I just ordered this RPG and was wondering about solo rules for it. Big surprise the first thing I find is Geek Gamers. And as usual the content is absolutely stellar and awesomely helpful 🥰 Geek Gamers is my go to for stellar solo gaming techniques and ideas 🥰 Also - I now have my own wallet of tables collection - Love the idea - VERY helpful - Ty ty sooo much for everything 🥰

Agreed, and Free League has ported it into so many other games (some of which I covered). I'm doing Vaesen shortly, another game using the YZ engine.

Thanks for this and your other solo and tips videos. I bought your book and I'm working my way through it. It's a treasure chest of goodness. The solo videos are very helpful for many reasons, specifically to watch you implement the very concepts you state in your book. I love the story first approach to begin a solo adventure. I saw you taking notes in this video but haven't noticed that a lot in others videos. How do you use journaling or note taking when you're "free-wheeling" creatively? Thanks again. :)
My note taking is quite sporadic and haphazard! I don’t have any system and sometimes I don’t take notes at all

Thanks for the video! Which one do you like more - forbidden land or mutant year zero - given both are very similar?
You're welcome! I enjoy the setting/theme of fantasy more than post-apocalyptic, and thus as such I like Forbidden Lands better. That said, they are both similar as you say and do a great job with their respective settings.
@@GeekGamers01 I do like the fact that MYZ has one core book only. I think keeping everything in one book is easier for Solo RPGer than having 2 books (Player / Gamermaster) like Forbidden lands. Overall MYZ seem to have a better book layout.
@@MelvLee I also like it when the books are combined--Symbaroum does this too and it's great.
