Before watching, here's my opinion. Hebi Sasuke is cooked. Pain can just absorb anything Sasuke throws at him. Taka Sasuke is also cooked. Amaterasu is getting negged by Shinra Tensei. FKS Sasuke was implied to be around the same level as Sage Naruto. If he's around the level of Sage Naruto, he lost to Pain, mainly without all the help Naruto had and the lack of Sage Mode to counter Pain. Early EMS Sasuke will probably win medium or high difficulty but war EMS Sasuke (especially Juubito fight EMS Sasuke) stomps Pain
In his defense, Naruto didn’t have any more help than Nagato + intel/prep time + 6 puppet corpses all equipped with rinnegan + Konan as a personal bodyguard did. It was team vs team. Same should be done for Sasuke(haven’t watched yet either). It would be unfair if Six pit Sasuke against the Six Paths of Pain without his Taka squad. Nobody(non-kage-tier, and it’s gotta be HIGH Kage tier at that) should be fighting Six Paths of Pain by themselves. Dude was OP *and* prepared when he attacked the leaf. Obviously for the videos they wont have any knowledge of each other, it will be blank slate, but SM Naruto *needed* a team to compete with pain when he invaded the leaf bro, literally. He aint know shit about Pain or the rinnegan but Pain knew everything about Naruto already.
technically its debatable if pain can absorb sasuke's attacks in cm cuz cm power is senjutsu (not as strong as sage mode but its still is nature energy). early ems sasuke is pretty ass, it took all of sage naruto then six tails then sage naruto again to beat pain. I don't think early ems sasuke can do all that when all his jutsu can get absorbed.

@@aymanriki1018Tendo Pain could push all of Sasuke’s CM attacks like he did Naruto’s. Also Tendo capitalized on SM running out *after losing the other pains* then Naruto went 6 tails mode. He never fought SM Naruto prior to his six tails transformation. Reminder, the Pains are corpses that doesn’t feel any pain. Tendo ran from 6 tails Naruto to *survive* him since eventually 6 tails Naruto was going to dismember him and incapacitate Tendo like the other pains. So he ran. He doesn’t get tired, he doesn’t get injured or have any chakra reserves of his own. Just cooldowns. Once it was finally down to exhausted/injured SM Naruto vs Tendo Pain, Tendo lost handily. MS/EMS Sasuke would fold Tendo in a 1 v 1. The issue would be getting him alone and having enough strength left over to actually beat him. Naruto kept up with Nagato cause they’re both Uzumaki. Sasuke might not be able to keep up in the battle of attrition, even with his team, and by the time he finally gets Tendo alone he probably wouldn’t even be able to use his MS anymore. So who knows.
If we really want to break it into multiple rounds, we can do a Jiriya situation, where individual paths attack him vs a hidden leaf situation where they all attack at once. One of the reasons I honestly find Pain so interesting in vs stuff.

I mean it's pretty obvious anything less that EMS Sasuke (and KCM Naruto for that matter) is not defeating Pain. Dude has Rinnegan...which was literally considered the eye of the gods in the show.

One of the main reasons Sasuke struggled against Deidara is because he went out of his way to avoid killing him. He had many opportunities to, but he was still on his whole "Moral compass, I only wanna kill Itachi" shpeel. Can't say the same for Deidara. it's a bit like why Naruto struggled with Sasuke in their final battle despite all the help and power-ups from all the other tailed beasts. Sasuke had to forcably take the tailed beasts chakra just to be a match
One question i always had was what if Sasuke prepares atmosphere for kirin while pain is doing chibaku tensei and once he's trapped inside he uses it on the rock to break himself out. I think it's possible.
That could... actually work.. Even more so if he doesn't wait for chibaku tensei to complete and uses Kirin on the gravitational orb or whatever that is and destroy. Cuz yk... Why wait for the planet to complete when it'll be harder to destroy it.
Yea i mentioned it in threads too, kirin is his guaranteed win con, the question is how will he sneak it without them preparing defenses it can't be absorbed since it natural lightening, but also if sasuke went on the battle field , threw kirin on himself and pains and snake shed at the right time SOUNDS CHEESY but whatever works works 😂

