As a person who has a fear of intense rides, like an intense fear of intense rides, I would recommend this to anyone. It’s really fun! It’s scary at first but then you just enjoy it and take it all in. The scenery is amazing! Very well themed! 10/10 recommended!
Universe Milkshake ride the incredicoaster, splash mountain, and also Space Mountain is a good one.
Universe Milkshake I went on this today and I am scared of intense rides,so this one,I put my hands up the whole ride with no fear at all.Its so less intense than splash mountain.

I was at Disney World in 1983 I think when there was a horrendous lightning storm. Afterward, there were almost no people in the park for a while so my cousin and I went on this ride over and over without any line. Fun times!

you really don’t understand how much i loved this ride. as someone who can’t handle going on big drops, this is the perfect ride for me. it has the smallest drops (barely) and it’s fast and all the wind blows in your face. people can get dizzy from this ride but i don’t get dizzy so it’s honestly perfect , love it
it’s so good, i HATE roller coasters but when i went to walt disney world i rode this 3 or 4 times. it’s so fun

For anyone who hasn’t ever ridden this ride, I will tell you now the track screeching at 0:57 is HORRENDOUSLY loud irl. But it kinda adds to the effect of the train being an old run down frontier-era train.
I went in February 2021 and can confirm that the screaming bats is horrendously loud.
I went in april 2022 and it sounds like gunshots 👍

my family mistook this for a kiddie coaster when i was like 6 and so that’s one of my first memories. i was a tiny kid and i literally felt like i was gunna be blown away...
My cousin managed to convince me to ride Expedition Everest as a 4 year old….I haven’t rode a roller coaster since 😅

My first time going on this ride was yesterday I’ve always feared roller coasters because of the feeling in my stomach when it drops but I actually had so much fun
Im scared of rides and roller coasters in general because I hate when my stomach drops but this one was so much fun. Definitely recommend it for anyone and if you’re scared just ride it, you won’t regret it! It doesn’t have any big drops and it doesn’t go too fast .

A little story about an experience I had with this ride: I was here for a band trip in 2016, and I lost my glasses on this ride. I remember I was freaking out for the rest of the night. Thank goodness they happened to find them, and they mailed it back to me within a few weeks. I guess what happened was that they fell out of my pocket into the floor of the train.

It almost happened to me on the Rock N Roll one but the classmate caught them by there legs
I’m a person who’s VERY VERY scared if roller coasters. I went on Rockin Roller, Everest, Space Mountain, and Tower if Terror (obviously that’s a drop but I consider it something of a roller coaster) and I’ve been traumatized since. This ride was a definite one you can have fun on and enjoy without worrying about the butterflies in your stomach or vomiting. I sometimes get scared at the lifting part through the cave because it makes you think there’s some big drop, but it’s just fun hills all the way down.
Indeed, the first hill (after the first climb) startled me but after that I had so much fun
Space Mountain in Florida is very intense, the one in California is a lot smoother. I got beat up riding the one in Florida, my knee was hurting, my lanyard broke, and lost my organs from a drop somewhere in the middle. None of which I experienced in California. Expedition Everest was probably the most intense coaster I’ve ridden on. I’ve never felt so many Gs on a coaster before. The backwards helix crushed me into my seat. It was a lot of fun for me and brother at least.

To anyone who’s wondering, this ride is perfect for people who don’t like heavy drops, or roller coasters in general. I would know, because I am one myself. It’s definitely more thrilling in person, but so much fun!

This was my 2nd roller coaster. I was 5 years old when I went to Disney. The year was 1996. I rode this, but because back then I was really afraid of the dark, I hated the very beginning in the cave and then getting splashed with water, I was screaming and crying, but by the time the ride was all over I wanted to ride it again, it was my most favorite roller coaster for the longest time. I somehow then at 5 wasn't afraid of a roller coaster, but the following year dad was going to get me to ride Lochness Monster with him at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and I was way too scared to ride anything at Busch Gardens. Now, I'm 29 and love roller coasters again. Have been on all but a few at Hersheypark, all at Lakemont Park, DelGrosso's and Playland's Castaway Cove. All but 1 at Idlewild and Kennywood. Been on most at Kings Dominion and only been on 2 at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I only rode 1 at Six Flags America when I went there I was still scared of roller coasters. When I was at Disney I wanted to ride Space Mountain with dad, but I wasn't tall enough. :'( So, I only rode this and Barnstormer while at Disney.
Went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and this and Space Mountain were my first ever roller coasters ever; and they’re the perfect coasters for beginners. Tons of thrills, but nothing too crazy (besides Space Mountain being completely dark).
I recently came back from Disney land and ride this 3 times in the same day! So fun, favorite coaster there. Also I love guardians of the galaxy!
Just rode this coaster today. I am someone who normally has a fear of roller coasters (especially fast ones with drops and upside down turns) and i must say i was impressed by how great thjs coaster was. If your a thrillseeker this is a pretty good ride. 10/10 will definitely go on next time

When I went to Disney in 2017 this was the first ride I ever went on at Disney and it’s one of the best at magic kingdom imo
I remember my hat flew on this ride, I was panicking when suddenly somebody caught it!

