Street food is the BEST food. The busier the place, the fresher the food...and they always cook over very high heat, so even if there were 'bugs' in the ingredients, likely they get cooked off.
I only got sick once, and it was straight up due to noodles which had been sitting out for too long. Pad See Ew to be exact, at a mall. Had I ordered those from a street food vendor, it wouldn't have happened.

Hi Serg take care. Curries normally have quite a bit of coconut milk in them and coconut milk is spoils easily in hot weather. Another factor to consider is the freshness of the meat in the curry. Finally the chilli paste used to prepare the curry could also been left exposed in the hot weather for too long and it is a hotbed for salmonella...

I have been to Thailand 8 times now. But back in the 90's I was in Pattaya and I ordered oysters at this restaurant, but because I can't speak Thai, the oysters came on a plate that were uncooked. Well I ate them and later that day I got very sick. I ask my friend to go down to McDonalds and get me a strawberry milkshake. Of course today McDonalds does not have strawberry milkshakes. But that helped me a lot. But I think back on that meal and the water could have got me sick also and not the oysters. But it is no fun being sick in Thailand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's Rain season Serg food stuff here gets spoiled faster in rain season a lot more due to high average temperature and high average humidity also higher chance of cross contamination with drinks from street vendors and ice mixed with rain droplets as well.
So if you want to eat street food do it before rain or stick to shopping malls food court.
I got diarrhea when I tried eating in the rain or my food got rained in a bit.
Avoid stalls that leave food out in the open too much to minimize the risk of getting upset stomach diarrhea or worse food poisoning mostly happened to curry or thai soup dishes.
As a Thai I also have a sensitive stomach so I can eat a lot less street food than I wanted to and when I do I mostly stick to hot egg noodles or deep fried or grilled stuff.

It’s a small world man! The first person in Bangkok that recognized me from my videos was a guy from Texas. I just came here from Texas myself! How funny is that!

It happens! I drink Apple juice the next day if I have stomach issues. Somehow it works for me.

I’m starting to think that maybe it was the ice from one of the vendors or restaurants.

@@LifewithSerg your welcome also when someone is traveling or staying in Thailand like you said about the menu because it's on thai language and is not on English so I have to point my finger to the food I want on the menu or an interpreter to speak the Thai language

I don’t feel that I get food poisoning in hindsight. Not sure what the heck it was. But I definitely learned some really good lessons from all the comments on this video.

You need to eat more hot prep food, rather than cold prep to prevent getting sick from food poisoning.

I think my stomach has finally adjusted really well here. I’ve had stomach issues since I was a kid so for me this is unfortunately kind of normal.