I've been saying for a while, that raikages speed is slept on. I don't think many people realize the difference between him at 5 kage summit, vs hik facing minato about 2 decades prior. Not wanting to go into the whole spectacle myself, it's nice someone touches up on it to an extent

Sasuke gets overwhelmed, Pain honestly is underrated sometimes. Naruto would have failed if not for Kurama and that unpredictable power buff towards the end. And that's despite the fact that Naruto had knowledge and substantial prep time (other sage mode shadow clones).Pain managed to take down Sage Mode Naruto with prep + knowledge after clapping the entire leaf village (which included Kakashi and Shizune). Sasuke around that point in the story barely defeated Deidara and beat a non-bloodlusted Itachi. Sasuke would have a very difficult time striking all six paths due to their shared vision and Pain can absorb all of his ninjutsu. IIRC it's possible to pull someone out of a susano, so he could be pulled out of that assuming Sasuke has the incomplete susano at this point.Sasuke fails utterly. He doesn't have genjutsu strong enough to throw off the Pains (like Ma/Pa genjutsu), doesn't have invisible attacks (e.g frog taijutsu), and tbh I doubt he has the firepower or stamina to compete with Pain.

Nagato is one of if not THE most underrated characters in the show. Sasuke can’t definitively defeat pain until he gets his SO6P chakra power up even EMS Sasuke would would likely lose & only win with VERY high difficulty

MS sasuke scales somewhere around Kcm Naruto because Naruto admitted he needed to master kuramas chakra to defeat sasuke. I think sasuke high diffs pain if he fights without any plot armor. However if he fights pain in Naruto’s position then it should be extremely low diff due to how intelligent sasuke is. Prep knowledge literally makes the fight too easy for sasuke. Not to mention a nerfed deva path + animal summons.

