Boni is indeed a Belgian brand. I’ll definitely need to visit that store. Funny thing is: they sell it as a renowned brand. But Boni is in fact the house brand of Colruyt, a Belgian low cost supermarket. Definitely very okay, but not what a Belgian would call a top of the line brand. They’re the cheap option in Belgium.

Beautiful store that feels very premium (as do the prices). But in Belgium you get the same products for a fraction of the price. Definitely nice as a Belgian in Uganda to go to once in a while to eat Belgian products, but too expensive for daily shopping.

Very cool. The price difference between local produce and imports always amaze me in Africa. 1 kg of prime cut beef for about US$ 10. Meat is 5-6x more expensive in my country. But the imported food is very expensive like in Kenya. ✌🏽 I miss Africa though
