Creating a full-length feature film is a monumental task for any director. In the storm of actors, set designs, production assistants and the cameras catching them all, the finished movie is just a tiny glimpse of the actual work - and talented people - that goes into making it. Usually, it’s the editor’s job to make sure that what’s outside of each shot stays there - but they’re only human. Which means some truly incredible mistakes can make it into the final product for our viewing pleasure. Here are Screen Rant’s Movie Mistakes That Slipped Through Editing.

Avatar: The Last Airbender. In almost every single shot of the film you can see a group of derpy kids pretending that they're making a movie.
That movie made me so sad. Disappointing. It gave me nightmares by the horrible acting lol
Someone call Elsa for that burn.
MickMaan all i can say is...
Ung! UNg! UUNNG!!
cannot deny the desire to shoot her between the eyes!
The Titan List Are you the Ovitar Oung?
MickMaan Oh geez, that's grand. xD
You missed that one mistake in that Justin Beiber film. The problem was that it existed.
OMG SO TRUE
Rainbow Kitty
I know, right?!
YEAH
Oh burn
Rainbow Kitty
:D
I hate watching these because I can never unsee them, but im too curious to not watch LOL
lol me to
Me to but it ruined my childhood sometimes but I liked them sometimes
Watch it in slomo and you'll see it teleports through not over
mangobanana :(
Ok boomer
On the topic of the Frozen mistake:
I actually had the pleasure of speaking to Lino Di Salvo, the animation director on the film. (I'm an animation student, my professors have connections, lol. He was one of the nicest dudes I've ever met, super friendly and polite and goofy). I don't have any way of knowing what's bullshit and what's legit, but the way he explained it made sense. He actually was aware of the flaw, but let it slide, because the animators had tried doing it the "right" way, and it ended up breaking the flow of Elsa's actions, and it gave them problems with her shoulder rigs. So, again, take from that what you will, but as an animator, it made sense to me. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to maintain the feeling you're going for. What's more important here is that viewers are drawn in by the song and the strong emotion of the scene, so little things like that shouldn't really throw people off too much. :P
Right!
Agreed
True
Yeah I didn’t even think it was a mistake to me it looks like she’s just lifting up her braid but that’s just me
You sure you didnt just see the documentary where they say it? :D
dude everyone makes mistakes just "Let it go"
.... sorry
I don't forgive you...
no just no.
Now thats ICE cold there is SNOW way out of mistakes you know what im gonna SLEIGH you!!! #snow puns Also the problem in poltergeist is from begging to the end!
+JealousyAndGreed
👦
Lol
How on earth people spot these is beyond me. These sort of videos are really interesting to watch!
***** haha these are even harder to find than any Easter egg I've ever found!
He's rite
Captain Eggcellent I still can't find the barbarian extra in Gladiator and whats his doing... I rewatched that part atleast 10 times..
KabulTheAngryFinn - The Stupidity of Gaming people must analyse every bloody scene. It's insane, but hats off to them!
Captain Eggcellent Indeed.
You missed Twilight, the whole line of movies is a mistake.
What's Gibby Thinking About? Also Percy Jackson and Divergent and DCEU
the books are good
WRONG!!!!!
Just wanted to say that I love your name!
What's Gibby Thinking About? If you don’t like Something keep your mouth shut
"Are there any we missed?" I'm sure there are far more than 10 mistakes ever made in the history of TV.
I agree with you
Woooooooooo!
far more than 1,000 i know that
theres at least one mistake in every movie so maybe far more than 1,000,000!
@@christiefitzgerald5843 actually it's said there's only about 500,000 films in existence.
I think leaving the film crew in the boat in JAWS was intentional ,,,seems normal to have a film crew at this event.
BK Nyland I could get behind that, realisticly im shure the news would want in
+Andre Krumins you're SHURE?
+Rose Lee I fucking hate when people write shure except from sure like ugh smh
Laura Jan I've never seen people spell it like that actually...
Laura Jan no one noticed realistically was spelt wrong also?
Elsa's braid was too difficult to animate properly so they let it go.
