But the internet says that you can't stroke a 289!

I have a 1964 5-bolt 289 that I've stroked to 347ci with an Eagle forged steel crank, Eagle H-beam rods, and Mahle pistons. The popular sentiment on the internet is that 289's can't be stroked, and that 5-bolt blocks are only useful as boat anchors. This sentiment couldn't be more wrong.
