I've designed this model, and submitted it to Lego Ideas. To help it become a real Lego set you could buy, follow this link: ideas.lego.com/projects/5b3fb... and click the support button off to the side. You may have to create a free Lego account, and this shouldn't take too long.
For more information, please check out the link, but in short:
This testing chamber is EXTREMELY modular, so the builder can create almost infinitely many tests with just one set. You decide how to make the wires, where to put Aerial Faith Plates and Crushers, and how big to make your test chamber. The panels themselves are also very poseable.

It frustrates me of how little recognition this has. This is a set I would love to have. I wouldn't even care if it were overpriced, the amount of playability is totally worth it. Oh!! Would you mind making some of the clear plates from Portal 2? Also perhaps some of the black tiles, maybe the tiles with the gel splattered on them and tubes for companion cubes/gel? Even the window tiles where offices are, and acid pool tiles? This would also be a bit much, but would it be possible to add the hidden rooms behind the tiles, or even the maintainance platforms outside of the test chambers? It'd be amazing if you could add like overgrown tiles, the screen tiles that Wheatley uses, the turret cubes, defect turrets, lightbridges, and the laser cubes? I'm sure this is a lot, and might be a challenge with lego pieces. I just thought I'd generate some ideas.

This is like the original modular portal set, but far more developed. love it.
This video has 16,000 views but at the time i'm commenting, the set only has 3,214 supporters and this set looks very awsome so everyone and i mean EVERYONE needs to support this set so it can become an actual lego set!!!!!!!!
It has so much playability and being able to create your own portal test chamber is the best idea ever so, in conclusion, there is no reason to not support this set and if the reason is not having a lego ideas account well it's free so create one and SUPPORT THIS SET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After watching this I have become obsessed with Panels
They're SO cool, right? So poseable!
I can make slopes, turn panels into crushers for more posibility, have the walls slowly close in, and with the hall that you showed in the video ir could randomly crush you

ONE criticism, the turrets should be smaller. Otherwise it’s PERFECT
Agreed, the turrets are too large. With new pieces like roller skates, I'm optimistic they can look good and smaller.

Hi! It's been a while since I've checked in, so I wanted to see the progress you've made! I am a little upset about how you haven't reached 10,000 supporters yet : / but I'm so excited to see that you've added nearly everything (or all) I've suggested!! Better yet, improved upon previous designs. I couldn't have done it better myself and I'm so proud of you c: there's no way you shouldn't deserve to make this a reality!!! I would literally spend $200 on a complete set of every single design of every single detail added. It's just so cool and I really really hope it pays off!!!!!

Good thing about the cube (da frend cube) is that we already have a lego official model along with a lego official wheatly and chell, all we are missing is THIS right now and we might me complete (we still need a lego GLaDOs

You might even add the two Co-Op bots (with the colored thing on the end matching each robot's color gun), Doug Rattmann (With companion cube on his back). @Mypet Blackie had some really good ideas. Another cool thing would be another one of the all black minifigs from the promotional videos too, along with some of the props like a large diamond/chocolate box/flowers from the romance safety guide one. Maybe some dilapidated tiles with overgrowth and discoloration, and old high energy pellet launchers and receivers, along with the other laser shooters/receptacles. Also maybe some of those brown/black tiles that don't conduct portals, and incinerator, and some cores from both games (I know this isn't a GLaDOS boss battle, but it'd still be neat to be able to incinerate a core/companion cube. Rails and connectors for the cores so we can maybe have Wheatley watching over you. Maybe A fixed portal tile. Like in the first two portal games when you have the one portal only gun/no portal gun, and there are portal spawners with little things surrounding the portals for the generation part. Maybe you could just include the things that surround the portal on those tiles and we could attach them so you don't have to drive the piece count too high. Possibly one of the cylindrical cube/companion cube dispensary things, and you could put a turret or cube in there. Some last things: Boxed turret prop, Crap turrets, sphere things that can press down a button like in the co-op part, which means that a cube specific button and a sphere specific button would be in store. Maybe an old style door from portal 1 since they are different (and frankly that design is cooler to me). Some of those claw-arms like the one that put out the candle on the cake in the first game. And also a cake if that's not already on there. TV screens from Portal 1 GLaDOS's chamber (but just for like something else). I'd love to see the Curiosity core, Fact core, Space core, and Wheatley. Maybe the final angry core from portal 1 but it doesn't matter. Maybe the high energy pellet launcher could store some yellow studs, and you could attach a red lightsaber beam to the laser shooter, with the high energy pellet receiver also having retractable arms to show it having collected a pellet or not. Extra props/things could include gel pipes, gel tiles, Cave Johnson painting, various trophies from the first part of the lower Aperture chapters from Portal 2, neurotoxin pipes, etc. I have said this a lot, but actually the final thoughts: Maybe a triple faith plate like from multiple chambers, and finally: A bird with a nest, eggs, and PotatOS. Sorry for the ESSAY, I just thought of some things that would increase the price, but make it worth that price, obviously I don't want you to take ALL of these because that would be very tiring to anyone. And if you actually read all this, sorry lol.
if you're going to do any of those, you should also consider those moving clear-ish platforms that move when a button is pushed or something
Another possibility is selling a modular unit with a panel for like 5-10 bucks apiece on wish or ebay or something like that

In love this set and I am so much disappointed that lego didn't see the potential of that thing. But I think it's the coolest thing I ever seen so far. I really hope you find this comment because I am looking for the link to instructions and pices list. I try my own at my home, but unfortunately, its is not perfect and can't stand super hight.

If it's unsuccessful in gathering support, we'll definitely release instructions for all the elements. The end goal is to get this design to the fanbase! For now, we don't want to release instructions because there's always small tweaks and improvements going on, maybe in a little bit.