+TypeORedPill I see what you did there.
I see what you did there
Hahahahaha
Willow OwO Who didn't!?!??
+TypeORedPill Most of modern 3d modeling and animation software's has physics engine, so it is not so difficult as it seems. Even modern games characters can have braids bouncing naturally thanks to physics engine. And they definitely wont "let it go", especially nowadays when everyone can inspect movies frame by frame.
In Pirates/Carribean Strangers Tides, you can see a 🔌 in King George's room.
A what?
A electric plug
I heard that one not long ago
I know
@@davidbakke9293 I know
The Frozen one wasn't a mistake, the animators had to clip her braid through her arm to keep her model from breaking. Before I get a million replies saying I'm wrong, it's in one of the Frozen documentaries.
mermaidwitch94
mermaidwitch94 that is true
You may want to explain what is clipping is, I think a lot of younger viewers are probably thinking it's something to with actual clips.
You watched a documentary about Frozen..........!!!!!!!!!!
You only got 7. No one cares that much!
in one of the old star wars films a storm trooper bangs his head on top of a door
+Alex Brewer Yep. Pretty sure it was Episode IV. You just hear a **bonk!** noise as the third stormtrooper walks through a door and you see him almost fall back.
Lol noob
Its Spree He's quite the skrub, eh?
+Alex Brewer LOL IRL
Really?:o
+Alex Brewer In a later version, they actually acknowledged this and made the guy grunt and gave it a sound. It was pretty awesome XD. Sadly, I'm not a starwars fan, I just know a few things here and there.
I'd love more videos on mistakes like these please!
You want a video about yourself
crazyeater0 well that was just.. uncalled for
crazyeater0 OhhhHHHhHHhhhhh SNAP! :O
crazyeater0 Did an alphabet bone break, cuz I heard an O-Snap!

i never noticed the camera man in harry potter
Me neither, and I've watched clips from the movie loads of times!
I noticed the Voldemort portrait in the scene of the fat Lady screaming scene so I told my mom
When he said frozen i thought i was gonna be the editing mistake when Christoph grabs Anna and his hand goes through her body
6:58 Apparently Elsa's hair was using No-Clip.
+sega64guy She needs to be VAC banned!
+anthonyorm she needs some VACation
Lol yes
Yeah and I was wondering where the hair tie came from, clearly Elsa didn't use her powers on her hair she kind of just stoked it
Player
the harry potter mistake wasn't a mistake ..that whole scene was dedicated to that camera man and his daughter who defeated cancer
+warmfreeze So they just...kept him in the scene, despite the the fact that his cameo is anachronistic and makes the whole scene look unprofessional? They could have at least dressed him up as a professor.
Lucy G did you notice it the first 3 times you watched the movie? probably not.
+warmfreeze The crew is not suppose to be on camera while their still shooting the movie or any movie. Even if a scene was a dedication to an important thing going on like defending cancer or something like that. (no offence to the camera man and his daughter.) Their trying to keep the same genre so it doesn't mix with any other genres. Besides it doesn't say it in any of the Harry Potter books.
+Lucy G It wasn't anachronistic. The story of Harry Potter is one that happened at the same time as the people who made the movie.
+warmfreeze Probably a hoax.
I don't see the problem with the last one... I reviewed it like 8 times now and still see that she pulled her hair from her back to over her shoulder but whatever
Me too & I've watched this episode several times. Still can't see it.
+Hope Campbell it does
her hair went through her arm
Me too
Slow the speed of the video to 0.25 in the settings area. Start at 6:58. Goes through her arm by 6:59.
Who the hell notices all this!!
I noticed all of them 😂
I enjoy the movies too much to notice
the entire Avatar real life movie is a movie mistake
+Yamifira “the” chosen juan
Ain't that the truth
Everyone knows that. It won some specialty awards though. Worst picture, Worst visual effects, worst actor, and worst supporting actor.
so true
+Yamifira “the” chosen juan Seriously though I LOVED the cartoon but the real life movie SUCKED!! Like really bad.
