Thank you so much Michelle, what a lovely comment! Enjoy the tutorial.
This piece appeared really complex but with your written and visual instructions it was quite quick and simple to make! Also cool that it's mostly one wire. Thank you, I love this design!
My pleasure! Thank you for this lovely comment... yes, there is always beautiful simplicity in things that appear complex. Most of my designs are like this. 💞
... and I always leave room for you to add your own touches... weave, beads, etc.

I waited too long to take this in Denver so I found you here. Your tutorial was so well done. I did it as my first wire wrapping and if I say so myself it turned out pretty good. I love the way you filmed it. So easy to follow. I am going to check out your other tuts next. Great job -Thank you!
Wonderful! Thanks Diana and I'm sorry I missed you in Denver, but I'm grateful and thrilled you found me here! I just moved to Loveland and my studio will be back up and running first week of August, so I'll be posting more videos soon again. Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments of the tutorials you try, I'm always here to help.
Oops the rest of my reply didn't make it! I'd love to see your creation. CZcams does not allow for images to be inserted into the comments. Please share if you feel like it with me on Facebook! facebook.com/PerfectlyTwistedJewelry

Thank you 🙌
Absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your kind comment! The use of square vs round, and half round vs tiny round... is artist preference. There are certainly some techniques that work more comfortably with certain wires, but for the most part, there are no 'rules'. Traditions perhaps, yes... more formal jewelry can be considered to be made with square wire but I have seen some very fine wire wraps done with all round too... round is said to be more slippery, but not really because the trade off is that square wire can twist on you when you might not want it to.... etc. Most weaving designs traditionally use the tiny round wires over larger round frame wires, but people weave over square frame wires also. They don't make tiny 28 and 30g wires in square... so the 'weaving' gauges are normally in the 26, 28, 30s... (wire is sized upside down, smaller number, bigger diameter, larger number, smaller diameter)... just fyi. Half round is traditionally used for banding other wires together but can also be found in advanced weaving today and large gauge all half round wire designs...etc...
Many artists are also combining soldering and fabricated pieces with wire wrap and wire weave these days too. Coiling is traditionally done with smaller and tiny gauge wires, but people are twisting large gauge round and square wires these days too. Many of us hammer out some of our wires too... I hope this helps you! Enjoy your wire art!
PS... here is a playlist of mine that might help you... the first few videos talk a bit about styles of wire wrapped jewelry and various wires, etc

Just beautiful! Thank you so much. Will a 10mm cab work okay, do you think? Blessings on this Easter Sunday!
Yes, absolutely, but give yourself a few more inches in the wire when you start then, maybe 26 inches. Have fun!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful piece as always - I even watch your videos just to relax after work. Is there a way you could use a round bead with a hole - I realise is won’t sit flat at the back but I have heaps of beads in my stash - what do you think?
Yes, absolutely you can. Rather than doing the initial figure S to seat the cabochon, thread your bead to the center of the wire and just do the same wrap. That would be the only difference I can think of really. Let me know how it goes! Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I'm planning some focal bead wraps in the future, just haven't gotten there yet ;)
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry that would be awesome, I have so many beads of all sorts from 10mm to 3mm and a stack of Swarovski bicones it's not funny
Absolutely stunning but I'm confused with the measure of the wire, Three feet on hand of 18 gauge wire means 91 cm or 36 inches or as you mentioned afterwards 24 inches ?
Hmm. I will review the instructions, maybe I made the typo! Use 36 inches total, you will use some of the scrap for the eyebrow. Thanks again!
hi thank is very beatyful where i can to buy this wire ???
Thank you, I buy wire with Riogrand.com
I'm hoping you could help me out. I love your tutorial and wanted to make the Eye of Horus so I ordered 22 guage half round copper wire. When it arrived it is way to small, so small in fact you could barely tell it is half round. Can you tell me what the diameter would be of the wire you use? Thank you. I am very excited to make this as soon as possible.
Sharon, the half round wire is 22g (for the banding) but you could also use a larger half round for banding such as 20g. 22 is small, but it shouldnt be THAT small. Double check the gauge just in case, maybe they sent the wrong wire, it happens. My eye of Horus tutorial, the wire I am using is 22g half round and 18g round for the frame. You should be able to tell in the video, the size of that wire... it's small but not super tiny. I hope that helps!
Guys i have a confusion. I know that eye of horus is on the left. I want to make a gold ring for the Eye of Horus. Should it face thr right side? Cuz it would appear left from another person's perspective. Or just keep it on the left?
I'd keep the Eye of Horus, on the left, facing the wearer. Thanks for your comment!
What happened to the sound???
Thanks, Dawn, not sure but I put the music back in there... this one only has written instruction panels. My newer videos have my voice instructions but these are still really good projects and well documented. Enjoy! The music should update in a couple of hours.
i liked this video but all the reading is so distracting. having to pause and rewind so much was distracting which left me flustered. i prefer videos with audible instructions so i can watch the hands while listening instead of watching hands and trying to read. its quite annoying but i still left a like, the pendant is very nice.
Noted, B! I make them talkies now, this one is an older one but I will consider to remake it with voice. Thanks again for hanging in there with me and giving it a thumbs up! I appreciate you!
