I tried using freezer paper to line a box I was using as a mold for beer soap, shiny side up, covered and put in the fridge for about 18 hours, took it out and unmolded, went to peel the paper off and the shiny side stuck to the soap and it was VERY difficult to get all the pieces off. I did this one other time, taking the mold out of the fridge after 12 hours and leaving it until that evening to unmold and got the same results. Not sure what I am doing wrong? Any suggestions?

@@thcounselor Not leaving the soap in the mold long enough. Unless you are using a severe water discount it should stay at least 24 hours. I use a 2:1 water-to-lye mix and always leave at least 24 hours. Hope you figured it out by now.

I too have a paper roll cutter. It's antique from my husband's Grandad's store. I love it. My trick is to have a length of string 24" long attached to the cutter bar so I know how long my paper needs to be...I only had to measure it once. Perfect length every time!

thank you for the video! do you grease the mold before lining the paper and do you use distilled water or pipe water?

BeastMaster228 I don't grease anything, what you saw is what I do! I always use distilled water

thank you. One more question, can you use pipe water if you want or is it better or usually recommended to use distilled water. Thank You in advance!