+naruhina9316 Not Avatar the last air-bender" (I'm a HUGE FAN OF). The Movie "Avatar" nothing is the same. The movie for Avatar the last air-bender was called "The Last Air Bender" (It was very bad!)
I guarantee the editors caught all of those, but catching it late in the game during post would most likely cost far too much to go re-shoot for a little mistake that's hardly noticeable.
fun fact. I spotted a scene in harry potter in the chamber of secrets where u can see the invisible cloak in the background just being a green screen cover
This just blew my mind!!! Absolutely incredible!!!! :D
TERMINATOR 2. When the T800 lost his arm, you can see the original Anrold's arm inside the jacket
RatosLetrados plus the fact the the entire movie messed up because his arm is still in the machine and would totally eliminate the reason for him to melt himself in the steel furnace. He melts himself, melts the old arm that was left from the first terminator, but he leaves his own arm in the machine so they really did all that work for nothing.
james friel the arm is not that important. the chip is. they did melt both chips.
Mi Zhou cyberdyne did all of their research with just an arm and a non-working cpu. The cpu and arm just gave them the ideas needed to progress, they didn't just reverse engineer them they were inspired by them.
RatosLetrados same thing in star wars the empire strikes back you can see luck skywalker's hand after he lost it
byec7 get just onofyumogdinner

4:30 Sword in left hand. 4:31 Sword in right hand.
danielandhisguitar very good.
More important grave error than a white shirt crewman in the far screen corner in a crowd.(Not visible on TV 4:3 screen..supposedly the reason why it slipped the attention).
ODDBALL SOK Actually, T-shirts and denim pants were absolutely available in that time period. Pre-WW2, the work uniform of U.S. soldiers were T-shirts and denim trousers. He could have been on leave since the war hadn't started yet.
He meant the crewman in Gladiator that was visible in the crowd.
Raggical Traggical I agree that Imperial Rome was pre-WW2 but the two events were still very distant
danielandhisguitar Excellent spot!! Ive watched this movie many times and didnt catch that...
I love it great job Screen Rant it's cool to know what mistakes the editors do hey :)
Fun fact about the gun vs sword scene in Raisers of the Lost Ark: Indy was supposed to do some fancy whip trick, but Harrison Ford(and quite a few of the cast and crew) had Dysentery, and was so miserable he decided that Indy would just shoot the guy. Everyone went with it because of how miserable they were.
Wasn’t it that Harrison had a bad back that day?
@@simonsays1981 Nope, Harrison was sick with Dysentery.
I don't understand the frozen mistake because doesn't she just lift her hair over her shoulder?
Jack Pearson Watch it at 0.25 speed the moment she touches her hair it "goes" through her left arm.
Jack Pearson Her hair phases through her left shoulder rather than arm really.
The thing I guess the channel is trying to say is, braid is intertwined ... Where as in that physics it acts like free hair ...
Liv in No. Instead of the braid going OVER her left shoulder, it clips right through. has nothing to do with it being braided or not.
Jack Pearson No, it clearly goes through. It is easy to spot even at normal speed.
In dirty dancing: the mistake starts at 0:00 and ends at 1:40:00 dont know how it sliped through editing
I love this comment 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
HAHAHA 😂
😂😂😂
I liked Dirty Dancing :|
+Payton Thiele i think you should read your comment . . . it doesn't exactly make sense
in the movie Matilda when Matilda and Ms. Honey are in Ms. Trunchbulls house the chandelier fall down and shatters. but then it's back on the ceiling perfectly fine.
Also Trunchbull had a husband even though she was clearly a lesbian

Cool vids!
+Screen Rant I wanted to tell u that most people already knew about the Frozen Elsa hair thing. Not to be rude. I didn't know about the rest! (p.s huge Harry Potter fan)
Also in Raiders of the Lost Arc, when Indi escapes from the asp infested tomb where the arc was, he pushes out a stone that seemed very heavy, but if you look at the stones shadow as it lands, you can see it bounce.
+Anime America love your vids keep up the good work : D
That is crazy!! I never would or did notice all of those mistakes!!