6:01 Yeah, it seems like if less than 6 Paths of Pain are hit with a Genjutsu, then Nagato should be able to break the Paths out. Because he should be experiencing both being in a Genjutsu and not being in a Genjutsu at the same time, it's easy to tell which is real
Every single form of Sasuke pre six-paths, including EMS, gets handled quite handily by Pain; even EMS gets mid diffed by Pain, potentially even low diff in certain scenarios. Do not overestimate Sasuke’s capabilities and downplay Pains; do not utilize misinformation. Pain negates Sasuke’s entire arsenal. As for the Amaterasu, then Pain not only as the insane reaction speed to react to it, but he also is able to sense it coming; as we see with Nagato when he was warning Naruto; Tendo can destroy the Amaterasu with the Almighty Push, and the Preta Path can absorb it, and the Rinnegan animals could tank it if need be. As for the Amaterasu against the Animal Path’s summons, namely the dogs, then we know from the series that the dogs are ten in number. If the dogs split into ten separate forms and attempt to surround Sasuke from every direction, which they very likely will, it is impossible to argue that Sasuke can just use Amaterasu to get out of that situation and just move on to another scenario; that is not correct for two reasons. Firstly: As I have already mentioned, there are two Paths of Pain who categorically negate the Amaterasu; if the Preta Path is close in proximity to a dog that is being targeted by the Amaterasu, then he can simply absorb it. More reliably, however, is Tendo Pain. We know that the Almighty Push is capable of being used at a distance. So even if Tendo Pain is far from the dog that is being targeted by the Amaterasu, he should be able to simply use the Almighty Push to negate the black flames from a distance. Secondly: On top of the first point, how can you even potentially argue that Sasuke can simply look at the dogs charging at him from every single direction and use the Amaterasu without something happening? In short, you would be saying that Sasuke can just look in one direction and use the Amaterasu on a dog, look in another direction and use it on another dog, look in another direction and use it on another dog; all of that without being hit? How slow do you think the dogs are? Jiraiya, on top of Mr. Gamaken, was unable to flee from the dogs while traversing the rain village. Not to mention that the Paths of Pain themselves would be attacking Sasuke. So that argument has been debunked. As for the Chidori Stream, then the Paths of Pain attack their enemies in a coordinated manner. When they fight, they do not attack unnecessarily and without strategy. For example, in an anime-only but still canon flashback, Utakata in his Version 2 form attacked the Human Path with a jutsu, the Preta Path absorbed it afterwards. Even if, hypothetically speaking, the Six Paths of Pain are closely surrounding Sasuke, to argue that Sasuke would get the upper hand because of the Chidori Stream is invalid; not only because of the Preta Path but more-so because of Tendo Pain. The Chidori Stream is an AOE (Area of Effect) attack. Do you know what else is? The Almighty Push. So once Pain recognizes that Sasuke is using the Chidori Stream, an AOE attack, Tendo will use the Almighty Push to negate the entire thing. That argument is also debunked. As for Kirin, then even if, hypothetically speaking, something happens to the Preta Path; the time it takes for Sasuke to weave the signs, activate the Jutsu, prepare it, and then finally use it takes a bit of time; more then enough time for the Naraka Path to revive the Preta Path who will ultimately absorb Kirin which will substantially harm Sasuke’s chakra supply while giving Pain a lot of Chakra. Also, even arguing that the Preta Path will even be taken out in the first place is extremely far-fetched; I do not subscribe to that scenario given the fact that Pain shuts down Sasuke’s arsenal and completely overwhelms him. As for the Susano, then I will first discuss the Susano rib-cage. The Susano rib-cage has been shown getting damaged or destroyed a number of times. During the Five Kage Summit, the Fourth Raikage A tears right through Sasuke’s susano rib cage with just his physical strength. Also, during the fight between Madara and the Five Kage, Tsunade cracks Madara’s Susano with a single punch, and then destroys the front of it completely with some assistance from A and Ohnoki. So, if the Susano ribcage was unable to withstand the attacks of A and Tsunade, then there is absolutely no way that it can survive the mini-nuke of the Asura Path. When Pain invaded the Leaf Village, the Asura path uses the mini-nuke to destroy an entire sector of the Leaf Village; the Susano ribcage does not have nearly enough defense to withstand that kind of crazy firepower. So if the Asura Path uses that mini nuke in front of Sasuke, even if he is in the Susano ribcage, then Sasuke has two options; either he activates his complete susano or not. If he does not, then Sasuke dies and flat out loses the fight. If he activates his complete Susano, then he will likely survive; however even if he does activate his complete Susano; he will still likely, at the very least, get really shaken up by the enormous blast-wave. The combination attacks of Darui, Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara do not compare to the Asura Path’s mini nuke; an attack so powerful it destroyed an entire sector of the Leaf Village. So Sasuke, at the very least, will still get shaken up by that mini-nuke; but he will possibly survive. Even a barrage of missiles from the Asura Path will very likely be enough to get rid of the Susano rib cage. Now we move on to the complete Susano, As for the Arrow, then Tendo can simply use the Almighty Push to stop it. As for dealing with the Susano itself, then Tendo can pull Sasuke out of it using Universal Pull to stop the Susano. If Gaara was able to pull Madara out of his Susano using his sand, then Pain can definitely pull someone out of their susano using the Universal Pull. As for the Planetary Devastation, then you need an unbelievable amount of firepower to defeat Pain’s Planetary Devastation, firepower which Sasuke, on his own in that instance, does not possess. It took KCM Naruto, Killer Bee, and Itachi to use their most powerful attacks to stop the Planetary Devastation; and just for the record, Itachi’s Yasaka Beads were hard carried by the Rasen Shuriken and Tailed Beast Bomb. The Yasaka Beads are not very impressive in strength as we see from various battles. Version 2 Naruto, aka V2 Kurama, was barely scratching the surface of the Planetary Devastation, and he was spamming constant volleys of chakra bombs at the mini planet. So I do not subscribe to the claim that Sasuke Susano Arrows, even if he spammed them, would be enough to stop the Planetary Devastation. On top of the lack of necessary firepower on Sasuke’s part, Pain will not only constantly be repairing any potential damage that Sasuke inflicts but will also be completing the Jutsu as a whole. It also important to mention that Pain’s Planetary Devastation takes almost no time at all to reach near completion. It took about a minute for the entire thing to nearly form against V2 Kurama. So by the time Sasuke even realizes what is going on and attempts to make a plan to try to remedy the situation; it will be too late, even if Sasuke tries spamming Susano Arrows, I do not believe that would stop the Planetary Devastation, I completely disagree with that take along with many other ones. If he attempts to summon Aoda and use the reverse summoning, then as I mentioned before; the Almighty Push is capable of being used at a distance and Pain is able to multi-task while using Planetary Devastation, so he can potentially just get rid of Aoda while using the attack. Also, Pain will not need Planetary Devastation for this fight, I just wanted to rebut that particular issue. Now, that pretty much clears all the necessary issues, and I have not even mentioned how Pain might just low Diff even EMS Sasuke by using the Almighty Push. Not the catastrophic one of course, there is no need for that; but rather one of the lethal variants such as when Pain one shotted, while severely weakened and exhausted, Gamabunta, Gamahiro, and Mr. Gamaken; or the other leaf Shinobi earlier on in the invasion. So, no matter what Sasuke does; Pain just categorically negates his entire arsenal. Amaterasu does not work, his various Justus such as Kirin do not work, Susano does not work, etc. Pain will pull Sasuke into some crazy combination attack and either destroy him with the Asura Path, absorb his Chakra with the Preta Path, insta-kill him with the Human Path, impale Sasuke with the Chakra Rods; however it may be. Do not use misinformation and make up random power spikes, Pain objectively defeats every single form of Sasuke pre-six paths quite handily; even EMS.

