    I'm getting a weird distorted signal and I can't seem to get any effects to work on the dry sound. Even turning the input down in the mix doesn't help, the buzz is always the same volume in relation to the track, it's not peaking either. May have a bum interface but it works with garage band and stuff.

    Hi! I did all the same steps but my cubase LE AI9.5 is not recording anything from the UR22mkII. Any advise on what could be the problem? I can hear my guitar thru it via the monitoring and have set up the ASIO drivers as well.

    If I copy the same effect to multiple tracks, does it raise the CPU usage?

    • @nomadptgalexandrecarvalho2133
      @nomadptgalexandrecarvalho2133 Před 3 lety +1

      Yap,the more instances of an effect,the more cpu usage,use aux tracks for that,multiple tracks going to one particular effect only.

    Hello, I have a problem and I would like to ask you, I am working with cubase 10.5, in Windows 10, and I have noticed that within my project, I name each track, with the shift + enter key, so far so good, my problem is that when saving my project, as a backup, or also "saving as ...", I close cubase and I go to the folder where I saved the project, and the tracks appear in the 'audio' folder, but without a name, just They come out as "audio 01, audio 02 ...", how could I get them to save me with the names that I have already put into the project? If you can tell me what the problem is, thank you very much, A big hug.

    • @mikehunty20
      @mikehunty20 Před 3 lety

      You will also have no names attached to the audio of the track without saving and re-opening the project. You may want to edit or delete that observation from your comments, in order to omit that the audio portion of the track is unnamed due to saving and re-opening project cause and effect.

    I had several issues with my Cubase AI. First, it does not recognize some 3rd party plugins, while Cakewalk recognizes them /they are 64 bits). I checked the path and it was right, but the plugin was not available. Ok, i passed over this period when I was fighting hard with an application to make it work. I uninstalled Cubase and go on with Cakewalk.

    • @mikehunty20
      @mikehunty20 Před 3 lety

      Did you select 64 bit in the setup of the VST? The default is 32 bits which has nothing to do with the sample rate, but of the operating system.

  • @miguelangelaltamiranolobat1356

    Are you recording your guitar in stereo o mono?, because i don't know, but in my case when i record my guitar , is in mono . How can i record in stereo with a interf ace?. Great video ;)

    • @Filete
      @Filete Před 4 lety +2

      Guitar should always record in a mono, as you are using a mono input.
      You can then use plugins or guitar simulators that can turn your track for stereo effects.

      @@soutrik27 the monitor on selection is located in the VST window, which is located by selecting Studio pull down menu, which is located on the main menu bar. Then selecting the bottom
      Option, I forget its labeled name. This will bring up the VST information, then select the bottom option, again i forgot the label name, this will bring up the VST window where the monitor on/off can be selectef

    hey pal cool down on the slick presentation and think more on the actual teaching of this product. your are constantling showing a result without taking any time as to how you got there. Thats BAD teaching. Slow down and explain. Us people are not here because we know the Programme, we are here to learn it, so please stop your bad teaching practices of assuming we do

      @Little Kobold since my last comment I learned something that wasn't taught in this video. I had to go into VST connections and choose the right output channels since by default it wasn't directing to the interface monitor.

    This might be the worst beginner tutorial I’ve ever seen. I was lost at the first step. My Cubase doesn’t look anything like yours, an even if it did why didn’t you zoom in on the pull down menus? They’re microscopic!

    • @111bobgato
      @111bobgato Před 2 lety

      Agreed, but this video is just one example of how bad DAW recording process is for a newbie like me. The hardware/software are poorly designed, poorly documented and the absolute antithesis of plug and play. I should be able to plug my guitar into an audio interface and record a track.