So grateful "Let it go" was muted. Appreciate that. Good video.
how did you guys even SEE these???? even the Jurassic park one....ive watched that sene in the movie a thousand times!.....I didn't even notice that!
***** XD
they slow-mo bro
+Amanda W yeah even in slowmo i have to go back on this vid to be able to catch the shit they say lmfaoo
Yea I know! I watched the Jurassic Park movies sense I was born (I'm only 10)!!!!
Susannah Vlogs Me to..I'm ten, and a girl....I'm a strange lil weirdo and I'm proud! I say that cut a GIRL likes pokemon, dinos, dragons.
I don't understand the mistake in Frozen.
LizziesKindaBeast her hair just disappeared from the back and went to the front
LizziesKindaBeast I don't get it either. Looks like she wrapped the braid around her hand and around to the front to me.
Domonique Kyle I thought the same thing until I watched it a couple more times. Her braid passes through her armpit to the front of her shoulder.
LizziesKindaBeast I thought the same thing. Watch closely though. Funny how our brains see what they think *should* be happening.
LizziesKindaBeast Her hair clipped through her arm.
In the first finding Nemo Dory says that her short term memory runs in the family. But in the Second movie parents clearly do not have short-term memory loss. If you read this pleas put this in a video I will be very thankful
Hi I am new to this channel (just subscribed) 😄I love it so far!
You missed in 5th episode of Star Wars where the storm trooper hits his head on the ceiling!
yep
But it's top 10, and if u guys notice it, then it's not as big
+Daydream1414 movie
lmO
haha haha haha xp
As an animator who uses 3D I can tell you that the braid going through the arm isn't a mistake; it's a tool. The mistake was the angle of the shot, if that moment had been shot from the side (profile) of Elsa with her hair hidden by her head and neck, you'd never know that the animators "cheated".
Wow! I never thought I would see a video like this!
Dno if the sword thing was a mistake. It would have been pretty embarrassing for him to go and pick it up -_-
J'zargo J'Zargo!
Noah Meyer Yes J'zargo is back from Elsweyr and soon he will be archmage. Of this there can be no doubt.
J'zargo Your spell is aids to my friendlies
Have you learned the fire spell yet xD love elder scrolls
long dick n The flame cloak spell was too hot to handle, even for J'zargo. This one decided to learn the master lightning spells instead.
How often do you have to see a film to notice these small errors?
koffieslikkersenior lot of times :D I have seen the Gladiator about 10 times and more but I haven't seen thoose mistakes
koffieslikkersenior depends. for me its mostly the first/second time.
D34 TH I'm sorry for that. I normally just enjoy a film (or not lol) and then form my opinion, but I almost never see any of these mistakes. If there are historical inacuracies, I'll spot them, if a fight scene is bad/unrealistic, I'll notice it, if someone's lines are bad, I'll hear that, but not a gastank in a wagon :P
koffieslikkersenior Millions of people see the movie, one or two of them see and they put it on the Internet. Later, someone compiles a list of all the little mistakes.
Orlando Pockets First loser. it's 4
Love this channel
Elsa grabbed her pony tail and put it to her shoulder on purpose.
Yeah
No if you look closely it literally went right thru her arm. Like thru. As if the arm wasn't there
I know that's what I was going to comment
TheGamingSpy elsa puts her braid through her shoulder
TheGamingSpy elsa puts her braid through her shoulder
This video is wrongly described. It implies that errors are the problem of the editor missing something. That is not the case at all. I'm a professional editor, and a proper editor thinks of the big picture, not of minor detail. A good editor is not going to waste an otherwise great shot because it has a tiny continuity error that only geeks will notice. Even if the editor caught it and wanted to get rid of it, the director would likely refuse. If you have a good story and good pace, no one will notice continuity errors.
+angelthman I like how your post was edited. Made me laugh.
I agree, the Jurassic park thingy I had always noticed but I always thought it was the velociraptor's tail! You just don't notice these things until you look. The only thing I do think should have been edited out was the bomb refusal mistake as I clearly seen the hand before he discussed it.
