re: the fun part is someone pointed out that giving virginia a gun means it does not run out of ammo ever, for her. a couple of twitch streamers co-playing saw the constant flash of gun fire from her, protecting the base. and it is confirmed that she doesn't have a limit on ammo. so, crack shot virginia would have helped a lot in the ending lol

I guess? Idk, the mutations are getting super-hero'esque now... Not really the vibe I got from the first game. Or even 99.9% of this one.

@@Voidustrys i think his mutation is bad and maybe cant control it, but learned to use it to his advantage. Or, he learned how to control it, but after his mutation increased he cant control it anymore.

@@MaxiCubi Kind of both, he can control it to a degree but it can grow outside his control until he forces it to revert
It's how he's been keeping himself stable, he forces his mutations into becoming inactive so they can't overtake his consciousness and corrupt him
When I finished finishing the game it was still pre-release, I finished the game about 5 days after it was released to buy and there was still no final boss fight, there were only two endings leaving with everyone alive and leaving with everyone dead or staying on the island But without the final fight, now what's changed is that you fight the boss and that's it as far as I understand, right?
Yup. But u get more information for the story of The forest and sons of forest for example that Timmy from the forest can use the mutation power and tried to fight the end Boss with it but fails but It makes sense after u saw the end of the forest that Timmy is an mutant aswell

@@xMCD Depends, my friends and I finished it in 5 days too, but we still haven't explored the majority of the map, we just explored a bunker that led to the next one and then to the next one and boom, end mission before we had the rifle and the revolver. We chose the bad ending even tho Virginia and Kelvin were still alive so we could keep exploring the map and play around, you can basically finish the game with just the axe if you wanted to in 10 hours since the progression is not that clear.
I came out to fight the end boss and it was pitch black so I ran away. He chased me for a long time but i managed to get back to base. This is where i am up to and i have no idea whats going to happened. Is he still there or have i bugged it?

Would not really call it secret because at the start of game they show you on your computer you that you should locate and extract Pufftons, by keeping Virginia alive you have fulfilled initial mission In a way

I wish I knew she was a potential companion I when I first say her I was like oh these mfs throwing a hotty at us first to throw us off, welp off with her head
Then there's me who had the good ending where timmy handles the blob guy and virgina left with me all in the same ending...... also don't think staying on the island is a bad ending.. unless you're staying on the island and virginia and kelvin are dead.. I went back to my previous save before entering the ending and completed again staying on the island to continue playing and building, virgina and kelvin at my side.
now that i look back on it, the game really needed a revamp.
The final bosfight was so bad, please. It could have been so much more :=

No secret ending is a true lie cause one side virginia stays on island other side virginia entered to an helicopter with lots of collision problems
Staying on the island isn't a bad ending. It's your choice. I chose to stay.

I have to say I like the version where theyre not made out of lightning a lot more, and the music was better
Mine was different and I didn't see that here.
What happened was my bag had electric thingy and flew meters away from me? if I remember? and the sphere metal where u can assemble the other pieces floated in front of me.
Then timmy shouting not to grab my bag. I tried grabbing the sphere metal thing but I can't, I grabbed the backpack instead.
Then they left, Timmy saying "Now, you're all on your own", maybe for him I chose to stay.
Is that city a reference to in the mountains of madness?

Me played the game before the add of the other boss. The big demon was easy.
How do I get Virginia to come with me, i befriended her and gave her a gun and clothes but she didnt show up in the cube
Pretty sure that means she died somewhere. If she's alive she will show up in the cube, same goes for Kelvin.
Is the game just buggy, or is it suppose to have that unfinished quality to it?
It’s not “supposed” to seem unfinished, it’s just that endnight didn’t have an unlimited budget and their main focus was cleaning up the gameplay and making the game look good, and I think they succeeded there.
the ending is so confusing and random to me . there was no effort out into the game by the writers. can u tell me what actually happens when at the end where the cube opens and there is a city behind

@@noahc2327 then why release it . That's stupid . They straight up did the cyberpunk thing ( I watched an explanation of the whole story and it turns out that the story is way more cooler and witty than I thought)

@@mishax3788it’s not tho…. It’s in early access still as stated on their steam page they literally have a countdown timer for updates in game too. They are still making the game and they tell you about it and the fans get to play it early so I think it’s a win win
@@mishax3788 They pre-released it as an alpha with the comment that they are dependent on community feed back from now on. A lot of games release as an alpha and don't finish for a while.

Secret ending? Imagine you going to the island to save Virginia but if you safe her it's called as a secret ending.
There is another ending where kelven is dead but virginia is alive

@@ErenDenizMert gameplay wasnt great either. All the camps are boring, and it does get very repetitive. Building is very cool though, but there needs to be a good reason to build stuff...
@@Crazzzycarrot-qo5wr i spent like 1 hour in real life gathering logs to build a tree hut rofl and then i found that entertainment bunker. There is literally no point living anywhere but in a bunker where no one will attack you at night and loot respawns when you reload
@@ThornySnailPictures Exactly. Game has bad story AND bad/no actual survival. The way loot works/respawns is also horrible.
@@Crazzzycarrot-qo5wr how did find enough ammo? I basically built tarp shelters next to world ammo spawns and constantly saved/reloaded to get 100 9mm ammo. In the entertainment bunker i literally saved/loaded about 15 times to farm 50 buckshot shells lol.
I had ending where apparently i didn't save kelvin, but saved Virginia. he was alive when i entered the last bunker. Fuck kelvin tho, who needs him anyway.🤣🤣

this game is actually pretty awful. it's literally the Forest but with a bigger, yet somehow worse map, less interesting enemies and an interesting but ultimately fruitless story.
At least the original Forest game ended on an existential "Do I or do I not shoot down an airliner to maybe save my son" followed by something I can't remember. This game....like, it's going the way of that show Lost. Too many questions to desperately keep it interesting and while this shouldn't be a real problem, you can tell by the lazy execution in the video that the same people who made the original game probably weren't involved in this one.
Ten years and this is what they made. An expansion pack to the Forest. Rating: 5/10
Also wtf is with sitting in this game?! You literally can only do it in like three types of seats (bench, skin chair and bone/stick chairs) and can't even read or access your inventory while doing so. You just....stare into the environment until you 'sleep' meter increases (as opposed to sleeping).
So stupid. Also bring back Armsy and the bone arrows, ffs.
You this is still pre release right? They will probably add way more things when full game comes out.