I agree with you Mr Six but i do think tendo pain is wayyy stronger than we give him credit for especially against EMS Sasuke. There's a difference in the speed of tendo pain when trying to CAPTURE not KILL Naruto vs when Naruto goes into 8 tail mode or something. The speed is crazy, bro doesnt die and crazy endurance. At that point Tendo pain was moving lightning fast, because that kyuubi was crazy, Genjutsu doesn't affect the rinnegan too as The Rinnegan allows the user to perceive chakra and break out of genjutsu more easily, its heightened visual perception makes it harder for genjutsu to trap the Rinnegan user. The Rinnegan also grants the ability to absorb chakra. This can be used to disrupt the flow of chakra that powers genjutsu, effectively nullifying the illusion. People seriously sleep on Pain and fail to account for some pretty big facts. First there is zero evidence of the Sharigan ever effecting a Rennigan user. All we see work on it is the Genjustsu from Ma and Pa which is heavily amped with nature chakra and considered among the strongest in the verse. Second Pain is almost a perfect counter to a Sharigan user as he is immune to the Sharigan genjutsu and can perfectly time his attacks and defences thanks to the linked vision to hit the opponent in their blind spots or overwhelm their vision with multiple attacks as we see with Bee vs Sasuke and Guy vs Obito. Third Pain in the Leaf village is a fair bit weaker than in the Rain Village. He is further from his main body limiting the skills he can use. He was heavily weakened by taking on and destroying the entire leaf village. Naruto had full Intel on him and multiple top tier summons that are arguably Kage level in their own rights multiple sage clones to recharge his Sage Chakra and he still lost. There is a good argument to be made that Naruto isn’t stronger than Jiriya yet at this. As for the Sage mode Feat vs 3rd Raikage? A common misunderstanding. Naruto was trying to say Sage mode allowed him to Predict and react much faster thanks to its amped sensory abilities not that it was a physically faster form than KCM1. End of the day I think Pain is a pretty hard counter to Sharigan users in particular and Sasuke doesn’t really stand a chance until late into the War Arc.

I compared their fight to Taka vs. Bee, but you had a better example in the video, EMS Sasuke vs. blind Madara. You think two EMS Sasuke's and a trump card or a Hebi Sasuke (depending on how you see Megumi in this fight) couldn't beat blind Madara? Two of the combatants have durability negating weapons, and they both move fast. I mean Maki was attacked (three dismantle attacks, and the last one was because he was holding her sword) unexpectedly by Sukuna all last chapter, but without the distractions and obstructions she was working that nigga.