Nobody cares
No need for a long speech
i have to say...
i agree with you
+angelthman That was quite a real comment. #keepitreal
I know this isn't a movie, but what about the zombie extra drinking water in an episode of the walking dead? Finding that caught my cousin and I off guard XD
Which season and episode? I'd like to see it
I thought the same. That zombie caught me of guard too
ViZe Replay Mason J 266 You're both liars! That's in a deleted scene... Unless there's another one I haven't heard of.
RJrules64 ViZe Replay it's in season one episode one when Rick runs in to a horde on a horse :P youtube it
What about when the governor aims his gun looking down his scope with his patched up eye.
keep up the good work!! I've been subscribed since 10,000
How is the distance future?
One of my favorite film mistakes is a scene in Gone With the Wind (1939) were a lamp is shown with a clearly visible light bulb in it.
3D animated movies are not created "one frame at the time". The computer renders the movie, but the animator doesn't control every frame. You are thinking about hand drawn animation.
***** that's not the point and you know it. He said "despite being rendered one frame at a time", like they are watching every frame. That's not how it works. That's how it works for hand drawn animations. A video camera also shoots one frame at a time. You could easily miss something like this because you are not aware of every frame, just like when you shoot with a video camera.
Mikael Murstam You still do a quick render for actions and such to make sure the models move correctly and there isn't clipping. Then you do the final render.
Mikael Murstam I have mild animation XP, like really mild, but when I'm rendering an animation, my computer will display every frame with enough time to notice any large mistakes. Tbh that hair flip didn't really look like a mistake, though.
Mikael Murstam That's not true the animator does control every frame, and with the time spent on each frame you might as well say it is created one frame at a time.
I bet if you asked the animator that went through the trouble to create that complicated shot he would tell you he looked at every frame.
I would say that's the best he could do with the physics of creating a spine, and making it interact with her hand, and they didn't feel post was necessary. I agree it looks good enough who is slowing this stuff down :/
KurtisICT Every frame could be a key frame. No animator is just going to set up a bunch of key frames without scrolling through the timeline. The more complicated the animation the more time spent tweaking, and this one is fairly complicated. The animator would have known about the clipping.
With the Frozen one, I thought she was clearly using her hand to put her hair over her shoulder like some people do in real life all the time. I could be mistaken, I guess...
But it PASSES through her arm.
I'm not doubting that. I'm just saying that I don't see it.
+AutumnStarArcade i agree. I do that all the time. It doesnt have to slip thru her arm to be realistic.
+AutumnStarArcade if you're on google chrome, set the video to 0.25x under options, then watch closely. you can see the end of her braid never goes over the shoulder, it just moves straight through her arm.
+Veovis That's what I did and I could see it
Nice video!
A mistake you missed was the stormtrooper hitting its head.
Did anybody else have a Japanese makeup ad before the video?
He's done it in another vid
*(>u
yeah i love that part
Sheriff Duncan Flynn
I STILL can't see the whole "Elsa letting down her hair" thing... SOMEONE EXPLAIN PLEASE
+iHeartKitty her hair goes threw her body instead of over
Macro-Gaming I can't see that, I'm such an idiot XD
***** THANKS SO MUCH, I FINALLY see it! XD
When she lets her hair down it is behind her shoulders then without her grabbing it her hair goes in front of her shoulder then back to behind her then she grabs it
+iHeartKitty ikr
My pet peeve is hair. There's a lot of hair shots where it's perfect then messy or curly then straight. Even worse when it's put together with obvious 5 shots linked into one. Well it's a huge pet peeve that I do notice, but I don't look for them, I just see it, because some of us pay more attention to the physical not the verbal part of a movie. I must of been a Script a Girl in my past live. Haha. iMO :D
Michele Conley What the fuck are you talking about?
What drugs do you use?
Michele Conley Lol right? You can obviously tell when a single scene takes multiple days to shoot, because they can never get the hair exactly as it was the days before. The same goes for when they have to do a re-shoot of part of a scene weeks later.
