This is what Ugandans in the diaspora do not understand about raising their children in the diaspora. Those children are not real Ugandans despite having Ugandan names and ancestry. Especially if those children do not speak/never learned any local Ugandan languages. If you want your children to be real Ugandans you have to raise them in Uganda. This woman is Canadian. She can never ever get used to life in Uganda. She is all about thrills and fun. Definitely that's not what Uganda is about. In Uganda people have real jobs to do, economic pressures to support families, poverty & illnesses. This woman's mind is in Canada. Girl, you need to do some gardening.

There are no high paying jobs in Uganda worth going to a hair salon for.

Awesome video. Enjoyed watching. It’s good that you mentioned the Blue Band billboard advert. I’ve seen same outrageous claims in advertisements across Africa. There is no regulations or truth enforcement governing bodies. Advertisers can and regularly make outrageous claims about substandard products, passing all crazy claims, especially in healthcare. It’s bad.

Hey, Rachael!!! 😀 I liked your response to her video. I think that most people have a hive mentality, and just jump on any particular bandwagon. For whatever reason now, it's cool to hate on Tiffany Haddish, and anything that she does. Like you stated, she was just being satirical, which most people to seem to not understand anymore, these days. Everybody seems so mf uptight now, you can't make fun of anything, anymore. I think that you're right; she was trying to debunk the myth of Africa, specifically Zimbabwe in this case, being backwards, and underdeveloped. Hell, you still have MANY Americans, specifically African Americans, who still see Africa as backwards, and filled with huts, and filled with utter poverty. Hell, that grocery store was more well stocked some some stores here in the US, for crying out loud!! I have been to several African countries and the major cities have grocery stores but compared to major cities in the US they def have a lack of grocery stores compared to cities with comparable populations. As many people still shop with local markets that have cheaper prices and more local produce.