A Genjustu even if successful wouldn’t do anything. The 6 Paths of pain are just corpses, essentially a zombie with the chakra rods inside. If the genjutsu is used on any one of them Nagato would notice immediately because of the chakra disruption or the foreign chakra inside the body. As for Nagato I’m not sure if he’s susceptible to genjustu. If he is Izinami is still an option. However Itachi felt it necessary for Kabuto but not Nagato.
I feel like it is also important to acknowledge that when Naruto fought pain, pain would have already been down a lot of chakra. Also, KCM2 Naruto would have been much more fatigued than ems Sasuke at the point of them fighting Jubito, so the comparisons between the two is difficult to make.

The character who use bombs is underrated if you did not have special eyes or lightning techniques bombs beat most things. It was very unorthodox fighting style really interesting Naruto fight in general.
I see what’s being said here and I think you’re being very generous to sasuke but it’s for the most part accurate . There’s obviously a lot to cover but kakazu is not one of the weaker akatsuki members even if it seems that way at face value he beats sasuke. I think Kishimoto makes it pretty clear that Naruto narratively is always stronger and faster than sasuke even when fatigued and sasuke has to play catch-up he’s also sharper to some degree. It’s because of the opponent matchups Naruto beats and gets paired with the stronger opponent since the start of the series and is always potentially drained . I do think sage mode is faster because of how the frogs describe it and how the ten tailed is basically immeasurable energy you won’t get tired but forever grow in power and stamina but it takes more training to use it longer and get into it faster but kcm was used and emphasized because of how much longer it can last for him at that time also the amount of chakra kurama has readily available. Before watching, here's my opinion. Hebi Sasuke is cooked. Pain can just absorb anything Sasuke throws at him. Taka Sasuke is also cooked. Amaterasu is getting negged by Shinra Tensei. FKS Sasuke was implied to be around the same level as Sage Naruto. If he's around the level of Sage Naruto, he lost to Pain, mainly without all the help Naruto had and the lack of Sage Mode to counter Pain. Early EMS Sasuke will probably win medium or high difficulty but war EMS Sasuke (especially Juubito fight EMS Sasuke) stomps Pain
In his defense, Naruto didn’t have any more help than Nagato + intel/prep time + 6 puppet corpses all equipped with rinnegan + Konan as a personal bodyguard did.

Tendo ran from 6 tails Naruto to *survive* him since eventually 6 tails Naruto was going to dismember him and incapacitate Tendo like the other pains. So he ran.

Once it was finally down to exhausted/injured SM Naruto vs Tendo Pain, Tendo lost handily. MS/EMS Sasuke would fold Tendo in a 1 v 1. The issue would be getting him alone and having enough strength left over to actually beat him.
Naruto kept up with Nagato cause they’re both Uzumaki. Sasuke might not be able to keep up in the battle of attrition, even with his team, and by the time he finally gets Tendo alone he probably wouldn’t even be able to use his MS anymore. So who knows.
Sasuke and itachi really had a chapter long genjutsu battle. Entire conversations and everything inside their minds 😭😭
If we really want to break it into multiple rounds, we can do a Jiriya situation, where individual paths attack him vs a hidden leaf situation where they all attack at once. One of the reasons I honestly find Pain so interesting in vs stuff.

One question i always had was what if Sasuke prepares atmosphere for kirin while pain is doing chibaku tensei and once he's trapped inside he uses it on the rock to break himself out. I think it's possible.

Sasuke gets overwhelmed, Pain honestly is underrated sometimes. Naruto would have failed if not for Kurama and that unpredictable power buff towards the end. And that's despite the fact that Naruto had knowledge and substantial prep time (other sage mode shadow clones).Pain managed to take down Sage Mode Naruto with prep + knowledge after clapping the entire leaf village (which included Kakashi and Shizune). Sasuke around that point in the story barely defeated Deidara and beat a non-bloodlusted Itachi. Sasuke would have a very difficult time striking all six paths due to their shared vision and Pain can absorb all of his ninjutsu. IIRC it's possible to pull someone out of a susano, so he could be pulled out of that assuming Sasuke has the incomplete susano at this point.Sasuke fails utterly. He doesn't have genjutsu strong enough to throw off the Pains (like Ma/Pa genjutsu), doesn't have invisible attacks (e.g frog taijutsu), and tbh I doubt he has the firepower or stamina to compete with Pain.