Bag of Moist Tortilla Chips. · ͜ʖ· how she finds it obvious that the characters hair changes in the shots during a scene
i think
For me it's when an actor is sipping on an obviously empty cup of ( usually coffee or water)
i learnd a lot. thats awesome i wouldve never noticed
I still can't see the frozen Elsa one
Cutederpy Kitten me too
Cutederpy Kitten me too
Cutederpy Kitten I'll try explaining. Her hair goes THROUGH her shoulder instead of going around it. :)
J5A1V5 - Turs Actually, it doesn't. She moves it with her arm bringing it to the top
i can't either
You missed when in a James Bond movie, (I can't recall which) the Aston Martin was on 2 wheels and went through a thin alley. It went out the other end on its other 2 wheels.
HeadStriker Bond's equipment is so amazing, that his car can flip over even in such a small place xD
+Molotovvv They did ask for "did we miss any" though, to get people commenting.
So the guy is right isn't he? ¬.¬
Sauce, plz?
The reason for this is that they recorded the scene when he exits the alley first.
Tanzen The Munchkin
The reason is, that the cutter didn't pay attention^^ The order of what was first doesn't matter here.
ALSO at 4:31 Russell's sword switches hands!!!!
Nicholas Joseph-Francis Yep that is correct.
Nicholas Joseph-Francis but that's an inconsistency error from the director and the filming crew, not an editing mistake
radarpinki I bet you're a real hoot at parties.
LlYyNnAaSs S but he's right
LlYyNnAaSs S Nah, I just fall asleep drunk out of my mind :^)
really good facts to know about film making
This is so cool i watched every part like twice good joob
The scene in The Bourne Identity was not a mistake nor an oversight. His 'disappearing act' was intended to confuse the untrained eye of the average viewer but we know that Jason Bourne is not a supernatural being (not to that degree, at least) so he can't just disappear. Just like a magician fools the untrained eye with distraction, misdirection and sleight-of-hand/body techniques, Jason Bourne fools his pursuers with the same techniques. The average person watching will think he disappeared...but a keener eye may have spotted his move immediately. Regardless, that scene was intended to be shown exactly the way it was.
You can see a troll face at 7:31
Andrewthenext I admit it, you got me
Charlie Cole he would of got me if you didn't comment this XD
Andrewthenext Yeah i can see it!
lol you got me
Andrewthenext I almost fell for that, almost
this was awesome
Two mistakes in Bourne Identity: 1) When Bourne escapes from the embassy, he knocks all the snow off the upper deck of the fire escape, but when the guards open the door a few seconds later, the snow is back in place as if he had never been there. 2) When he is scanning his hand in the bank, he places his palm on the scanner and then removes it. The camera then returns to the scanner -- with his hand back on it.
So does he just like sit down all day watching movies spotting mistakes?
Not him
+amba ice lol ikr
Actually you can get them online
+amba ice I wonder if there is a job like that. I would be great at it,since I spot alot of mistakes :P
. Wizard of Oz
there's a dead hanging guy in the background
These are interesting, but I honestly wouldn't have noticed any of it if someone hadn't pointed them out. And the Elsa thing- they just forgot or clipped a few frames of animation for it (probably just to sync with the music). Her hair would have been fine if about two spaces of movement had been in place. It was better to do it the way they did. jmo
j
The animators at Disney decided to have her hair go through her arm because it looked better than having it flow over
+lemonadecupcakes exactly, I've seen almost all of these movies and I didn't notice a single one of these mistakes
+HazzBazz I don't think it discredits the movie, I just think it means nobody's perfect
like💖
I think the reason why they kept the camera crew in jaws was because they’re probably the news filming the hunt going on. It makes sense to me why they weren’t really bothered by keeping the camera crew in
I can't be the only one who screamed "HAWKEYE" when Jeremy Renner was mentioned
You're not the only one
Everyone came for the thumbnail nothing else admit that now...
I did 😂😂
Didn't we all want to see that Disney slip-up.
I didn't I just wanted to see the. Jurassic Park part. F*** FROZEN!!!
