brown beat Rihanna, and yet a lot of women still crave him. It's not a leveled playing field.
Because confidence is first perceived. The only things he said before he started initiating conversation were: A greeting; a weird, unrelating question about how attractive he'd be with a scooter; revealing that he lied about wanting a scooter; and then hitting the "I think you're attractive" line. She'd have no way of knowing his personality through those first four sentences. He's "confident" because he's attractive and not a stuttering fool. If someone built like Nikacado Avocado tried what this guy did: At best, she'd try her best to get the conversation back to strictly business, and at worst, she'd find him creepy and call security.

Introversion doesn't mean social anxiety or being bad in social situations - it just means you need more alone time to recharge your social battery. Never use introversion as an excuse to be bad at socializing, and you can be just as confident as Dylan is in this video.

In my case I have high anxiety issues, I'm always paranoid and I'm a introvert with trust issues. Still do fine with socializing irl and I've grown to have over 200 irl friends.

I wouldn't say it's neccessarily attractive, but it's very disarming. Approaching people with kindness in your heart by default makes your attitude towards the whole social interaction positive. Much less of the bad thoughts like "but what if they hate you, but what if they tell you to go a hike" and so on and so on. Why would anyone respond to kindness with negativity if they are a normal human being? If they respond with negativity, something is wrong with them or at least their day, and so nobody would have had a chance that day.

As an ex-introvert I'll set you straight. He said let's be gym bros because he couldn't think of a valid way to suggest anything else that indicated dating. He was nervous the entire time which I think was the biggest obstacle but he did well.

to be clear the first approach wasn’t HIM doing the work. Kudos to him for doing the approach but this is what natural compatibility looks like. Notice how it was effortless on both ends bc both parties WANTED to participate and engage in conversation. With the overlap in interests (fitness) it made it even easier, therefore creating attraction.
You cant hope to have this with every interaction and it’s important to know what actually contributes to an interaction like this.
So instead of “dude you killed it” its more like “dude you guys are a match”.
it’s dangerous to contribute the interaction to JUST him or you will think all interactions/results you have with women only have to do with your “game” and that you have some sort of obligation to muster perfect results with EVERY girl you talk to.

Some people don't think he's introverted because he was able to talk with Sophie and hold a decent conversation, but let me say this:
Even though he was able to do this, in his head he was most likely grasping for anything he could say to keep the conversation going; his heartrate spiked, and he wanted to leave the situation as fast as possible while still wanting to get her number. It's a very difficult task to perform as an introvert, and it puts so much stress on you to the point where you just have to take a deep breath after everything is over.
We can most certainly communicate with people, being an introvert doesn't mean you can't, it just makes it 10X more difficult.

If either one is not wanting to engage (or there is no vibe) then you can be as extroverted and smooth as you want but it's not going to go anywhere.

It depends who you are but ive had it both ways. A girl was uncomfortable when she was 21 and I was 18 and I felt weird when I was 18 and a girl was 16. I prefer older though. A lot of these 16 year old are hard to relate to with all the tik tok bs. I'm 19 now and ideally I'd go for 23-25.