Nagato/ Pain is by far 1 of the most underrated characters. I can’t begin to describe how cracked nagato having the rinnegan is in shippuden truly is. TILL THIS VERY DAY the rinnegan poses a threat to the main cast. I can go full breakdown for you but just a heads up your talking to a guy who believes obito without intel on nagato/pain would also lose to him and I believe nagato is at the TOP of the verse until we see madara again in the war arc.

Every single form of Sasuke pre six-paths, including EMS, gets handled quite handily by Pain; even EMS gets mid diffed by Pain, potentially even low diff in certain scenarios. Do not overestimate Sasuke’s capabilities and downplay Pains; do not utilize misinformation. Pain negates Sasuke’s entire arsenal. As for the Amaterasu, then Pain not only as the insane reaction speed to react to it, but he also is able to sense it coming; as we see with Nagato when he was warning Naruto; Tendo can destroy the Amaterasu with the Almighty Push, and the Preta Path can absorb it, and the Rinnegan animals could tank it if need be. As for the Amaterasu against the Animal Path’s summons, namely the dogs, then we know from the series that the dogs are ten in number. If the dogs split into ten separate forms and attempt to surround Sasuke from every direction, which they very likely will, it is impossible to argue that Sasuke can just use Amaterasu to get out of that situation and just move on to another scenario; that is not correct for two reasons. Firstly: As I have already mentioned, there are two Paths of Pain who categorically negate the Amaterasu; if the Preta Path is close in proximity to a dog that is being targeted by the Amaterasu, then he can simply absorb it. More reliably, however, is Tendo Pain. We know that the Almighty Push is capable of being used at a distance. So even if Tendo Pain is far from the dog that is being targeted by the Amaterasu, he should be able to simply use the Almighty Push to negate the black flames from a distance. Secondly: On top of the first point, how can you even potentially argue that Sasuke can simply look at the dogs charging at him from every single direction and use the Amaterasu without something happening? In short, you would be saying that Sasuke can just look in one direction and use the Amaterasu on a dog, look in another direction and use it on another dog, look in another direction and use it on another dog; all of that without being hit? How slow do you think the dogs are? Jiraiya, on top of Mr. Gamaken, was unable to flee from the dogs while traversing the rain village. Not to mention that the Paths of Pain themselves would be attacking Sasuke. So that argument has been debunked. As for the Chidori Stream, then the Paths of Pain attack their enemies in a coordinated manner. When they fight, they do not attack unnecessarily and without strategy. For example, in an anime-only but still canon flashback, Utakata in his Version 2 form attacked the Human Path with a jutsu, the Preta Path absorbed it afterwards. Even if, hypothetically speaking, the Six Paths of Pain are closely surrounding Sasuke, to argue that Sasuke would get the upper hand because of the Chidori Stream is invalid; not only because of the Preta Path but more-so because of Tendo Pain. The Chidori Stream is an AOE (Area of Effect) attack. Do you know what else is? The Almighty Push. So once Pain recognizes that Sasuke is using the Chidori Stream, an AOE attack, Tendo will use the Almighty Push to negate the entire thing. That argument is also debunked. As for Kirin, then even if, hypothetically speaking, something happens to the Preta Path; the time it takes for Sasuke to weave the signs, activate the Jutsu, prepare it, and then finally use it takes a bit of time; more then enough time for the Naraka Path to revive the Preta Path who will ultimately absorb Kirin which will substantially harm Sasuke’s chakra supply while giving Pain a lot of Chakra. Also, even arguing that the Preta Path will even be taken out in the first place is extremely far-fetched; I do not subscribe to that scenario given the fact that Pain shuts down Sasuke’s arsenal and completely overwhelms him. As for the Susano, then I will first discuss the Susano rib-cage. The Susano rib-cage has been shown getting damaged or destroyed a number of times. During the Five Kage Summit, the Fourth Raikage A tears right through Sasuke’s susano rib cage with just his physical strength. Also, during the fight between Madara and the Five Kage, Tsunade cracks Madara’s Susano with a single punch, and then