+Villager of SmashVille Ya look a joke why was the snow yellow elsa let it go
Rocket boy Martinez IM CRYING LOL
Is it just me or do most people not notice the mistakes until someone/some video uncovers them?
+ChaosNe0 It's true. They are left in there on purpose. They are things so small happening at a time when you should be paying attention to something else that they don't even bother trying to fix it because they know almost no one watching in real time will notice. Most people don't care if they can see a slip if they pause the movie and the people making them are well aware of that.
+ChaosNe0 99% of ScreenRant's stuff only shows up when you pause and look closely. Entertaining to see, for sure, but not something most people notice.
I think so
yeah same
+ChaosNe0 I can't lie at all
me: **sees harry potter and the chamber of secrets**
me: lemme guess. its the camera man hidden in plain sight?
Back when these where big mistakes.
Now we've had huge starbucks cups in got lol.
2 points:
1. Elsa's hair doesn't go THROUGH her arm. You can see her flip it with her hand...
2. I don't get the back to the future thing. He opens and closes his hand twice...
2. He points to his private atterwards
+Marlissa Cunningham The hair does go through her arm
2 points:
1. It might be made to seem like Elsa's hair is flipped, but they did in fact make an editing mistake. Look closely, the hair goes THROUGH the shoulder.
2. Back to the future may not be a mistake... But he definitely did not open and close his hand TWICE. Why would the kid be doing that anyway?
That's what I was thinking about Elsas hair. it doesnt look like a mistake
it isn't a mistake, people are just idiots.
three Steven Spielberg's films...nice :D
Filip Polák Totally!
Filip Polák Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Jaws, Jurassic Park.
KeKKi im pretty sure back to the future wasnt spielberg.
You're right, it wasn't...that was my mistake that slipped through editing :D
Filip Polák lolololol =D
In an old John Wayne/Rock Hudson flick called "The Undefeated" set just after the civil war, near the end of the moving an old pick-up truck drives through the background. It's quite noticeable, and I spotted it years ago during an old TV presentation.
The frozen one is dumb she clearly runs her hand through her hair to pull it forward
True
exactly
+Cadence theClever if you watch carefully her hair doesn't go through her left shoulder
+Missimoo03 - No, I just watched it frame by frame. The very frame prior to it going through her body you can see the tip of her hair under her right elbow behind her then suddenly you can see her braid clearly over her left shoulder in the next frame without going over the top of her shoulder. It's a mistake. See it for yourself but slow the speed down to 0.25 so it's easier to go frame by frame when pausing.
this is not a "mistake" this is one of many animation tricks to make animation smooth and dynamic..o.O
I used to love thoroughly searching films for all the mistakes missed. Have a binder full of them for hundreds of films. Stopped doing it years ago. Every new movie just kept upping the ante on screw-ups. But, this video was definitely excellent since I did miss some of them from the older films.
In regards to "Jurassic Park" though, that hand on the raptor wasn't the biggest error. During the T-rex encounter, the dinosaur ripped a huge hole in the electric fence and casually walked out onto the road through it. The ground was visible all around both sides of the fence and the goat's holding pad was in the forest behind the gap. Alright, so where did the huge, deep chasm come from that the T-rex pushed the jeep into? Especially since the chasm appears right behind the hole in the fence where the dinosaur casually walked through and the goat's pad was supposed to be. I've got 11 pages of flubs for that film. LOL "Gladiator", I have six pages.
My all-time favorite mistake was at the beginning of "Highlander". Connor lost the battle in the car garage. You wouldn’t think it true, but somehow Fasil won the garage battle. Check it out for yourself. After Conner kills Fasil, his body falls on its side at McLeod’s feet. When Conner pulls his sword from the support post, the scene cuts to a camera angle looking under a vehicle at a body laying on its back between two cars. The body is wearing McLeod’s gray overcoat, dark pants, black gloves and his white wrist cuffs are visible too. That is his beheaded body! Not only that, it’s the same car he was reaching under for his sword earlier! So it looks like Fasil got him before he managed to get the weapon. Why did this scene get filmed and what was it doing in the movie if Conner was meant to be the main character? I've got five pages of flubs for that film.
