In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes that same rib twice in succession yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we, to believe that this is some sort of a, a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

That's what I thought too. It doesn't take long to put sunglasses back on, and he did still have them in his hand before it cut to Val Kilmer.
When Red Foreman goes through glass in Robocop and the glass breaks before he hits. Gets me everytime.

In the movie Twins (Arnold and Danny) when they are walking outside in matching suits the same red and white striped shirt extra lady walks back and forth behind them many times. The shirt really makes her stand out and she also seems to look at the camera a lot
The Pilot episode of Firefly has a scene at the end when Wash is pretending to hold the steering wheel. And there is no wheel anywhere in sight.
The T-1000 is probably in the middle of reforming when he gets shot. He turns his arm into a sword to slide thru the elevator doors, and then splits that into his two arms so he has to readjust.
How DARE she - Area 51 does too have an art department. They paint the flying saucers. LOL.
The Jim carry part wasn't an accident. He clearly broke in and we're just waiting for his moment to pop up and make a grand entrance. and he was just listening and waiting for the right time
Thank you! Didn't know about #5. 😎 Any evidence Jim's not in character, though? We could read that as the brainy Riddler sizing up his surroundings before giving away his presence. He compliments the decor shortly after, even, which jives with the idea that he spent thirty seconds taking it all in and thinking on how to work the room.
He's playing a mad villain. It's easy to pass off in many ways
a few of these are pretty fucking borderline - the top gun one is not even an error - he just puts his glasses back on off camera
I love these kind of mistakes so much and never think they break anyway good movies...
I always remember one in Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls. The chess table was being playing in a middle of a game then just before the animal charge all pieces suddenly vanished.
In Terminator 2, the T-800 had two different shotguns. The standard 1887 Lever-action shotgun was used in the mall and asylum scenes. But a Big Loop 1887 Lever-action shotgun was used for the chase scene.

@@coltkillergaming5685 yep. Next time you watch it, pay attention to how he handles the lever/reload. With a standard lever-action he holds it with two hands. With the big loop, he can do the one handed spin reload.

The doctor strange section is probably not a continuity error. Sam Rami loves to have background extras go across in the background multiple times during scenes. He did it in the old Spider-Man movies and I think it’s just a quirky director thing he does for his movies.

In independence day, when Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith are walking away from the wreck, Goldblum is magically wearing a Flight suit with full gear. He left earth wearing Civilian clothing.

9:22 "Maverick and Icemen"
In an older biker movie from the early 90's called "Beyond The Law" with Charlie Sheen, his character and a woman are having a heavy make out scene. As they are getting it on, they knock a lamp over and it is laughably obvious that a crew member reaches up and grabs the lamp before it falls.
In the original Conan the Barbarian, when Arnold climbs up the rocks just before he cuts the chains off his ankle, you can see a set of hands rise up and put the pile of that chain on top of the rocks
Number 4: No worries, can't see it if you never watch it ever again
In the final performance of the movie Pitch Perfect, the main girl who opposes change, Aubrey I think. Her hair is clipped up, then she lets it down and shakes it out, then it's clipped up again moments later within the performance.
There is another good one in T2, and you even show part of it in the video. The scene where the T-1000 is in the truck, chasing John and Arnie on the motorbike. In the approach to the truck about to launch itself off the road, into the pipe to follow them, the area ends in a very narrow point. When we cut to the view from the opposite angle, as the truck crashes over the top, it launches from a wide, flat point. These are obviously two different locations.
There is a classic one from Star Wars (ANH) - no, not the trooper hitting his head…
In the scene where Uncle Owen purchases the droids from the Jawas (C-3PO, and R5-D4 - the red and white droid, with the non-spherical head), the droids are moving off with Luke. We get the explosion from R5, and Luke starts to complain. We cross back to R2-D2, beeping and whistling, and you can see, in the foreground, the body and leg of R5-D4, still in the droid lineup, even though he is several meters away by then. This part of the scene was obviously shot before they removed R5 from the lineup, but was re-used, with different audio, in the final scene, for some reason.

I always enjoy it when the damage effect is visible before the source of the damage is triggered. It is usually a tiny thing but its always fun to catch it.
Damnit guys, we need to get a video out this week, but we've got NO ideas. I know, let's look through IMDB for incredibly obscure goofs that no one cares about, then verbally hype them up while showing the one single frame in which they happened. BRILLIANT!