destroys the front of it completely with some assistance from A and Ohnoki. So, if the Susano ribcage was unable to withstand the attacks of A and Tsunade, then there is absolutely no way that it can survive the mini-nuke of the Asura Path. When Pain invaded the Leaf Village, the Asura path uses the mini-nuke to destroy an entire sector of the Leaf Village; the Susano ribcage does not have nearly enough defense to withstand that kind of crazy firepower. So if the Asura Path uses that mini nuke in front of Sasuke, even if he is in the Susano ribcage, then Sasuke has two options; either he activates his complete susano or not. If he does not, then Sasuke dies and flat out loses the fight. If he activates his complete Susano, then he will likely survive; however even if he does activate his complete Susano; he will still likely, at the very least, get really shaken up by the enormous blast-wave. The combination attacks of Darui, Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara do not compare to the Asura Path’s mini nuke; an attack so powerful it destroyed an entire sector of the Leaf Village. So Sasuke, at the very least, will still get shaken up by that mini-nuke; but he will possibly survive. Even a barrage of missiles from the Asura Path will very likely be enough to get rid of the Susano rib cage. Now we move on to the complete Susano, As for the Arrow, then Tendo can simply use the Almighty Push to stop it. As for dealing with the Susano itself, then Tendo can pull Sasuke out of it using Universal Pull to stop the Susano. If Gaara was able to pull Madara out of his Susano using his sand, then Pain can definitely pull someone out of their susano using the Universal Pull. As for the Planetary Devastation, then you need an unbelievable amount of firepower to defeat Pain’s Planetary Devastation, firepower which Sasuke, on his own in that instance, does not possess. It took KCM Naruto, Killer Bee, and Itachi to use their most powerful attacks to stop the Planetary Devastation; and just for the record, Itachi’s Yasaka Beads were hard carried by the Rasen Shuriken and Tailed Beast Bomb. The Yasaka Beads are not very impressive in strength as we see from various battles. Version 2 Naruto, aka V2 Kurama, was barely scratching the surface of the Planetary Devastation, and he was spamming constant volleys of chakra bombs at the mini planet. So I do not subscribe to the claim that Sasuke Susano Arrows, even if he spammed them, would be enough to stop the Planetary Devastation. On top of the lack of necessary firepower on Sasuke’s part, Pain will not only constantly be repairing any potential damage that Sasuke inflicts but will also be completing the Jutsu as a whole. It also important to mention that Pain’s Planetary Devastation takes almost no time at all to reach near completion. It took about a minute for the entire thing to nearly form against V2 Kurama. So by the time Sasuke even realizes what is going on and attempts to make a plan to try to remedy the situation; it will be too late, even if Sasuke tries spamming Susano Arrows, I do not believe that would stop the Planetary Devastation, I completely disagree with that take along with many other ones. If he attempts to summon Aoda and use the reverse summoning, then as I mentioned before; the Almighty Push is capable of being used at a distance and Pain is able to multi-task while using Planetary Devastation, so he can potentially just get rid of Aoda while using the attack. Also, Pain will not need Planetary Devastation for this fight, I just wanted to rebut that particular issue. Now, that pretty much clears all the necessary issues, and I have not even mentioned how Pain might just low Diff even EMS Sasuke by using the Almighty Push. Not the catastrophic one of course, there is no need for that; but rather one of the lethal variants such as when Pain one shotted, while severely weakened and exhausted, Gamabunta, Gamahiro, and Mr. Gamaken; or the other leaf Shinobi earlier on in the invasion. So, no matter what Sasuke does; Pain just categorically negates his entire arsenal. Amaterasu does not work, his various Justus such as Kirin do not work, Susano does not work, etc. Pain will pull Sasuke into some crazy combination attack and either destroy him with the Asura Path, absorb his Chakra with the Preta Path, insta-kill him with the Human Path, impale Sasuke with the Chakra Rods; however it may be. Do not use misinformation and make up random power spikes, Pain objectively defeats every single form of Sasuke pre-six paths quite handily; even EMS.