One time, I realized as I was boarding the train that I still had my Minnie ears on, so I took them off and held them between my legs (the little pouch in front of me for loose items looked filthy, so I didn’t want to put them in there)
Well the ride jerked around so much, my Minnie ears flew to the bottom of my car next to my feet mid-ride. At first I didn’t see them so I panicked. Wasn’t until we made it to the boarding station that I found they were still in the train car with me. It’s the wildest ride in the wilderness for a reason!
Woah, I went on this ride and almost flew out of my seat! It’s a really fun roller coaster!
I remember that I saw the minutes of this ride(line)and it was 150 minutes and I told my mom can we go please and she said no cause it’s to long and when we went inside because I forced her there was NO ONE BARLEY NO ONE

I went on this ride a few years ago and i was terrified because o didn’t like roller coasters at all but it ended up being one of my favorite rides at magic kingdom, definitely recommend it🙌

I just went to Disney today, for any little ones out there like me, dont be afraid! Even with being on the ride before i was still hyperventilating. Its totally fun tho! Just relax and have fun!
I love roller coasters. I live in Cleveland and I constantly go to Cedar Poiint to ride millennium force which has a 300 foot drop and the Dragster, but there’s just something about Big Thunder that makes it so fun.
Magic Kingdom is a wonderful place! I live in California so our Disneyland isn’t like there’s. I loved it there and I hope to go again ❤️

It was our first night in Disney World. I don’t know how we timed it so well, pure luck really, but we were on the ride when the 9pm fireworks started. Will never forget those few minutes, ever. If you can time it right, its a little extra magic.

noobinte I know but its still possible because on a steep ride, this wasnt long ago) the man who controlled the ride saw me almost fly out and stoped the entire ride even with restraints.
@@jasmine_roblox_x4429 I can 100% guarantee that you didn't almost fly out. Safety systems and restraints are so over the top that unless you are being a total idiot, there is no way for you to get hurt.
@@CoasterRoaster I was on a ride once, I was 7 years old. Someone before was a lot bigger and taller than me, and the seatbelt fit their size. Keeping in mind I was 7, I could of slid out. They didn't adjust it for me whatsoever. This wasnt at Disney but was sure a scary experience. My cousin ended up holding the seatbelt for me and I thanked her so much. It may not have made me slip out but I sure would of felt a lot safer it being tighter.

4 months later: still pretty fun, don’t go in the last seat, it’s awful.
I am not a person who is scared of most roller coasters (scared of some like slinky dog dash 😩), but I was so scared to get on this ride. Once I went on it, the fear literally disappeared. It is such a good ride and I went on so many times after that.

My dad loves to tell the story of years and years ago, my very elderly grandparents and their friends went to Disneyland and they spotted this ride and thought it was a little train that took you gently around the park and played nice music. They didn’t see the signs that say “If you have a heart condition, please consult your doctor and don’t get on the ride”. They got on anyway and needless to say, they did NOT go back. They were horrified😂

I remember back in 2019 when I went to Disney world, we were walking to big thunder mountain but just as we were getting in line, it started raining and everybody cleared out. Except for us. It stopped raining after 15 minutes and we went on with no line. That was fun.

From all the days I rode this was on New Years Eve, the ride was real fun there were of course some parts that the drop was faked, but it was good. At the beginning at 0:57 that part was just earrape for me. I would give this a 9/10.

Michael Bruce If you ride in the back, Big Thunder is easily as intense as it looks here. If you ride in the back alone, you essentially get slammed from side to side and experience several jolts of air time. The MK version is much more intense than the DL version in this regard, too, especially since they retracked DL's version.

The big thunder at Disneyland is a better thrill level but I would like to visit this one too.

In 1996 we were next to load when the ride suddenly shut down. A train was waiting for us, so they told us to go ahead and sit down. It was explained that the ride computers sometimes get out of sync and that creates an automatic shut down. They had to evac the ride and bring the trains in empty. We watched the entire restart sequence. Crews walked the tracks communicating with the operator and when it was cleared, they turned off the emergency lights and restarted the ride. They ran several empty trains through on the other track and then it was our turn. I kidded my four-year-old that we were the crash test dummies. The ride ran perfectly and that four-year old is now in guest relations at Hollywood Studios.

This is probably one of the most memorable rides for me. I went when it was night time and right as it started fireworks started going off. It was magical with all the awesome lights illuminating the rocks and fireworks lighting up the sky.
i am doing a project on a book that takes place here, and this is perfect for reference.
When I went to Disneyland resort. In LA I was in line with my family we were in. We were about to go in the ride next, but then the train got stuck so we had to get all out of the line but we got to keep our spot so we got so we had to wait like an hour and then we could go back on the line and go back.

When I was younger (can’t remember when maybe like 5) I was in line for this ride and was going to do it. But when I got to the loading station I got super freaked out and had to walk across the cart and I was afraid the coaster would start while I was on it😂😂😂

The first time I ever rode this ride as a kid, I was terrified of the glowing red eyes & the neon bats swinging from strings. When we reached that scene, I shut my eyes tightly until we were out in the sun.
