    Yes you were 100% correct on top as the bottom. Very interesting way to line your mold. I also line my pringles canisters, but we use different material. I learned something from you today. I hope I can finish editing my video tonight or tomorrow so I can also share it with you. Hats off to you Christina.

    Would a tight rubber band work for holding the paper on both ends?

    I loved this video I am going to try your method. I have been using the flexible cutting mats to line both my pvc pipe and pringles cans but it does leave that lip/seam all the way down the soap where the mat meets. Very good easy to follow intructions!

    • @christinabutts32
      @christinabutts32  Před 6 lety

      Lisa Gregory thanks sooo much..and yes i used a impression mat once but like u said it left a deep seam all the way down lol

    This is a great video thanks for sharing but I would just cut it open and line it with clear box tape like you had then seal it back up with clear tape the bottom still intact easier that way

    You could make the fold for the first side before u put it in the mold. That way you can make sure it is straight. You can even cut the slits since you have the foldmark.
    Then do the other side just as you did in the video. Not done pringles mold myself, but just a thought!

    I used a can opener to cut my bottom off, tricky as the wheel of the can opener cuts into the cardboard a bit but it worked.

    thanks hun for posting that. I had just seen someone on facebook make soap with a pringos tin. but she didnt line it. she just tore it off lol. soap looked.good though. but I wasnt too keen on that, I was going to look on youtube for tips on how to line one lol. you just saved me doing that.lol. your way looks pretty easy to do. :-D
    btw, when cutting glade wrap (cant remember what you called it, cling wrap maybe?) but anyway lol. when cutting glade wrap, instead of using scissors its much easier to get a knife and just using the tip run it over (sorry if didn't explain that very well.lol) it wont cut the bench top, or leave marks on it. unless you press really really hard lol. irs soooooo much easier then using scissors :-D ill have to do a video when I make a soap using pringos tin hehe

      DB Soap awwww ur so welcome and yea when i posted my last soaps made with the can on fb alot of ppl said how do u line it but some said they dont use any liner.. to each her own but its cardboard aka thick paper so it soaks up some of that yummy oil plus i am to afraid to cut into or dent my soap when trying to take off the can lol ..hey u have a great day sweets and thank u for watching.. xo

      @DBSoap Před 7 lety +1

      You're more then welcome :D I just made a soap this afternoon, I wasnt able to get pringos ( explained in the video its self) But I did use your method to line what I used :D I gave you a shoutout in the video, so keep an eye out for that when I have added it ( hopefully over the weekend, otherwise start of the week sometime)

    Can freezer paper be reused?

  • @leesadexter7187
    @leesadexter7187 Před 4 lety +1

    This is for the lining of the Pringles can it would be easier to use a rubber band instead of the tape. If you put a rubber band in the middle of the can before you cut it all you have to do is just slide it up that's just a suggestion I'm going to try it tomorrow when I do mine I'll let you know how it went