Pirate of the carribean got a major flaw in it, barbosa gets shot and the curse is lift afther that, and barbosa still dies.
I remember in "Venom: Let There Be Carnage", earlier in the film Cletus writes Eddie a letter that clearly says "That circle of hell" and then later Eddie re-reads the letter but he says "That Circus of Hell". Also during the Eddie and Venom breakup scene, Eddie tells Venom "You couldn't get a job down here fixing toilets!" and later on Venom tells Anne "He said I couldn't get a job cleaning toilets!". And in the intro, a guard at Saint Estes says "Lights Out" at the beginning of the scene and it looks pretty dark, but towards the end of the scene when Frances is being taken away to Ravencroft, it's at least late afternoon/early evening 🤔
While I never caught it myself, I've heard there's a scene in the first Lord of the Rings were a car can be seen passing in the background. I think it's the scene with the scarecrow.
It's not a huge continuity error, but I remember in Beloved seeing a glass held by one of the main characters (I think it's Kimberly Elise's) filled with a drink to the rim, then after the scene cuts away to the person she's speaking to, it returns to show the glass half-full, then cuts away again before returning to show the glass almost full again. I also remember seeing a continuity error in the tv show Ed involving an illogical over-the-shoulder camera angle change when two characters (one of whom is played by Justin Long in his first major role) are engaged in dialogue and the camera cuts back and forth between them.
The T-1000 half computed that it was going to be shot in the head once the lift doors were opened. To recover from this potential danger more quickly, it replicated its head already being half blasted by a shot gun. Its calculation worked and it was able to keep up with its targets.
Smokey and the Bandit, Car goes from Automatic to Manual several times throughout the movie.
It's not a very popular movie, but once noticed it became one of my Favorite scenes, for how crazy it is.
Mr Nanny, there's a scene where Hulk Hogan is riding his motorcycle around, and as he passes a lake (or something) you can clearly see a guy tossing a Labrador sized dog into the water.

In Bad Boys (1983) when O'Brian, played by Sean Penn, is fighting Moreno, a movie camera and a film crew assistant are very clearly visible just behind the two actors when they are on the ground.

As a long time Area 51 dweller, I can assure you that Area 51 does indeed have an art department. It is tasked with analyzing and understanding alien artworks. It is very crucial in developing of understanding of alien civilizations and also that we don't offend them unknowingly.
In Role Models during the surprise birthday/kareoke scene, the same extra walks in front of Paul Rudd and in the very next shot he's sitting down near Elizabeth Banks. That dude was fast.

