Too iconic. The discontinuation of the “Check It” branding in 2016 really marked the end of an era in cable television. Where Cartoon Network originals like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe were reaching their series finales within the next few years, and the general populace really started to see the impact on the rise of streaming services.
I cannot believe this was 13 years ago. I remember being 10 watching Adventure Time and Regular Show with these being inbetween. Yet it still feels like yesterday? So weird.
Back when Cartoon Network had a tone shift to focus on the Teenage Demographic, Thus the more Radicalized Aesthetic and Mature themes. How I miss This Era CHECK it 1.0 (2010 to 2012). I also like CHECK it 3.0 too (2013 to 2014). Nostalgic.....

Don't get me wrong though, Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gumball really did bring CN back from the grave but if I were to describe 1.0 it would be more like "Sucked but bumpers were the best out of the Check it era and CN was starting to get okay again."

Cartoon Network was established on October 1 1992. Then on June 14 2004, the channel had it's first logo change. During this time, the was the City Era(2004-2007), the Wedgies Era(2007-2008), and the Nood Era(2008-2009 or 2010). After that, Cartoon Network had it's modern rebrand on May 29 2010.
Since Cartoon Network changed their logo last year they are finally good again and not horrible, ESPECIALLY with the noods, I like Cartoon Network again. I really hope it will get even better for the network. :)
They have started putting on more old shows like ed edd and eddy, scooby doo where are you, Codename KND, and have moved cartoon planet to saturdays and sundays.

eliotime™ too bad the rest of the world didnt used the full rebrand package as *main rebrand* and used the toonix for s**t purposes instead of using the bumpers (asia did got a few bumpers, but still mainly uses check it/its a fun thing and new wave)
Also this is a weird thing but in other countries I saw the old version of Cartoon Network with the old logo and they were playing the amazing world of gumball that means this rebrand only went to the USA but other countries still had the old version of Cartoon Network so that’s weird