Wow.
#dedication
Yah
Phaota Fasil probably had the help of "THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP" (I didn't watch that movie).
Shaun Gibson What? Fasil was a bad guy.
In the movie without a paddle when they were up in the tree house they said they have to break the lock or use the combo that can remembered. But the lock was slready unlocked when the camera was zoomed out on it
+michael john never noticed that nice job!
I subscribed to this channel because of pitch meeting and specially Ryan George.
The movie " Menace 2 Society " in the beginning when Cain & O-Dog walking through the store, one of the mirrors use to watch costumers actually caught the whole film crew camera man walking behind the actors!!....
There is also 1 mistake in this video. Elsa's braid movement is completely natural, she just pulled it on her shoulder with her hand.
It went *through* her shoulder.
+Magical Kyupikon It went OVER her shoulder. It's clear!
Luis Felipe Barbedo
Look a little closer. You can tell it went through her shoulder, it's just done really quickly so that you don't see it. It's hard to do 3D animations frame by frame by frame by frame, so corners are cut (Like the laws of physics .-.) to save time and make it easier.
+Magical Kyupikon yups, agreed. I can clearly see it going through her shoulder.
yeah but most people would pull it over their shoulder not through it silly 😋
In gladiator Does anyone else notice that at 4:28 you could actually see the dummy that they used
Your right you. CAn see the neck. Good observations
that's not nice :P
anime lord
wut? and you expected a real human reenactor getting chopped off ?
Isis style ?
ODDBALL SOK lol
Me
one of favorites is The little glimpse of Hans from Frozen in Big Hero 6 before Hero shoots the statu with bamax
"Jaws" is my absolute favourite film-I've seen it 500 times since it came out in 75 and not once did I notice that damn crew boat. Well spotted-very well spotted!
love love love this channel, keep up the good work
I really like this guys voice I dunno why😂😂
also in Zootopia when Gazelle was singing try everything live at the end, her hair changes positions at one point
Storm trooper bangs his head star wars!
Max Brownlie that shits funny as hell lol
They added a sound in the HD version of that movie
Max Brownlie It didn't "slip through" the editing, Lucas thought it was funny and left it as an Easter egg.
DarkAvatar1313 God knows, Lucaqs also claimed he always wanted Han to NOT shoot first but when the script came out we all realized, with respect, that he was a lying fuck and that in the original script Han clearly shot first.
I like your top 10 lists better than watchmojo's. :)
Stacey Phillips spot on, these are actually movie mistakes. Not continuation problems or plot holes.
These became good as soon as Watch Mojo ran out of ideas.
I like the intro. It is good.
I would've never noticed any of these flaws. How many times did one have to watch to notice? Especially Frozen, I went back several times and still didn't see the error. That was about a minute on my time. How many minutes, hours, days, whatever did it take for whoever to notice? Wow, kudos to those who noticed these flaws in movies. I'm pretty sure you had the time to waste anyways.
How do you not understand elsa pulled her hair over her shoulder...
+Joshua Adkins i retract my previous statement.
+Vanquish jeez aren't you nice
Vanquish you must of mistaken the salt for sugar in your coffee that morning, cause you were quite salty.
+Joshua Adkins sugar for salt...... If your going to insult somebody, do it right.
+Aadz_54JC ...No he was right...
mom I'm in the under 301 club .
Good on ya mate
Damn just missed it
QuirkyAdventures yeah just missed it by 4 days
Leo A. I want to be in the 27 club if I become a singer.
Wtf is under 301 club, I keep on seeing coments
In Ariel 2 the king swears that he'll let music back into the kingdom, but he put his left hand across his chest
2:41 see that guy in blue just standing there lol
Regarding Frozen, the animators did acknowledge Elsa's ponytail clipping through her arm, but admitted it was done on purpose since the other motion tests just didn't flow as well. Guess they figured the majority of people wouldn't notice, and they're more or less right.
To be fair, the Jaws mistake isn't so bad.
It's not inconceivable that someone would want a film crew filming a killer shark?