There's a difference in the speed of tendo pain when trying to CAPTURE not KILL Naruto vs when Naruto goes into 8 tail mode or something. The speed is crazy, bro doesnt die and crazy endurance. At that point Tendo pain was moving lightning fast, because that kyuubi was crazy, Genjutsu doesn't affect the rinnegan too as The Rinnegan allows the user to perceive chakra and break out of genjutsu more easily, its heightened visual perception makes it harder for genjutsu to trap the Rinnegan user. The Rinnegan also grants the ability to absorb chakra. This can be used to disrupt the flow of chakra that powers genjutsu, effectively nullifying the illusion. People seriously sleep on Pain and fail to account for some pretty big facts.
First there is zero evidence of the Sharigan ever effecting a Rennigan user.
All we see work on it is the Genjustsu from Ma and Pa which is heavily amped with nature chakra and considered among the strongest in the verse.
Second Pain is almost a perfect counter to a Sharigan user as he is immune to the Sharigan genjutsu and can perfectly time his attacks and defences thanks to the linked vision to hit the opponent in their blind spots or overwhelm their vision with multiple attacks as we see with Bee vs Sasuke and Guy vs Obito.
Third Pain in the Leaf village is a fair bit weaker than in the Rain Village.
He is further from his main body limiting the skills he can use.
He was heavily weakened by taking on and destroying the entire leaf village.
Naruto had full Intel on him and multiple top tier summons that are arguably Kage level in their own rights multiple sage clones to recharge his Sage Chakra and he still lost. There is a good argument to be made that Naruto isn’t stronger than Jiriya yet at this.
As for the Sage mode Feat vs 3rd Raikage? A common misunderstanding.
Naruto was trying to say Sage mode allowed him to Predict and react much faster thanks to its amped sensory abilities not that it was a physically faster form than KCM1.
End of the day I think Pain is a pretty hard counter to Sharigan users in particular and Sasuke doesn’t really stand a chance until late into the War Arc.

You argued Sasuke was too strong (I'm assuming in a vague sense; speed, strength, etc) for all of them fighting him at once. I compared their fight to Taka vs. Bee, but you had a better example in the video, EMS Sasuke vs. blind Madara. You think two EMS Sasuke's and a trump card or a Hebi Sasuke (depending on how you see Megumi in this fight) couldn't beat blind Madara? Two of the combatants have durability negating weapons, and they both move fast. A Genjustu even if successful wouldn’t do anything. The 6 Paths of pain are just corpses, essentially a zombie with the chakra rods inside. If the genjutsu is used on any one of them Nagato would notice immediately because of the chakra disruption or the foreign chakra inside the body. As for Nagato I’m not sure if he’s susceptible to genjustu. If he is Izinami is still an option. However Itachi felt it necessary for Kabuto but not Nagato.
I feel like it is also important to acknowledge that when Naruto fought pain, pain would have already been down a lot of chakra. Also, KCM2 Naruto would have been much more fatigued than ems Sasuke at the point of them fighting Jubito, so the comparisons between the two is difficult to make.

I see what’s being said here and I think you’re being very generous to sasuke but it’s for the most part accurate . There’s obviously a lot to cover but kakazu is not one of the weaker akatsuki members even if it seems that way at face value he beats sasuke. I think Kishimoto makes it pretty clear that Naruto narratively is always stronger and faster than sasuke even when fatigued and sasuke has to play catch-up he’s also sharper to some degree. It’s because of the opponent matchups Naruto beats and gets paired with the stronger opponent since the start of the series and is always potentially drained . I do think sage mode is faster because of how the frogs describe it and how the ten tailed is basically immeasurable energy you won’t get tired but forever grow in power and stamina but it takes more training to use it longer and get into it faster but kcm was used and emphasized because of how much longer it can last for him at that time also the amount of chakra kurama has readily available.