Terminator 2 - Doctor Silberman also appears and disappears in the background between shots at the elevator looking back down the hallway. Also, if you want to get technical, the T-1000 never pauses to step over the bodies of the orderlies that should be lying on the floor in its path. And, right after the terminator frees itself by ripping off its trapped arm in the steel mill, you can see Arnold's real left arm hanging down by his side in a black stocking. You can even make out the outline of his watch. Oh, and during the final showdown, the T-1000 has one less impact crater in its body than the number of shots that Sarah fired.
The Terminator - When the terminator shoots the first Sarah Connor, Arnold flinches as the gun goes off. Perfectly normal for a human, completely out of place for a machine. After the tanker truck blows up, a burning figure staggers out of the cab and collapses on a bare patch of ground. Putting aside that the closeup of the skull looks nothing like the terminator's metal skull, a few seconds later, the endoskeleton rises up from UNDER some debris. How did it suddenly get covered with crap if it fell on a bare patch of ground? Finally, when Kyle is bashing it in the head with a metal rod in the factory, in one shot (the last I think) from behind the terminator, you can see one of the neck pistons on the left side come loose.
In the 4:3 VHS version, you can see the black orderly leaping from a trampoline when the T-800 throws him into the window.
I absolutely love the Dark Knight Trilogy, but in TDKR near the beginning of the film when Bruce Wayne is in an office with Lucius Fox; Wayne has his hand on top of his cane when the camera faces him and then it is on the side of the cane when the camera is facing Fox. I saw it in the cinema when it came out and it bugged me so much but I still love the film 🤣
Gangs of New York - when Butcher throws the axe into the barbers back you can see it fly past him before the reveal of the prop axe already in his back
The T1000 head split is not a mistake. The T1000 was trying to dodge the shotgun blast by splitting his own head but didn't react quickly enough. 😉
In the 1968 movie BULLITT with one of the greatest car chases ever filmed the Dodge Charger driven by the bad guys lost no less than 6 hub caps!!
Lethal Weapon 2. On the cargo ship at the end of the movie, Riggs starts firing his gun into a bad guy as he's walking towards him. You can see each bullet hole as he's walking and shooting, but then Riggs gets right up to the guy and fires another shot point blank into the guy's chest. But in this close-up of the point blank shot, all the other bullet holes are gone.
In X2: X-Men United, in the scene where Nightcrawler teleports into the cell with the captured kids, there’s a shot before he’s supposed to teleport where you can see Alan Cumming’s silhouette before he’s supposed to be there, standing directly behind where he’s supposed to teleport.
No lie that handbrake one had me dying 😂 indicative of how dumb that franchise would end up
And in Hobbs and Shaw, they had the vehicle guys fit a hydraulic handbrake to the McLaren, only to CGI the handbrake turn after all.
Makes zero sense … the scene is not supposed to be watched as a still … in the movie nobody realises it … not a mistake.
Revenge of the sith - Mustafar - Anakin and Obi-wan fighting on the table, the lightsaber switches between Anakin and Obi-wans even though they're both holding it (also grievous still has Anakin and Obi-wans lightsabers) Also, Palpatine uses Anakin's lightsaber to fight Mace (alternate scene shot where Palpatine takes up Anakin's saber to fight)
I’m Robin Hood prince of thieves when Morgan Freeman’s character is tied up in the beginning you can see that he’s tied up in 2 different positions as they cut back and forth to him.
No mention of the charge scene in braveheart? Everytime the camera switches he's holding a different or no weapon 😅

As a former teen, I agree that is certainly an option.
Jokes aside, I think its more likely that the car they had intended to use for the scene had a bench seat in the front, which would have seated 6 people, but the car they ended up with only had 5. A lot of older cars had bench seats in the front and back. The bucket seats for the front became the norm in the 80's. The movie came out in 1984, and the car looks to be a relatively new (for the time), so there is a good chance they were forced to use it instead of the one they had originally planned because of some promotional deal with the car company.
Loved to have seen the family load grandma into the car like that.

He IS eating shrimp cocktail during the entire scene. The mistake is it starts with a plate then a goblet then back to a plate.

“Easily caught during principal photography.” Maybe make a film on that scale with potentially an hour or so between set ups and then see if you remember where each extra was at each point during multiple angles of the same shot.

Nevermind mavericks sun glasses you can see the trailer that the bike (the real star of top gun) is strapped to when he's riding parallel to the runway
In Pulp Fiction, there are bullet holes in the wall behind Jules and Vincent before the guy shoots at them.
Also, in one of the John Wick movies, when he reloads his AR-15, you can clearly see the crimped ends of the blank rounds. Obviously, blanks are what should be used, but they could've digitally edited it to make them look like live ammo.
Speaking of Reeves, there are a couple of shots in the first Matrix movie where you can see cameras...the door knob reflection is one...and in the reflection of Fishburne's glasses in another shot.
The Pulp Fiction one is nonsense … why shouldn’t there be a hole in the wall … can easily be explained within the scene … they used the gun before … what a surprise …

Oh wow, I always thought Paul Walker doing the handbrake thing was just kind of a flashy way of showing off his skills hitting the brake with his foot, never thought about it being a mistake.
Within the movie at regular speed nobody realises it any way.
The most glaring error in the Hobbit movies for me is Smaug's hoard of gold. If the coins themselves are moving, then the light reflections shift as you would expect, creating a 'glitter' effect. But any time it's just the camera moving, there is no such effect, making the pile of gold look completely fake.
After seeing Maverick's teleporting shades, I now know why the hell I buy 3-4 pairs every summer, only to wonder where they are! :-)
batman forever has lots of scenes- when Alfred gets whacked over the head, he nudges the platter so the door can open; Riddler-"Here's a good one" (picks up a large one while looking at diamonds....before it shifts to a small one)......and that's only a couple of scenes.
during the wax on wax off scene in karate kid, daniels left arm suddenly turns into his right arm
