I used to do storage auctions in Colorado UNTIL 2012 I won like 8 units sent my guys down Clean them all out after I went through them all so get a call a week later hey you got a unit you didn't clean out I go ok Sent guys back cleaned unit out 3 days later I get a call need to bring back all the stuff which I had already sold seems that the weekend manager had rented the unit and the week manager didn't know they ended up giving the people $30,000 worst part for me was they gave people my phone number they called me up crying I felt bad after that so I quit had alot of fun doing it but in the end you profit off of others misfortune and that's a bad way in my opinion to do business

It's so nice of you to donate to the animal shelter. we have a wonderful no kill shelter here in Medford, Oregon. Yes, you came thru here, but I didn't know or would have loved to meet you all. Anyway, there are so many shelters, including for the unhoused. You guys are the beat! I love to watch your driveway sales! Hugs to you both.,

Our Humanes Society is always asking the public to donate those items because people don't think about things like that. Dog and Cat food donations are regular and on Saturday mornings there is a group of elderly people that take out ton of treats for the animals. We got to see that first hand when our Boston Terrier decided to take a run and thankfully was taken out there instead of the pound. We got there and there are 6 or 7 dogs loose just visiting with people and our dog could have cared less if we were there because was getting treats and attention! He came over all excited and he went back to his new friends lol they really treat the animals well and the older folks that can't have pets or can't take care of a pet full time physically get to go out and get their dog or cat fix. Pets are great for people's moods! You guys Rock! You got a great unit finally! Hopefully you do well on the resale!🙂🙃🙂

How to launder cash: place cash in storage facility where you are familiar with auction process. Have some person who does storage auctions buy your unit after not paying it. They can claim and the cash, cash is clean. Done.

Years ago i lost a storage unit due to a miscommunication and i lost literally everything i owned, including boxes and boxes of photos, birth certificates, etc just a bunch of personal items it was devastating so i just really want to say thanks for doing that

Does he really "deserve" it? I feel the legitimate owner of this property deserves it much more than whatever smuck happened to bid on it. I'm not aware of any other situation where you can be legally prevented from picking up your property simply due to a late payment for the STORAGE SPACE thereof. Deserves it? Nope no way.. .

From watching this I've gathered a ton of info about the owner. Prior male soldier trying to get a security job. A Batchelor, with his kids from previous relationship. Only gets kids on the weekend. Possibly fighting to stay in the kids life. He's struggling with drug or alcohol addiction and loosing to it if he's in jail. His dog is for therapy. Well traveled. Sentimental. He probably wouldn't enjoy watching this.

How long would you say it takes you to actually sell the items that are worth something? Just wondering if it's worth the time and effort.
Also, have you ever had a negative experience when giving things back to a person? Since they know you have (or had) their belongings and either want them back, or the money you got for it.
Depends on the unit. This one was all sold within the week since they were such easy sales. But something's like antiques can take forever. And the facility contacts the former owner. You just give them the personal stuff you want to return after you've cleaned it out and they do it so you don't have to be in contact with them
Why on earth give stuff back!? Its a fair game. Anyway a lot of these buyers prob own thrift shops.

This might be the storage unit of my ex. She always talked about how he brother and her had a unit near the boarder of MD when she lived in DC, and never would give me an exact location when I asked. What checks out is she was a security guard at a naval base and a hard gamer. She had a house burn down and she and her cousin grabbed what they could and tossed it in the unit. She was also a dumpster diver and always went to gamestop and radio shack and came back with random stuff.

That was an awesome video! You were both so excited that I got excited with you, although I don't own one single Xbox and what not. Tip: If you don't own one keep the tunnel. We bought a cheap one from IKEA and our cats love it. They play hide and seek or like to walk/run through it just for fun.
