- Today embark on a neat abstract logo design, using the Illustrator transparency tool. Have fun and get creative with todays Illustrator tutorial, on an abstract logo design, brought to you by Satori Graphics.
This abstract logo was a lot of fun to make, and I think it looks really neat. It isn’t that difficult to make, using the transparency tool / window in Illustrator, and you will find out for yourself watching todays logo design tutorial. This abstract logo tut is more of a free flow creative design than a strict regimented design process. Sometimes it’s a nice break to move away from strict briefs that restrict the artistic flare most of us designers have, and to simply see where you end up along a creative journey as with this logo design.You can also brush up on your skills using the transparency tool, shape tools, and other tools that you will use in this Illustrator abstract logo tutorial.
But like I said, it’s more of a free flow logo design, rather than a strict way of doing things.

Top stuff as usual Tom. Any chance of a video showing how you would use raster images within your Illustrator designs? Like I mentioned to you before I mainly make posters but I’m trying to find a balance between using Illustrator and Photoshop. For certain areas of poster design, Illustrator is great. For others it’s Photoshop (I’ve never used InDesign). I’d be really interested to see how you would tackle it. It’s just a thought. Have a great weekend Tom. 👍
